Choke on it! 5-15-09

Kelsia had left Roric and when she got back to the hotel she checked into she noticed there was a new promo that had aired, of course it was Roric. Seeing herself sitting there with him was something that she would never have imagined in a million years. It was something she hoped she never had to see again, but this week she would have to deal with it still. A camera was on, and facing the table that she was sitting at. Her long legs were bare and her feet were resting on the table, crossed at the ankle. A white shirt covered her upper form, and her red boy shorts were peeking from the bottom of that shirt. The look in her eyes showed she was not happy at the moment, and everyone was about to find out why. Her phone was sitting on her chest and it was on speaker so the words from the other end of the line would be heard loud and clear. How long ago the conversation started was unclear, but it was obvious, that things were not so well.
"Roric, you know I am trying to be nice here. I am not doubting you what so ever and I get to the hotel and what do I hear? You running your mouth behind my back. Seriously, if you have something to say to me, say it to my face, don't wait until I leave then talk crap behind my back. As for your little buddy, he has it all wrong, I am not afraid of you, I just don't want this match to turn out to be a three on one if I do turn my back on you. Like I said from day one after hearing about this match, I have your back, and you said you have mine. If that is the case, then please knock off the comments at least for now. The more comments you make this week to attack me, the harder it will be to set things aside and work with you. You said you had my back, and I trust you there, but at the same time I am questioning it now because you said you have my back before and during the match. Your remarks were uncalled for. You know I want this win as much as you do. I will put what you had to say behind me, I hope I don't have to hear it again though. We are not supposed to be going at one another here, but our opponents."
She moved her rear in the chair and leaned back even more. Her hand came to rest across the spot where her stomach would be under that shirt. Even the KTA logo shirts were put aside for this week, that showed she was trying to work with Roric, and not against him. That hand moved from resting on her torso to going and swiping through her hair, as she listened to what her 'partner' had to say.
"At the risk of making myself sound like even more of a boorish oaf than people apparently think I am, you're reaping what you sow, Kelsia. You call it taking shots behind your back while I refer to it as calling it like I see it. What I say...I mean. What I declare that I will do...I do. If you truly have issues with what I said, then we'll discuss it and do what can be done to rectify it. There's no intent within me to ostracize you or cause this match to turn into a gang fight against you...because I want to win as much if not more than you do. But you have to realize our past here...have to realize what your words have caused around my neck of the woods. Considering that...can you see where I'm coming from? You'll be able to count on me this Sunday just as I feel I can count on you. We'll never be friends and you won't be sent any flowers...but you can take solace in the fact that, if nothing else, you'll make it out of this match healthy and ready to go for that title once again." A pause came from the other end before the voice of Roric came through once more. "Talk is cheap, Kelsia. Save it for after the match...after we defeat Aurora and Snake. Then you can run off at the mouth all you want. But you're the last person who should be censoring what someone else says consider the slander you've spread all over this company almost since you arrived."
"You said boorish oaf, not I, remember that for starters. As for me reaping what I sow, I said that from the beginning. This is why I was trying to make things work in this match, so there would not be any more issues then necessary. You want Snake as much as I want Aurora. The only way were are both going to get what we want is if we both cut it out and move on. I am not asking you to be my friend, nor am I asking for flowers to be sent my way. The last thing I want is to speak to you outside of this match. No offense Roric, but like I said, I am not here to make friends, I am here for business. The world of wrestling is about what goes on in the ring, and around it. Yes I might be stepping on toes, and I know I have caused issues when it comes to you, but this is the entertainment world. If you cant handle what comes at you then maybe you are in the wrong business. With or without you, I will be coming out of the match, and one way or another, no matter what condition I am in, I will be going to Trial of Honor, and I will do my best to end your little friends title reign. You say talk is cheap, if that is the case then why is everyone feeding into what I have to say? Everyone, including yourself could just look the other way, ignore the bull coming out of my mouth... but there are those that listen, and obviously, some that are feeding into it easily. Does not say much for those that are feeding into it now does it Roric?"
