Funny you mentioned that... 3-4-09

On the outside, it looked like any other building around. Stone, square, and a sign stating the name of the place. The camera man would pull off of the main road, Roosevelt blvd. and into the parking lot of The Olive Garden . He was early but that would give him time to set up before Kelsia would be out to speak with him. For now he would just sit in his black van, with the logo ACW written across the sides, and his phone would be to his ear as he was in the midst of conversation with someone.
Inside the restaurant, and past the servers and other patrons would be Kelsia and company in a table at the back of the room. One person that would be recognized would be Tony Black, a personal friend of hers, amongst the rest of the group. A celebration of some sort seemed to be taking place. The attire, of everyone, seemed to be of the formal nature. Kelsia sitting there in a black dress that cut off just above her knees, and shoes to match. Her hair was worn in an up do for the event at hand, with strands coming down on either side of her face in the form of curls.
Laughter was filling the room as one of the other ladies at the table were speaking of things that had been going on recently in her life. The waiter coming over to them to see if they were ready to order was the only thing that stopped them at the moment. As the others were putting in their order she opened her purse and pulled out her phone seeing the time stamped on the front. Placing her phone back in her bag she looked to the waiter and put her own order in. As the waiter retreated to place the order for their table to the chef Kelsia looked to the rest and smiled softly.
"It seems the time has been flying by. I need to step outside and handle a few things before I return."
Everyone had known what she was speaking of, seeing the topic had come up earlier in their conversation. Tony stood up to let her by as she made her way from the table. Being the person he was he wanted to keep an eye on her while she came to give apromo to the other ladies in her upcoming match, so he escorted her outside the premises. A smoke for him was in order anyway, so he could get to that while she did her thing. Of course he wanted to make sure she did not step out of line either, because he knew her well, and she always could have a way with words.
Stepping outside the building she was glad it was a warm afternoon. Giving a nod to Tony, before shaking her head as he went and lit up acigarette .
"You know how bad they are for you?"
She moved towards the side of the building where the camera was all set up, and ready to go once she was. She stood there thinking for a moment trying to figure out who to start with. Having her mind made up she nodded to the camera man and he began to roll the feed.
A bench was against the wall for those having to wait to be seated, but no one was there so, Kelsia moved over towards it taking a seat and crossing her feet at the ankle, her hands came to rest on her lap. She was staring at the ground and slowly she began to speak.
"I have been thinking of what else I could really say to the both of you. To let you both know that I am not playing games here. That I plan on brining my all, and then some, this Sunday. It seems to me, however, that no matter what I say, you are not going to take me seriously."
She shifted slightly on the bench, seeming like she was uncomfortable at the moment and she stopped speaking all together. Rising slowly she started to walk away, it seemed as if she was done and had nothing more to say. Heading back towards the front door where Tony was standing, she paused and seemingly took a deep breath. Exhaling slowly she turned back towards the camera once more and made her way back to her original position by the bench. Another deep breath was taken, and you could see her chest rise and then come to fall as she exhaled again.
"Alexa, let's get one thing straight here. I never said that my main goal was to go after Aurelei for the title. If that is what you got out of it then maybe you should get your ears checked. Yes in due time I plan on going after the title and whomever has it. I don't care if the pope himself happened to have gotten it somehow."
"You see, each of you keep twisting my words around. If you are trying to get me to lose it, you are not doing a very good job. I am ready for this match. I am ready to come in there and give it my all and then some. Ready to show you both, and everyone else in the back that I do belong here. "
"So I lost a match. It happens, I am learning from it which you will both come to see this Sunday. You want to sit back and relax thinking its nothing then more power to you. I tell you this though, you will be in shock this Sunday when you get in the ring. Let's not forget here ladies, there are three of us. All it takes is for one of us to get the pin. If you ladies are not going to take me seriously as a challenger, an opponent to the both of you, then I might just sneak away with the win."
"Oh yea, Alexa, dear, do me a favor? Just stop talking. That would be your best bet. You are so stuck on me wanting a title shot. I never said it was that important. My focus right now is this Sunday, coming into the ring with the two of you, and walking out a winner. You see, I mentioned you might thinking you had me all figured out in a match just to realize that something was different. It's not called holding anything back dear, nor is it 'ever changing' as you put it. It's called learning new things. Staying on top of my game and on top of my opponents as well. You should try it some time. It might do you a little good!"
Her tone was changing drastically as she continued. Rising and falling, only to rise once more. She was tired of being treated as the new girl. Robin had shut her up last week but this week was a different story and she would be damned to let the same thing happen again. Her blood was coursing through her veins, steamed up, as if she was ready to blow. And to think, she didn't even get to Aurelei yet.
Hands came to her head, on either side, looking to be pressed into her skin deeply. Her eyes closed once more as she seemed to be controlling herself. There was a side to Kelsia that no one in ACW had seen and she was hoping it would never come out. It was always easier to be a face then to go about running ones mouth every two seconds for something or another.
