Ride of your Life. 4-8-09

It had always been a tradition in her family to get together on Sundays, but with everything that she was doing anymore, and with shows being on Sundays they changed that to Tuesday Nights instead. Her mother and father stopped by early to start cooking so she could spend some time with her brothers. Being the only girl, and the youngest child at that, had toughened her up over the years; after all no brother wants to see his sister being hurt.
Kelsia and her three brothers, along with Tony, Adrean andRyan Stevens, since he did not live that far away, were at the field having a small game of baseball going on. Kelsia was pitching at the moment and sent the ball straight down the center, and Donta, her eldest brother, had stroked out. She laughed looking over at him before you would hear her voice. “What’s wrong didn’t think I still had it in me?” Her brother looked back at her laughing before shaking his head and moving aside so Adrean could try his luck.
The first ball came by and it was just that, ball one. Kelsia got the baseball back and looked to the one behind Adrean; in this case it was Tony. Kelsia nodded to him letting him know she understood what he was calling for before sending the base ball from her hand, after twisting her body at the waist, and sending a curve ball straight down the center, Strike one for him. Tony threw the ball back to her and she prepared for a high ball now, before sending that straight down as well. Adrean hit it and it went sailing over her head. She turned around as she watched Anthony and Lance running for it. But they did not happen to catch it, instead they threw it back to her, and she caught it, but Adrean made it safely to second base.
“Alright Steven’s lets see what you have.” She through the ball once, twice, and it was two strikes from the beginning. Kelsia had a smirk on her face, but for some reason Stevens did as well. Kelsia rounded up, pitched, and the bat collided with the ball sending it to the fence. Stevens and Adrean both made a run for it, and the ball was sent back to Kelsia. She had seen Stevens just making it home then. Kelsia dropped the ball and glove to the mount before speaking. “Nice hit. Okay let’s take a break; the camera is here so I have some business to take care of. Enjoy boys.”
Kelsia brushed off her grey sweatpants as she walked off the pitchers mount and towards the side lines, between third base and home plate. Spreading her legs apart slightly, with her back away from the camera, she bent over grabbing her ankles to stretch out, before moving side to side, by bending her knee to stretch her thighs out. A whistle came from the side where all the boys were having their guy talk but she ignored it, for now.
Her black T-shirt was tight fitting which helped not to show anything off as she had bentforward , though her mid-drift was bare but that was the cut of the shirt. Her ‘tramp stamp’ as the lower back tattoos were called anymore, was showing but that was nothing to her. She straightened up once more before taking a deep breath and coming to speak, though not talking to the camera directly. As she rarely did that anymore.
“Aurora, it seems that this week it will be I coming to face you one on one in that square circle that we all love getting into each and every week.” Her hand came to her chin, four fingers on one side, and thumb on the other before brushing down to meet then her hand dropped once more. “You seem to ask me to push other matters aside. I have no problem doing that. I can handle that, so don’t bring it up again. As long as we have an understanding there then there will be no problems.”
Kelsia seemed to look down to the ground, thinking she was, of what it was that Aurora had to say during her promo that Kelsia had watched not so long ago. Her mouth seemed to move ever so slightly, which it was, as she was chewing on a piece of gum. That sugary sweetness running through here mouth and down her throat with every swallow of saliva that would come to gather.
“You talk about Albany New York once belonging to the French, I am sorry to burst your little bubble but I do not need to hear these little facts. They mean absolutely nothing when it comes to you and I in the ring. The only thing I need to hear from you was already said, you will bring your all in the ring. There you go; you could have stopped right then and there. You see Aurora, I noticed that you are stepping up in this business, and quickly, and there is nothing wrong with that, but I find you to be a hypocrite.” Kelsia looked up towards the camera, with a dead stare, a dark look in her eyes. “Aurora, you call yourself a heel in this business, I want to laugh at you every time I think of you being a heel. You give us all a bad name, sounding so sweet in your promos, talking about beingfriends with your opponents. Aurora, Ghost, whatever the hell you want to be called, and you give all of us heels a bad look. We are not the ones who go around looking for friends, like Frenzy showed my opponents last week, we are the ones who make an impact, and we destroy.”