"Bottom line is...I'm not other people. I can only be myself, which is more that can be said for some of the malcontents around here. I'm a person, and thus I take things personally. You seem to think that you're either justified in your words or untouchable, but you're neither. So let's leave it at this: we'll both do our part to earn the win. After that, we'll both walk away. Talk all the smack you want, because sooner or later, you'll be buried under your words."
"Like you said Roric, do what we have to for the win, after that walk away." She paused on her end and a smirk came over her face." I would love to see the one who would try to bury me under my words. They would have to try, and try hard, because I don't go out that easily, and if I do, I always come back for more." With that she hung up the phone and was ready to rest, after all, she still had to deal with him at the gym in the morning. Kelsia was not ready for sleep just yet, she had her opponents to talk about still. She had plenty to say to them as well, and the fun was just about to start.
"Snake, are you waiting for the last minute to strike? You have been quiet thus far, I highly doubt its from fear, so what is it? Draygon got your tongue? Ooh, I know...Aurora must be keeping you occupied elsewhere. Is she pleading with you not to hurt Roric? I am sure she does not want her little love triangle broken up. Slither out of wherever you are Snake, come and play with us. I would hate to make you feel left out on my part. Yes, I know I said to Roric that I would let him deal with you, and I will...but that does not mean that I can't have my fun with you in the mean time. I can not wait to see what little words come out of your mouth towards me this time around. Going to call me a harlot again? Or did you have something better in mind? Please, do speak up... I can't wait to see what you have to say. Like Roric said though, talk is cheap. Yes, I have seen what you can do in the ring, and I know you have no problem placing your hands on a lady, but even if you did, I would not call myself a lady. I am a machine, a well oiled machine, and I can not be broken, not even by someone the likes of yourself."
Hearing her phone going off she stopped and answered the call. "I will accept the charges." She said instantly before Uria's voice came from the other end. Her body leaned towards the camera shutting it off so she could converse in peace.... but she was far from over... after a long nights sleep she would continue.
The conversation was just what she needed to clear her head so she could get some much needed sleep, but waking in the morning, and knowing what was to come, just built that stress up all over again. After dressing in a pair of white sweat pants, and rolling the legs up to her knees, complemented with a plain black tee she headed out the door and to the gym. As she walked into the door she seen her partner already there and warming himself up. Walking over to him she stayed quiet for a moment before speaking to let him know that she was there. "Roric, did you sleep well?" She asked casually as if they did not just give one another a piece of their minds just hours before hand. "Well enough..." He had one leg propped up on the top turnbuckle of the training ring, hands reached out to grip the toes of the wrestling shoe, chest nearly flat against his leg with his head down. He didn't turn to her when she came up, but knew she was there... "...and you?"
She smiled. "Plenty." That was the only reply she gave him. After a moment she seen he was seeming warmed up, she herself had plenty of a warm up on the run over to the gym so she was ready to go. "Lets get to it then shall we?" She did not wait for a reply but walked over to the ring and slid under the bottom rope to get this going.
"You won't be matching her speed..." Spoken as he lowered his leg and moved about a bit to loosen himself up and get the blood flowing. "...so avoidance and countering will serve you better. I'm not as fast as she is, either, but I'm going to come at you with various moves and I want you to avoid or counter them as necessary." Kelsia nodded her head in reply. That was a better route to go when preparing for Aurora anyway. As long as she would be able to counter what came at her, which for the most part she could from Aurora, then she would be fine. She already knew she had it in her to get a win over the Ghost, but since that win, Aurora had been getting much better in the ring, so she knew she had to pick it up more then ever to get a win over her again. He wouldn't give her a whole lot of time to get relaxed in that ring. Hitting the ropes, he'd already be coming at her with a clothesline attempt. The intent wasn't there to hurt her, but if she didn't manage to get out of his way somehow, she'd find herself on her back.
She was bouncing from one foot to the other and as he went to get into the ring she stopped only to see him coming at her quickly. Not able to move to the side she went and bent back avoiding the clothesline attempt and getting back and facing him once more as quickly as she could. "Guess it's better when you come at me while I am not expecting it." That time she was lucky, but she had a feeling it was not going to be this easy much longer. He didn't waste breath with speaking back to her...he followed through and hit the far ropes before coming back her way with a big boot attempt, that size fourteen more than capable of driving her to the mat. She went to move out of the way of that boot heading for her chest only to not match his speed and get hit in the side knocking her back to the mat. Her hands came to the mat with a slap after she had gone down, but she controlled herself and kept in her head that he was only helping her train, of course she could not help but to think he was probably enjoying this.
