Ryan had found his own way home, having wanted to stop and do things on his own. That worked out perfect for Kelsia who wanted time to herself anyway. There was a video camera on the dashboard and she turned it on while she was driving so she could send it in to headquarters and they could go and air what she had to say on ACW TV. It was dark outside, but she was still able to be seen because of the lighting that was coming in from the streets…hello it was New York after all.
Her hues remained on the road as she drove on; she had just hit I-95 so it was only a matter of time before she would get back home. Yes most would just be staying inhotels for the night, but Kelsia was a night owl as it was, and though warn out from her match, she was not about to stay there longer then need be. She was not paying any mind to how fast or slow she was going because the traffic at this hour was slim to none.
One hand rested on the wheel, the other on the door, as the window was down in that blue Dodge that everyone was used to her driving up in. The radio was off, as it was helping her thoughts to stay running rapid in her mind so she was able to get them all out while still clear, and while still remembered. Her features could be seen only slightly, through the light coming in off the highway lights every so often.
When she began speaking it was low and audible from the lack of breeze outside at this late hour. “You know, when I first came into this business, I said I had something to prove out there, that I wanted to make an impact in this business. I did not want to be known as an underdog, but rather known for making headlines. I told everyone to doubt me, and I also said that I hoped everyone was ready.” She stopped talking for a moment as she flicked the turn signal on to move over a lane. “You see, I said it all, and I did it all too. I have proved that I belong in this business time and time again by coming up against the best and being able to stay in the ring and push them to the limit, yes I might have lost most of my matches but tell me that I have not pushed anyone to the limit and I will call you a liar. I wanted to make an impact, and I did that too. I am no underdog in this business and I know I make headlines. Now next week I am going to be in the ring once more, and why is that? Because this business knows that I am a great wrestler. They want to see me in that ring each and every week. “
She stopped speaking as she looked up to theroad signs , where the road was splitting and she made sure to get over to the right to stay on I-95. Taking a look in her rear view mirror she noticed there were no cars behind her, and the only cars around were way ahead of her for that matter, so she sped up to keep with traffic.
“Next week I have heard that I will be in the ring with Aurora once more. Now, I know what Aurora can bring to the ring, but it looks like I have to dig for more information. After last week, and our match tonight, I can not wait to hear what you have to say this week. I am sure whatever it may be, will only add fuel to my fire.”
A slight breeze started coming about outside and it was enough to cause Kelsia to bring her hand in and let her digit hit the button bring the window up more then half way. Right about now she was regretting having Tony and Adrean stay home this week instead of coming out to the show, company would have made the ride seem that much quicker. A glance down to the clock told her it was quarter till one, if the boys knew she was coming right home tonight instead of staying in New York they would have been calling her any minute now to see what she was doing. It was surprising that they had not called yet anyway seeing as she knew they seen the match and she hung up on them when they tried to talk to her after the match happened.
“Aurora, you won the match tonight, do you feel happy? You came out on top but that does not mean sh*t to me, and it does not mean anything to anyone else either. So your little friends congratulated you, big flying f*ck. Look what happened to them…they were taken out, one at a time. Your number is coming Aurora, and I am sure that it will be me that takes you out. “ Kelsia smiled once more, holding it in place. “You got your wish Aurora, everything else that was on my mind before, is now gone, not forgotten, and just placed on hold. You wanted to fuel my fire, you wanted me to give you all I have, and tonight I failed to do that. Next week though, there will be no number one contenders spot on the line, next week, it is just you and I in the ring to settle things once and for all…or make matters that much larger, take your pick.”
Just as she was speeding up around the bend of the road a flashing light showed behind her followed by a siren? Her hand left the wheel only to come into contact with it once more with great impact that actually had her regretting doing such a thing. Her hand went into a fist clenching it tightly. “This is Bull-Sh*t.” She said aloud though it was only to herself. Being on the right hand side of the road she put her right turn signal on before pulling to the side of the highway, so close to getting home with no problems too. She rolled the window back down then turned the ignition off, and put her flashers on so to avoid any further problems and waited in the car for the officer to come over.
Right behind her he pulled up, getting right on her a** before getting out of his own vehicle and walking towards her car. She watched him in the driver side mirror as he walked like he was something special, fixing his uniform as he went. She rolled her eyes, which was noticeable on the recording that was taking place, before the officer’s voice was heard.
“License and Registration.” He stated in his stern tone trying to sound like he was the law. He was a broad shouldered male, early thirties so he looked, might as well just call him tall dark and handsome, the dark being the late hour seeing as he was a white male.
She leaned over before opening the glove compartment and pulling out herregistration , and her license and straightened up to hand it to him. “Mind telling me what you are pulling me over for?” She asked in her arrogant tone, after all she was already in a sh*tty mood, he was not helping things.
He reached over and grabbed the documents from her before speaking once more, after looking at her license. “Might want to watch your tone there Ms. Vector, I am pulling you over because you were speeding.” He pulled his flash light out and turned it on before flashing it at her and speaking once more. “Have you been drinking tonight?”
Kelsia laughed at this, after flinching when the bright light hit her eyes unexpectedly. “No, I have not been drinking. I have been kicking someone’s a** all night now I am on my way home. Can you just give me my ticket so I can be on my way?”
The officer shook his head at her. “I am sorry Ms. I need you to step out of the vehicle.” Kelsia retorted quickly getting heated at his bullsh*t. “You need me to get out of the car for speeding? No, you need to write me a ticket so I can get out of here and get home; I have more pressing matters to deal with then sitting here going back and forth with you. I have to worry about Aurora and how I am going to take her out so she will not be in my way anymore. The longer I sit here dealing with you, the less time I have to worry about her and getting all the information I need to get the job done!”
As Kelsia was going off, and the camera was rolling and catching everything, the officer had motioned for his partner to come around as he would be needing assistance. Seeing the other male, older and not as stunning, come over had her laughing.
“You can not be serious.” The officer nodded and motioned once more for her to get out of the car. She groaned and rolled the window up before going and getting out of the car, grabbing her keys as she did so and tucking them in her pocket. The door was still opened as the officer went and cuffed Kelsia. She could be seen in full view still and she was laughing.
“Don’t worry dear Aurora, I will be out first thing in the morning, and you will have seen this by then. I will make sure Tony and Adrean get it in to headquarters to run before I am out. Fear not Ghost, you will be hearing from me again…and soon.”
The officer’s had both thought she was just insane now, talking about ghost and what not. They carted her off to their car, after locking her doors and what not. You saw the cop car pull off, and then there were just cars here and there going back and forth.
By the time Kelsia got her phone call, she would tell Adrean and Tony to get the tape out of the car and personally deliver it before coming to pick her up in the morning.
Kelsia was out for now… but she was not down!
