Fun and Games....this is not! 7-24-10
Posted by Kaylyn James Evans on Thursday, April 21, 2011
Kaylyn was one to stay at home the last few months, but today she decided to go out and spend some time with her husband. The park was open andfree of people which was a bit shocking. Only her, Chris, and the camera they had brought along so Kaylyn could make an appearance on ACW television and speak to her opponents this coming week. A blanket was sprawled out on the ground and Kaylyn was sitting there looking down at Chris who was propped up on his side watching her. They seemed to be deep in conversation for a moment but Kaylyn broke that quickly, which she always did to avoid confrontation of any sort.
Kaylyn: “Alright, listen. Please?”
Chris: “What is it?” Chris was unsure what she was up to now, but with the things they had been talking about lately... anything was possible to come from her now.
Kaylyn moved to adjust herself and got onto her knees looking down at him with a serious expression on her face.
Kaylyn: "Baby... You have to remember something for me.” Chris lifted a brow as he waited for her to go on. To his surprise she broke out in song. “Like sweet morning dew... I took one look at you.. and it was plain to see... you were my destiny! With arms open wide... I threw away my pride, I'll sacrifice for you, dedicate my life to you! I will go where you lead, always there in time of need. And when I lose my will, you'll be there to push me up the hill. There's no... No... looking back for us. We got love, and sure that's enough, you're all... I need... to get by.”
Kaylyn smirked before she broke out in laughter from her little, spur of the moment burst. Chris on the other hand had an even bigger smirk on his face.
Chris: “Hey hun, did I forget to mention that the camera was ready for you?”
Kaylyn's eyes got wide before she pushed Chris back making him fall from his propped up position and onto his back.
Kaylyn: “I will get you for this Vaude!” She laughed before turning around to face the camera knowing that she was just singing to the world now... not a good feeling in her stomach. Not that she couldn't sing.. because she could, but it was the fact of being caught off guard that got her the most. Taking a slow breath she tossed Vaude in the back of her head for a moment before thinking of who she would start with. Logically, it was Aurora, because she was the first to come forth this week. “Shot to the heart? Cute Aurora... though I believe a DDT from you would hurt a lot more. You were right Aurora.. when you said that I was not your only threat, and I should not be top priority.. though not in those words. Hell, for the life of me, I can not even fathom why I am in this match. I figured it would be quite some time before I had the opportunity to get that title around my waist again... at least fight to have it around my waist again. Yet here I am getting tossed into a match with the best the woman's division has to offer. The Champion herself, Aurora Matthews who did in fact win that title from me many months ago. The Firecracker, Megan Harris, who can hit harder then anyone on the roster. Tee Voland, whose foot will come flying at you faster then you know it. Dahlia who has been undefeated thus far. Lastly Brianna, who I have yet to face in the ring at all... but who was trained by Aurelei and therefore you know she has plenty within her that she is keeping hidden. Six woman in the ring ready to scratch, crawl and fight their way to be the last one in the ring when all is said and done. This match is in no one's favor really... at some points, I feel I might be on the bad side of a few in that ring as is from past experiences... so my time might already be numbered. Good thing I have started living each day as if it were my last... therefore, no worries on my end. No matter what happens in this match, it will be me putting my all into it from start to finish. But... each of you had your own little comments to say, so I will of course give you the pleasure of replies.”
A small movement had her going from sitting on her knees to her bottom flat on the blanket. Grabbing a strawberry she bit into it and waited until she was done chewing before she went to speak again.