Going by his expression, he wasn't enjoying that he hit her. He offered her a hand up to her feet. She didn't even know why, but when he offered his hand to help her up she took it, and ignored the pain that came from that boot that she failed to fully dodge as she prepared herself for what he had next in store. "Thank you." She found herself saying and wanted to hit herself for being polite moments after she said it.
He was as surprised as she was, but didn't show it. Once she'd regained her bearings, he took a few steps back. "Ready?" Her hues were locked on him now, awaiting his next...attack. A nod was all he got as she was now focused fully not wanting to feel to much pain before the actual event itself.
"Bear in mind...that if you have the chance to counter-attack...you'd better take it!" He punctuated that point by leaving his feet with a standing dropkick aimed for her chest. Roric wasn't the biggest guy in the world, but he used his size and build very effectively. The last thing Kelsia wanted to do was inflict anything on him as well. She wanted them both to be in top shape for the match, but he wanted counters, so why should she deny him the pleasure? As he came with the standing dropkick she moved to the side, and her arm came around the front of his throat. Letting her feet lift off the mat, gravity did the rest and brought him down with a modified reverse DDT.
It was a pretty good shot, catching him as he got back up with that move...and it got a slight smile out of him as he shook it off and got back up to his feet. Nodding his head to one side, resulting in a pop in his neck, he chuckled. "Yes...exactly what I'm talking about..." Now let's see how she'd take something a little different...lowering his head and shoulders, he ran at her with intent to lift her up and rush her into the corner with his arms around her waist. That was the attempt, of course...perhaps she'd surprise him again.
It seemed like only seconds after she stood he was coming at her once more and she was lifted. As he lifted her into the air she leaned her weight towards his back quickly, and with force, as her arms went to wrap around his waist, flipping him back to the mat, unless of course he was stronger then she had anticipated. What she got was him grabbing her legs and holding her captive against his back with her head facing the mat. Though he'd not used it in a live show, this was a set-up for one of his more vicious moves...Decimation. But he wasn't about to use that on her. Still, he kept a grip on her legs so that she didn't go anywhere, commenting. "On Aurora...this would certainly have caught her by surprise...and she wouldn't catch you like I did. Nicely done."He waited for her to release her grip, then he drew her back up and over his shoudlers, setting her on her feet in front of him. Her legs being caught was something she had not expected, more so being placed back on her feet, she felt for certain that her head was just about to connect with that mat below until her feet came to touch ground once more. "Thanks, see, I have more to me then I have been showing. I can get out of it, if the opportunity allows."
"It never pays to show everything that you can do. Had you been an opponent, I would have driven your head straight down with that move...but no one's seen that out of me yet."
"The key to her arsenal is her DDTs and her Killswitch/Dreamcatcher finishers. You want to make damn sure she doesn't get the jump on you from behind. And any suplex attempt could become the Dreamcatcher...so look for those moments and block them."
"I will, I want her to know that she has real competition coming to her. She might have gotten me these last few matches, but that is only making me want this that much more, so she knows when I go for that title, I am not going to be a joke match. I want this win as much as you do for many reasons Roric, because of that... I will do anything I have to do to get the win." Obviously that meant working with him as he wanted, his way. She would never flat out say that though.
"Show me what you've got then. Because if it comes down to a situation of you against Snake, you'll going to have to be able to defend yourself long enough to get a tag..."
Kelsia looked over at him while speaking. ]Color=purple]"Well you know Snake well enough... you know what he would do. Put me into a position he would most likely use against me."
"...you sure that's what you want?"
"In order to be prepared for what he can do then I need to have an idea, just do it." Her tone was low, and calm, but at the same time hesitant. "It needs to be done."
