Kelsia had been contemplating the idea for days now and finally decided it was just best to get it done. If she wanted to know for herself what was going on then she needed to call. Once more she was not going to be at the Shockwave show because she was at the hospital.. this time she was not given the option not to stay. They told her she needed rest, and that was the bottom line to it. Sitting up in the bed she picked up her cell phone and scrolled through for the number she was looking for. After a few rings she had a feeling that she might not get an answer so she went to lower the phone.

It did take a few rings, but it wasn't because she was screening her calls as might be expected, all things considered. It was because she hadn't heard it at first, being that she was training with Lucien Fell this week. About the fourth ring though she'd gotten out of the ring to take a break and got her phone out, flipping it open without looking. Her voice was steady, despite the out of breath quality to it.
"Hello?"

Hearing a voice on the other end she lifted the phone to her ear once more. "Aurora?" Said more in a questioning tone seeing she did not really hear who had answered it. Figuring it was no one other then the owner of the phone she went on. "Good job in our match this past Sunday. You did everything you said you were going to do... you took me over the edge... and retained the title like you said." She stopped talking and let her words sink in. Not that Aurora was slow, but because she knew it might come as a shock.

It wasn't so much shock, but she was surprised. She had heard a bit of a rumor that Kelsia had been 'kept' for observation and had meant to call despite their shared past, but because of what had happened Sunday there were a lot of things that she just hadn't done. She took a deep breath, and then spoke a bit more clearly. "Thank you. Good match, it really was. You did what you said you would too, and did it on your own. You should be proud enough of what you did, Kelsia. That took guts." She didn't press as to why Kelsia had called, sure the woman would tell her in due time, and it gave her precious moments to rest before going back to train.

"I meant it. Like I said, I know my word was not good before, but I am trying to show that it can be." She stopped again and laid back on the bed once more, her head spinning slightly from it. "Aurora, good match this past Sunday..." Yes she had already said that much, but she couldnt remember that. The blows that hit her head had taken its toll like the doctors had warned and now she had the short term memory loss and they were not sure when it would come back. Despite that she did not continue on with saying the same thing in full. "Are you okay? I seen what happened after the match. Cynthia... then Roric and yourself.... Snake... I dont even know what to say really. I guess I just wanted to make sure you were okay."

She had nodded to the man she was training with, letting him know she'd be just a bit longer and frankly he'd impressed her even more now that she'd worked with him. She listened to Kelsia speak, and took a deep breath, blowing it out slowly before answering. It was not quite a sigh, and she managed to keep even the hint of tears from her voice.

"Kelsia, I'm about as far from okay as can be. But...I'm not going to let that stop me. He wouldn't want that. I'm going to stay on track, you know? I want.. I want him to be proud of what I'm doing. Cynthia at least is doing okay but we don't know who kicked her or why...yet." There was a hint of emotion there, the promise of payback to come, for sure.
"I don't know what to do, other than keep moving forward. If I stop..." She trailed off, pensive in tone.
"In the end I have to believe, in him too."

Kelsia listened and continued on once more after Aurora had finished speaking. "Well I think you will figure out what to do in the end. Good luck this Sunday as well." Another pause from her end before she 'remembered' she had not asked something. "How are you and Cynthia after what happened? Have you heard from Roric?" She had seen the news on Rorics condition but she didnt remember it at all. Hell she didnt even remember that Adrean and Tony had spent time there at the hospital with her.

"Well Cyn is pissed." That actually got a chuckle from her, a brief bit of sound that wasn't happy but it wasn't all that sad either."She hates that someone tried to use her as a message to me, to use against me apparently - but she doesn't blame me. I blame me, but not her. She figures whoever it was will try again and this time she'll see them coming." There was a long moment in which she just didn't say anything, then she seemed to start breathing again. "I haven't, not yet. But I have it on good authority that he's still alive and kicking." That good authority being her ghost Rich, but she wasn't going to tell Kelsia that.

"I am glad that you are all doing as best as can be in the situation. Take care of yourself Aurora, and tell Cynthia to do the same."Kelsia seemed to have said everything she needed to.

"I will." She paused a moment, just before Kelsia would hang up. "Feel free to call me, if you need something. Now you rest up, and I'm going to get back to Lucien Fell trying to kill me in the ring."

"I will. Thanks."
Kelsia hung up the phone and laid it on her chest before picking it up and scrolling through it for the number she was looking for. Dialing Aurora she listened to it ring waiting for her to answer.

She had just set it down to walk away when it rang again, and she picked it up, seeing the number and her dark brow rose. She did answer though..
"Kelsia?"

"Aurora. I was just calling to tell you congratulations on keeping the title this past Sunday. You did everything you said you were going to do. I hope concidering everything else that happened that night you are okay."

She paused, and then very softly answered. "Thank you Kelsia. I hope you are doing all right, it was a great match, wasn't it."

A nod came from her on her end and she continued. "Yes it was a great match. Good luck in your match this week against... well, you know. Good luck!"

Again a pause, and then ... "Thank you Kelsia?" Soft funny tone, but still.

"Your welcome. Take care Aurora." With that she hung up and after a few minutes she was about to dial Aurora.....yet again... but Tony and Adrean had come back in the room once more and happened to grab the phone telling her they would dial for her... which they did not, more so after seeing the call history