Kaylyn: “Aurora, like I said already, you were the one who took that title away from me... you fought hard, as did I, but you were the better woman that night. I don't hold that against you, not at all. You have defended that title numerous times and showed just why you are the Woman's Champion. You said something that I feel the need to repeat, just so you realize the statement goes for you as well.... 'Just that fast, dreams of glory and power can falter and be laid waste.'” Kaylyn paused for a moment as if thinking the statement over. It was true of them all... in one way shape or form. “Elimination Rules, and we all might feel we are the ones being gunned for. Aurora, because she is the current Champion. Megan or Tee due to how hard they hit. Dahlia because of her current winning streak, and Brianna because of who she was trained by.... then there is myself, who just a week before this match was set, helped Aurora out when she was getting attacked by Megan and Tee... I am sure they would love to toss me out of the ring first. I myself, am not looking to take the easy way out. If you target me, you too will be a target. All for themselves in this match, forget working with one another, that title, and having the opportunity to be the World Woman's Champion once more, is what I want more then anything. So all out... that is my motto. It matters not who I have to pin, or who gets tossed out in which order, only who is standing there last. Sorry to say it Aurora, but if they come for you first, and you happened to get eliminated, that will not lessen anything for me if I happened to be the one with the title in the end. You are right about one thing Aurora, and that is the history between us two... but it needs not to be mentioned, there is no need for the past, only the present. What I did to you last week, was what any human in their right mind would do, I evened the odds, I helped you out even if it seemed like I would be the last one to do such. I was in the right place at the right time... nothing more needs to be said about it. It was nothing, and I would do it again if it was anyone else on the roster also. But like you said, don't disrespect me by not giving it your all. That is what I want from everyone in this match. There were times I did not give my all and I regret not doing so because it was a slap in the face to my opponents, though I did not think of it that way at the time. This time around you all will see a new Vaude. One that fears nothing, and is real about everything. No more secrets... everything comes out in the open this time around.. and you will see, that is a promise I intend to keep. A fight in the ring with you Aurora has always put me to the test, and this time around is no different. No matter what... everyone should be worried... because they know not what awaits them. As you all seen last week, my ring rust is nil, I am at my full strength, and everyone is in my way of getting that title around my waist once more.”
“We have earned one another's respect throughout the time we have been here, but that has never stopped us from giving it all in the ring Aurora. This Sunday is no different, you will lay me out, I will lay you out, then we will both kick out and get up and do it all over again... with four others in the ring, it will make things more lively, but its a challenge I am ready to get through. Speaking of the others that will be in the ring...”
Kaylyn took a moment to gain her thoughts for her next opponent, then within moments she was going on once more, as if it was nothing. Even time away from the business did not stop her from knowing what it was she had to do to get the job done.
“Megan Harris, quite a little mouth on you, but I guess you need to say all that to make it known that you are not playing games here. While I do believe that you and Tee are a force not to be reckoned with I do not feel that you have what it takes to get through four others. Why you might ask? First of all is the stupidity of saying aloud that it will be two on four. Bad move in your part because that makes you both the target of the others in the ring right off the bat. You have what it takes to be one of the top females in the business, but like Aurora mentioned already... you are lacking common sense. Instead of walking the walk, you only talk the talk, and that there will have you down and out in this match rather quickly. You are too full of yourself, and take it from one who has been there... that's not the way to get things done in this business. Sometimes you have to lay down and let some things fly by without saying a word, and then when they are not expecting it, come back and hit them harder then ever. I get it though, you want to be straight up with everyone from the beginning, and that is a good thing... but to say that you will be the last standing in this match? That shows that you really have no idea what you are getting into here. Every woman on this roster could take down Sang Real... so to go on about how you and Tee did such...” Kaylyn shakes her head and tries to stifle a laugh. “It is seriously a laughable matter.”
“You say only a sheer idiot would allow Aurora to be the last in the match, but that is not true at all, man, like myself, would love to test ourselves against the best there is... and in this match... that would be the Champion herself. And you are right, she is well capable in Elimination matches, in her first ever it was myself who laid her out in the end... but that is what makes me want to leave her up last in the long run... to see who has grown the most in this business, after all, she came in just shortly after myself.”