It wasn't a place that he wanted to go...but so be it. "Fair enough..." Lashing out with both hands, he grabbed her around the throat and picked her up as though she were a child, tossing her into the corner. Putting his foot at her chest just below her neck, he applied a little pressure...not as much as Snake would, but enough that she got the idea. As his hands went around her throat, not only was she being shown what Snake was capable of, but it showed her what Roric could do as well. As she was tossed to the corner, her head snapped back and sent a pain down her spine but the boot on her chest was doing more damage then the little bit of whiplash had. Her hands were trying to grab at his leg and release but she was having no luck. Panicking would not help so she tried her best to just worry about getting out of the predicament. Her foot came flying up and into his chest before going to the mat again and coming up once more, trying to kick him back. She succeeded in shoving him back, but it was only a temporary respite. He looked more than prepared to launch himself at her again, so it was either try to shove him back again or get out of the way... As he was shoved back she fell down to the mat and rolled out of the ring, much like she planned on doing if Snake was in there with her and she could not get to Roric. It was a good move. He didn't follow her out, but he did nod approvingly when she bolted like that. Showed that she was thinking. Leaning against the top rope, he watched her. "Just weather the storm if he does get his hands on you. You might not be faster than Aurora, but against him you're certainly quicker." She was listening to him, but not paying much mind to what he was doing as tending to her throat and chest seemed a bit more important at the moment. Once she knew she was good she looked up to him and nodded. "Like I said, he is all yours, if I can keep it that way, I will."
"Good. You look like you could use a break."
"Yeah, I have some things I need to get of my chest anyway." She said lightly knowing she should get back to what she needed to say to their opponents. Walking away from Roric she went and looked at the camera to speak and get what she had to say to the last of their opponents out of the way.
"You want to see powers Aurora? I can show you so many things, actually... I will be showing you a power this Sunday. My little dear heart, you have no idea what I have in store for you. I am sure you have never let your heart get in the way of your performance in the ring before, but here is the thing... your heart is in this match, in more ways then one. In the first corner you have Me, the one you love to hate, teaming up with Roric, the one you will never have so you will only be a friend to him. Then in your corner you have Snake, who seems to have taken a liking to you like a dog with its bone."
"You want me to thank Snake, for keeping you from losing your temper, Dear heart, don't make me laugh. Trial of Honor would have just came that much sooner if you lost your temper. You should try some anger management for that, then again, I think you like attacking people. Only difference attacking me from a little thief in a locker room, you know I can't press charges on you. As for your little statements regarding my change of tone this week, and how I can never fully trust my partner this week. I think you are wrong there. I can trust easily, its myself that can not be trusted, but unlike you, Roric did not ask for a cease fire, he just wants Snake, and is letting me have you. As you see, we are still having words back and forth, but we are doing everything we need to do to make sure we can work as a team against you and yours. Tell me something Aurora, how does it feel to see Roric telling me what moves to look out for? He and everyone else knows that you and I will be seeing each other in the ring soon for that title of yours, are you okay with him giving me advice? After all, he is my partner, I hope you can accept that he will do anything to get this win as well. You say why am I always in your personal life? You don't want an answer... so I will not give you one.. but I will dig deeper..." Kelsia was looking in the direction that Roric had just walked off in. Her hues, which were being caught from the cameras angle, were seen looking him up and down. "I can see why you had been putting Roric's Poster up while you were working out Aurora. Tell me something though.. you went from a 5(being Roric) to a 2 (Snake). What were you thinking? I see you really are messed up, in more ways then one. You heart is confused, and cant decide between good and bad. Your head, which we all know because of your little friends, is not in the right place. Now with your change in men, and the lower getting the best of your attention, your eyes must be messed up as well. I want you to think of something long and hard Aurora. This match here, its just a warm up for the shot I will be getting at Trial of Honor for that title you have around your waist. While I am working on this match, and training to take that title from you at Trial of Honor, I want you to think about what it feels like to have Roric's body against your own. If you really want to know what it feels like, just come find me. I have no problem telling all." Kelsia knew that she would get Aurora with that one. After all, the poor girl was confused. Kelsia turned to head into the direction Roric went, then stopped for a moment and spoke again. "Don't be jealous much Aurora, it was not as good as you might think."
"Roric, you know I am trying to be nice here. I am not doubting you what so ever and I get to the hotel and what do I hear? You running your mouth behind my back. Seriously, if you have something to say to me, say it to my face, don't wait until I leave then talk crap behind my back.
