he last thing she wanted to do was not spend time with her family this week, but it was also something she did not want to do because Tony and Adrean were always there for dinner. Getting in the truck she made the drive to Eddystone Pa to her parents place. To her understanding everyone else was already there… who everyone consisted of she did not know and her brother Lance would not give her that much information over the phone. Pulling up outside the house she turned the ignition off before sitting there. She was not ready to get out of the truck just yet. Something told her that Adrean and Tony were here. Looking along the block she did not see their car, and that much was a good sign, but at the same time they would have pulled some shadiness and had her brother pick them up just to trick her.

Her phone went off and she reached into the side council for it. Seeing it was her brother calling she hit the button on the side of the phone sending the call to voicemail. She was not ready for this. She had too much to worry about with her upcoming match and already there was plenty on her mind. More on her mind would not help the matter any. Her head came forward and hit the steering wheel which was not a smart move on her part seeing she still had the concussion thing going on.

Lifting her head up she went and grabbed the door handle opening it up and making sure her phone was still in her hand she got out of the truck. Leaning over she pulled the keys out of the ignition and clipped them to her jeans before stepping back and closing the truck door. Walking up to the steps she must have been heard or seen through the window because her mother came to the door to greet her.

Standing at 5’6” with brown locks was her mother. A slender women in her own but not as slim as Kelsia was and a smile to kill. Her mother was in a black dress that made her seem smaller then she was. Black heels complimented it and she looked good. Kelsia walked up and hugged her mother but said nothing, and her mother understood completely.

“It’s okay dear. I know what you are going through. Come in and enjoy a meal, lord knows you need a good one. Looks like you have not eaten in day’s child.”

“I have not, that’s why. I have too much going on to worry about that momma. Honestly, I don’t even want to be here right now, but I promised I would, so I am here.”

Her mother nodded and ushered her into the house before closing the door. A camera man was already there and filming everything. Seeing the camera Kelsia sighed and walked past it looking around the living room. The arrangement was modern, as it was her parents place. A couch sitting along the wall, and a table on either side of it, as well as a love seat placed just accordingly. Kelsia herself never liked the taste her parents had, but luckily, she did not live with them anymore so she did not have to worry about it often. Her dad was in the dining room setting the table and as she looked around she noticed that her brothers were all missing.

“Ma, where are they?” She asked and her mother knew who she was referring too. “Down stairs shooting a game of pool dear, why don’t you go and join them?”

A shake of her head changed into a nod as she seen her mothers expression which was telling her to go down and get it over with. Going into the kitchen she opened a door and headed down the stairs, the camera following her would catch that she was wearing a logoed shirt, but this was not the normal KTA shirt. A plain white shirt on the front, but the back had the words Kelsia Vector written across it. Nothing about Tony or Adrean…what could that mean?

As she hit the ground coming off the last step she looked around and if it was not for the camera man being behind her she would have headed right up the stairs once more. This would be the first time she had seen Tony and Adrean since they drove her home from the hospital. Both were standing there with a pool stick in hand. It seemed there was a two on two games going on and Lance, being the one not playing right now, walked over to her and pulled her into a hug. “It’s okay. Please Kelsia; you all need to settle this.”

She moved back from his hug and step back until she bumped the wall and had no where else to go. Her voice came from her and it was loud enough for them all to hear. “You want me to just let it all go? They betrayed me Lance. As far as I am concerned, they are nothing to me anymore. I am done with them.” As soon as the words left her she pushed past the camera man and headed up the stairs once more. The camera turned to focus on Tony and Adrean who were both in shock from her words. Both were bruised and battered, and it seemed like Adrean had a broken nose, Tony did not look that well himself either though.

The camera turned off as the camera man headed up the stairs. He had asked where Kelsia had gone and was told she went upstairs to her old room. She would be there if he wanted to go up and get his work done, so that is what he did. Heading up the stairs he found a door opened and turned the camera back on as he walked towards it. Kelsia was there sitting on a twin sized bed. Pink silk sheets covered the mattress and a matching comforter was over it. Her back was leaned against the wall and she did not even notice the camera was there. She was speaking and he caught her in the middle of a sentence.

“…damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. As if I don’t have enough to worry about now they are all trying to play mediator. I can’t take this right now. I have Aurora to worry about. I have training to continue. Aurora is a great competitor in this company and they know it will take everything I have to be able to pull a win off right here and now this Sunday, but they don’t even seem to care. All they want is for me to clear things with two back stabbing weasels. I know just what Aurora is going through this week. Not to the fullest extent, but I have a good idea. The last thing anyone wants or needs when coming into a match is worrying about everything else going on around them. It seemed like it was easy for Aurora to just push it all aside, and wrap it up in a pretty little box.”