Her eyes seemed to have gotten a distant look, a deathly look. When she came to speak again her words were low, and eerie to a degree.
"If there is one thing I hate, it's to hear someone telling me what they think is best for me. You think Tony being my manager would be a good thing? You have no idea what you are speaking of when you say that. I told Tony I did not want to accept him on his offer. Trust me, it's better that way."
Tony had been listening to the whole thing. Yes he was turned down by Kelsia, and not only once either. He had been asking her from day one but she was determined to get herself off the ground, so to speak, on her own. Would he stop asking? Not likely, that's just who he was, and Kelsia knew that all too well. He finished off his cigarette and tossed the butt to the side. Leaning against the wall he listened further to what Kelsia was saying. He could see she was letting her temper rise but she still had it under control to a degree.
Kelsia, in the mean time, had been calming herself down. The camera was focused on her still and it just looked like she was lost in though once more. After some time she blinked twice before shaking her head lightly to get herself back on track to the task at hand.
"Aurelei, you mentioned me sounding defensive, and maybe even vindictive the last time I spoke out to you both. That is true, you were not mistaken. As I have stated, Alexa and yourself are seeming to think me out of my league in a sense. Before you say anything on that matter, I know those words never came from your mouth nor hers, but it's there if you read through the lines. Seeing you seen me being defensive and vindictive, I know you can read through the lines pretty well."
"As with most people, who you are in the ring and who you are outside of the ring are two different things in its entirety. I am not a grade school child, nor am I in high school still, therefore, I think those lessons should remain else where. They are not needed here. I have a switch as well, it can be turned on and off at will, when I see someone not thinking of me as a challenge, thinking of me as a weak link, of course my switch is going to be turned on. Should I just sit back and say nothing about it? I think it is best to confront issues. Get them out in the open, deal with them first hand instead of hiding them and letting them build up. You know what happens when things build up? Eventually, when something is built up too high, it will come to fall sooner or later. Why let something build right here and now if it does not have to? If you have a problem with me getting it all out then just settle it, in the ring, this Sunday."
"I don't worry about going into the ring and being defeated so bad that I am out for a while, or injured deeply. Sticks and stones may hurt right? Bones heal and bruises fade. Pain is nothing, everyone comes into pain throughout their life time. It a matter of sucking it up and moving forward that some have problems dealing with. Myself? I can deal with pain. Pain from a match means it was one hell of a match. If anyone here in ACW is not gamed for some pain, then they should not really be here now should they?"
"Trust me, your words are nothing of a threat to me. It takes much more then that to get me feared. A lot more for that matter. So don't you worry your pretty little head about scaring me away from the ring. Oh no dear, that's not going to happen."
Going to the purse which was over her shoulder she opened it up and looked to her phone once more. The time was going by and she knew she needed to get back inside soon. Seems like time flew by when one was having... 'fun'? Her phone came to fall from her digits and back into her purse before she zipped it back up and turned to face the camera once more.
"I see you also mention me wanting a shot at your beloved title. Who would not want a chance to be a Champion? In my personal opinion everyone would want that chance. I am not selling my soul for a shot at your belt. Like I said more then once. I plan on going for the title, whether you have it or not. Just because I mentioned the thing does not mean I am coming for it right now."
"I will be coming to the show on Sunday, and not with a cocky persona about me. No I will be coming into the ring as I am not. I will come face to face with both of you ladies and we will find out for sure who is talking -ACW forced Censor- and who is not. "
It was not something that had been heard from Kelsia before. Cursing was one thing she didn't do often. Even Tony stepped back with that one. His brow raised as he looked over towards her wondering if she was going to go on or if she was done. From the looks of it she was not done and who knew when she would be at that.
"You know what I find entertaining about both of your promos?"
She chuckled and cute herself short before staring right into the camera once more.
"Both of you felt the need to mention the word forewarned. That is quite entertaining. It make's me feel like I am being mocked actually. Forewarned.. Ha, cute. You both had to say it to. It amazes me. You know, it makes me think you don't have a mind of your own. Neither of you. But hey, whatever floats your boat."
"It defiantly feels like this will be one hell of a match. I am going against the women's champion and the number one contender. I couldn't ask for a better match. This match will be good. If it's not, then we are going to have a problem here. Hell, I would not be surprised if this match tops the rest of them this Sunday."
It looked like she was about to walk off but she stopped suddenly and looked towards the camera once more.
"Here is the thing. I am not holding back. I am bringing it all this Sunday. There is nothing else needing to be said. That is the bottom line. End of discussion."
With that being said she turned from the camera and walked back towards the entrance of the restaurant where Tony was waiting. She smiled to him and they headed into the building and the feed cut. The ACW logo would appear in the center of the screen before fading away once more to a black screen.