“I find it rather humorous that you would think much of what you are saying. To say you were surprised to see me back is nothing, hell I was surprised myself that I came back, but this is my life, this is where I belong. So my first match back was a fail on my end, that's not a big deal, even before I left, I had more losses then wins, but it never stopped me from coming back and fighting even harder the next time around. You have said a lot about me Harris, and the only thing that I can see.. is you are jealous of me. My return, and knowing that I do what it takes to get the job done.. is bothering you. I never called myself great, I never said I was here to fight for the belt once more... but the fact that you are bringing it up just shows how much you fear me. Am I that much of a threat to you Megan? I must be... because the second I helped Aurora out both you and Tee backed off really fast, realizing you were across from the best there is in the woman's division. Granted I might have been gone for a while, it does not take away from everything I have done, and will continue to do in the business. You and Voland did not forget what I am capable of, and that is a good thing... more so since your facing me in the ring this week. What a joy it will be to see you and Tee on the outside of the ring after you are disposed of, and seeing myself or one of the other ladies in the business walking around with the title in the end. Either way... it is fine that you fear me, it's to be expected, after all, look what I have done in the past. You are right to think I am the same as before, I never once said I was not. I am manipulative, I am a b*tch, but I get things done. I have paid the price for my actions in the past, and I am sure that in the future it will come to that once more, but I am ready for anything, and I fear nothing. Life is too short to live in fear... and I learned that the hard way. I have gone through more then any of you have while I was gone, and no one will understand it, but when all comes out, you will see why it is I came back, and why it is I continue to fight each day. I think you need to get your facts straight though sweetie, it was not Chris Vaude who came in to replace T&A. Chris is the love of my life, he replaced no one, he was always there... just not in the front line. And for you to think he is good... just shows you have no idea what you are talking about. Like I said, time will tell all. You will come to see that with Chris by my side... anything can happen. And unlike when T&A were around... he does not have to interfere to help me get a win, simple words he says makes all the difference to how I am in the ring... and that is something you all should worry about. But you keep worrying your little head about how I returned and am going to take the spot light, it's not my fault that you can not step up your game to be in the front line. Just bring what you can to the ring this Sunday Harris, and work on from there, maybe sometime in the future, you will see you need to step it up some more. Tee will not always be around to back you up... though from the sounds of it, you can not do sh*t without her!”
Fun and games were not so much what Kaylyn was about anymore, and that was obvious, she was all business right now, and Chris too knew it, which was why he was letting her be for the time being. Business came first, and he knew that all too well.
“I guess that brings me to my next opponent... and no, I am not talking about Tee Voland, rather Brianna, the sunshine of the business. You remind me a little of another female who is still contracted to this business, one Ashley Davis. So bright and cheerful all the time, and hey there is nothing wrong with that! Everyone needs a little sunshine to brighten the day. While you have been here in the business you have seen a lot, probably seen more then you have done, but that is not a bad thing. While some might not see you as a threat in this match.. I do see you as one. I have not gotten into the ring with you for a match and therefore your abilities are somewhat unknown to me. The only thing I know, is I too, at one point, and only for a short time, was trained by Aurelei, and it was hell. So the fact that you were trained for so long, makes you a great threat in my opinion. I do not see you as one who has shown everything they can do in one sitting, but rather one that is waiting for the right time to strike, and what better a time then with a title shot! Now is the time for you to show everyone what you have skill wise, and not leave anything out. Time to show us all what you are truly made of, not that you have not given it your all in the past! Your way of thinking is straight too, and that is good, we all know there is that chance we will not be the last one in the ring, but you state it proudly, and that is to be admired, not faulted. To say you do not belong in this match is wrong however, because you have been fighting your way in the ring long enough to step into a title shot match. Management knows it, and hopefully you will see it as well. If anything, it is a learning experience like you said, and you will get to test out each of us in the ring, who you might not have faced yet. If you don't walk away with the title this Sunday, I can see you walking away with it in the future. One thing I was hoping was not going to happen was you bringing up the past, but I guess it was bound to happen, might as well get it out of the way now, then wait until later. You were scrapped to the side in a confrontation between Aurelei and myself, and yes, I did see what you had to you back then, while you seen a darker side to me as well. Thing happen, some people change. Did I? That is yet to be seen. While you believe I might not walk out of this match on top, I too believe there is that chance. I never said I was on the top of this business again, hell, I too believe I should not be in this match, but the cards were dealt, and I am playing the hand that has come my way, I will make the best of it, as best I can at least. As far as our past, it is behind me, and whether it is behind you or not is another story. It will not hold any barrings on my actions in the ring this week however, you... like the others, are just another opponent I have to get through to come back into a title reign. If I walk away with the title or not is another story, but that will be told another time.. after Sunday. Until then we are all in the same position here... and that's fighting our way to the top. Should one of us be victorious against the odds and defeat all the others to becoming the new Champion, then we will have to live up to that, and continue to show we deserve to hold that title. If it should be me, I am ready for that challenge.”
Kaylyn was sure of that, that should she walk away with the title in her hand, she would continue to fight as hard as she could to hold onto it once more, but that too was looking down the brighter path, which this Sunday might not be.