Kelsia took a deep breath and let her head fall to the pillow that was lying on the mattress. She could fall asleep right here and now, but she was going to clear her head in the process of doing such. A small pink bear was lying on her bed and she picked it up holding it into the air.

“I don’t even know why I kept this so long. It means nothing to me now.” She tossed the bear aside. The first gift ever given to her, it was from Tony and Adrean and she got it when she was about five. She watched as it rolled off the bed and to the floor. Then her eyes came to close.

“Aurora is right, what more can be said? She was good to question if I will remain how I have been these last few weeks. Even I do not know that answer. Hell I have had bipolar moments for some time now it seems. For all I know it will do another flip on me and BAM, there goes the angered Kelsia once more. At least she knows how much I am trying to change. She sees that Adrean and Tony’s actions have nothing to do with me. Hopefully that fact remains. I should have never let them be by my side, and after recent events, I regret letting them come to help me. She thinks’ I don’t care about her opinion on the matter. She is so wrong in that fact. I do care. It is nice to hear that someone believes me. If only it was that easy to make others see things. As well as Aurora seeing how much I need to win this week. Winning a match of this caliber without Tony and Adrean around, it would show everyone that I can do things on my own. All my life my brothers were there for me, as were my so called boys. I don’t need anyone there for me. All I need is me.”

Eyes still closed Kelsia turned so she was now lying on her back. Her legs lifted enough for her to pull the comforter down from under her and over her instead. Once she was covered she felt a bit better. Sad how she felt the safest, when she was alone.

“Nothing will make a difference come Sunday. How wrong she is. Everything will make a difference. Every move either of us makes will be the difference in getting the upper hand in the match. All we have to do is under estimate the other for a second and that could be it. Claims she has faith in me getting the title eventually, and that much I appreciate, but she does not under stand that as much as she needs to keep it, I need to have it. She said she has a gift for me this Sunday, and she wants’ to know if I will open it nicely or just tear it apart. I take time with everything I do. She wants me to fold the ribbon back nicely after it’s taken off, that is no problem. Take the wrapping off the box just as gently, making sure not to tear at all. It can and will all be done. No matter what the gift, it will not be enough though. I am ready for this, I am ready to take Aurora on, and come out of the match on top.”

Kelsia’s words became softer, and lower as she started to drift off into a sleep, still she had no idea the camera was even on her. Under the blanket you could see her moving still after she turned over to face the wall. The pillow was pulled down so she was still with her head on it, but just barely as most of it was being held in her hands, holding onto it tightly as if it comforted her. Her body curled up into a ball under the comforter and her breathing was seen slightly through it. She seemed to be at peace, if only for now. Who knew how long it would last. It seemed she just wanted to sleep through the day, so she would not have to deal with anything else. The last thing she wanted to do was deal with Tony and Adrean right now. She had told Roric she would take care of them and she was sure she would, but not now. She needed time to herself still. Everything was quiet, even anything that was going on down stairs was not heard. As the camera zoomed into the almost fully sleeping Kelsia the walls around her bed would be seen. Pictures of all sorts were on them. Kelsia and her brothers and boys as they were growing up would be seen. Two pictures side by side were Kelsia and Tony at what seemed to be the Senior and Junior Proms for Kelsia.

Above it was Tony’s Junior and senior prom and both were of her and him as well. A different dress and tuxedo were seen in each picture. To the right of them were another two pictures of a prom… Adrean and Kelsia were in them. It seemed she did in fact grow up extremely close with them. Many group pictures were around as well. Kelsia and the boys along with her brothers on many outings would be seen. Baseball games, football games, concerts, and the whole enchilada, were all there.

Her voice came forth once more. “Aurora thinks it’s good to have a support system. It is not a bad thing, but when the support system turns on you, it can be the worst thing ever. It is one thing to have people you can trust, but it is another thing completely when everyone you trusted turns their backs on you. My brothers are there for me, but they are there for Tony and Adrean too. They want everything to be well once more but that can’t come to be so easily. I don’t need anyone to pick me up when I am down.”

Her breathing slowed as she drifted off. She really did seem at peace now more then ever. Comfort, ease, everything that would not be there come Sunday seemed to be there now.
A murmur was heard before the words came out clear in her sleep.

“I don’t want anyone to pick me up if I am down this Sunday. I would rather be down and get up alone, then to have Tony or Adrean show their faces around me. I will be ready Aurora…. I know I will be.”

At that the words stopped and it was clear she was in a deep sleep. The camera man raised the camera to the photos once more and zoomed into a single photo. Kelsia standing with Tony and Adrean on either side of her, all of them smiling for the camera. As the camera panned out other photos around it would be seen. All containing the members of KTA. After a moment the camera feed ended and the ACW logo would show on the screen.