“Dahlia, you were right, you did win the match, because you were the better woman that night. You say I didn't listen to you, but that is far from the truth, I did listen... I just can not comprehend the words that come from you at times... does that make me stupid? It might, but I try to listen the best I can. Does that mean I will not say something in return? No, that is not the case at all. I never once said that you were not a threat to me. Not at all. You have what it takes to be in this match, or any other match. You are a great competitor, and I realized that you are not an act, you are truly... well, you. But figuring you out is rather difficult, and that will be the downfall. I will not worry about figuring you out just now, right now I have to focus on what you and the others have to say in regards to myself. As you seen, I kept my word to an extent, while I did not win the match, I did not cheat... though it came across my mind more then once, I refrained from doing so. Actions do speak louder then words, and I have to get my actions right, without using weapons or interferences to help me out, once that happens, I will be a force to be reckoned with. Or... not to be reckoned with... whichever, once I am back on my A game, I would not get on my bad side... no matter who you are. Until then, I will fight the fight and work my way to the top, just like you are doing Dahlia. I see you learn on quickly, you noticed that I stay back, and see what others have to say before I unleash, after all, why be the first to speak up if I don't have to be... it was not a good thing for me when I spoke first in the past, so I started to lay in wait, listen closely, think thoroughly, then come back with my own. At times it fails me, but that is a part of life. We live, we learn, we get better... at least most of us strive to. As for everyone and their opinions of me, that does not matter so much, no matter what I do, good or bad, there will always be someone doubting me, and that is fine, it will not haunt me while I sleep at night, so there is nothing to worry about. I am not here to please everyone else, I am here to do what I enjoy doing, and that is entertaining, so whichever way I go about it, I win in the end. Whether all love to see me, or hate to, it matters not, because I know I am enjoying what I do, one way or another. As long as I am happy with myself, no one else matters... and this Sunday, I will be happy with what I do to everyone in the ring, win or lose, another shot will come down the line. So don't think you are not a threat to me Dahlia, and no I am not gunning for you either, you won the match fair and square, like I said, no hard feeling about that.”
Kaylyn stretched her arms over her head, and that black t-shirt with the hem short enough to bare her torso rose high, resting just under her assets. A clearing of the throat from Chris had her smirk, and mouth that 'paybacks were a b*tch' before she turned back to the camera and relaxed her arms once more to continue on to her final opponent this weekend.
“Last, but not least would be Tee Voland. The silent but deadly this week it would seem. You too seem to be a threat in this match, though it is obvious everyone is for a reason, after all, no one is safe. Tell me something Tee, with the gold on the line, will you really stay there and help Megan so it is the two of you in the end. Granted you two have come to terms... look how long you have been in the back, on the side, watching how things were done, before you signed a contract of your own. Are you going to let this opportunity slip by because you are teaming with Megan? Or will it really be all for themselves? If the opportunity arises will you not take Megan out to get you that much closer to the end? I am not trying to start anything, just giving a little incite. We all want that title, whether we want it now, or later down the line, we will all fight just as hard to get it since we are in the match this week. You and Megan are a great team, you know how she works, and she knows how you work, so wouldn't it be easier for you to take one another out, after all... you both know how much of a challenge the other can really be in the end. Time is ticking Tee, and you have yet to speak up, if you want to be taken seriously in this match, then the time to talk is now. Not saying I will not be looking for you in the ring, because I know in the end I will be meeting each and every one of you, but do you want to just sit back and let everyone else do all the talking?! I don't think you have it in you to do such. Time will tell, and this Sunday, when we are all in the ring with one another, hell will break lose.... time to prepare for the fun that awaits us.”
Kaylyn stood up to turn the camera off but was pulled back to the ground as Chris wrapped his arms around her waist and dropped back. She laughed as he went to stand up to head towards the camera, one last chance, she spoke again.
“The title is on the line, and we all want it... now, to see who leaves with it in their hands is the thing we have to wait for. See you all really soon... and Sunday... well it can't come soon enough!”
Seconds later the camera was turned off, and a video package followed showing the fans just what was in store for them this weekend at ACW Revolution!

Kaylyn smirked before she broke out in laughter from her little, spur of the moment burst. Chris on the other hand had an even bigger smirk on his face.