Kelsia got a sick look on her face, a twisted look as if she was thinking of something that was bringing her pleasure, yet, bringing someone else tortured pain. Her hands were in front of her palm to palm as she rubbed them back and forth against one another. “Have no fear Aurora; I have not forgotten our time in the ring. I remember it quite clearly actually. The last thing that happened, was you hitting me with the Dreamcatcher, I kicked out, then rolled you up, and got the pin. I can see why you would find that match to be, inadequate for true satisfaction. I however found that night to be very enjoyable, and satisfactory.” She started laughing evilly, before stopping once more to talk in her harsh tone she had this whole time. “You want to push me, to test me, feel free; I can not promise you will like what you get though. I will not be bringing you ‘gifts’ as you like to call them, I will be bringing you a match that you will never forget though. That is neither a promise nor a threat so don’t take it as either.”
Kelsia ran her hand through her hair once before sliding it down her neck and letting it drop back down to her side. “I am sorry that you think you deserve a shot from behind, or a backstage brawl at that, Aurora dear, you are not that special. Only one person is special enough for that. You will get everything I have to offer in the ring just like you are asking for, but like I said, you will not like it. As you have come to see I have no problem what so ever delivering and taking blood from my opponents. What is one more person’s blood on my hands? It is just that, more blood on my hands, one more person that I have opened up and left with a mark that will be there for some time for them to remember me by. Then again, it does not seem that I need to do that, because if I recall correctly, there are many in the ACW that can’t seem to stop themselves from mentioning me in their promos. It is quite sickening. If you were smart Aurora, you would get it all out now, while we have a match coming up, then keep my name from your mouth until we face each other again, which we will in time.” Kelsia rotated her arm around a few times, stretching it out to make sure she was good for the next inning. “I am not afraid of any fall, but I doubt that you will take me over the edge. Bring your best, and I will do the same. I do not doubt that you might get the win after all; you pulled out an impressive one last week. Don’t let that get to your head. You might win this match this week, as I might too, but you will defiantly not be taking me over the edge, I am sure of that, nice of you to think so though.”
“Why I want that title is none of your business really Aurora. You don’t worry about that that is my information; it has nothing to do with you. Keep it that way, because if you worry yourself about my intentions of wanting that belt around my waist it will not do you any good. You leave me to worry about that and you worry about what youthink you will try to do to me this Sunday.” She emphasized the words think and try and as she said them she had that evil smile on her face. “And why you are busy worry about that, I will be getting things together and taking you out to once more, become the number one contender and this time, get what I want out of it.”
“Whether you were to slight me for my skills or not would mean absolutely nothing to me Aurora. See, you seem to think that I care what anyone says, or thinks, about me. That’s where you are wrong. I could care less. I am a backstabber, I am a B*tch and so much more, but more then that, I am not one to step down, or not try my best, to take someone out, in any way, shape, or form. Remember that when we step into the ring.” Kelsia turned back looking at the boys, who had stopped talking and were listening to everything she was saying now, she shook her head before smiling and turning back towards the camera once more. “Them back there Aurora, my brothers that is, they are the reason I first stepped into the ring. They are the ones who got me into wrestling in the first place, but that is another story. You want me to think of them, then that is fine and dandy, but let me tell you this, anything that you bring to me, they have done so much more, and I have learned how to prevail. So try, and try hard.”
She rolled her head stretching her neck muscles out before speaking once more. “You think I was pure at one point? You are wrong. I came into the business wanting to get to the top, I have had my downs, and my feuds have started, but a B*tch I am and a B*tch I will always be. There is, and never was, anything pure about me, and there never will be for that matter.” She put her hands to her head fingers coming to grip up her hair before she released it. “You think you can get into my head, haunt my dreams. I beg you to try, because that will be the first thing you come to fail in. But this Sunday, I will bring my all, I will step into that ring and take you on one hell of a ride, it might just be the ride of your life. There are fans out there who will be watching our match and wondering what will happen, the one thing they know, is that they will see me and all of me. What they will be wondering is when you will stand up and be the hell that you claim to be. If you continue to be all goodie good then you might as well start talking to your little ‘friends’ more often.” She paused for a moment. “Aurora…. I am not talking about the friends that haunt you, I am talking about the losers in the back, Reign of Fire and their b*tches. You stick with them. I think you will do better there, because the real heels in this business will eat you up and think nothing of it.”
“You talk about no barriers, no hesitation and no restraints, remember that when you are in the ring with me.”
She turned back around waving the guys back to the field as she left the spot she was standing in and headed up to bat. Grabbing the wooden bat she gripped it into her hands and as Donta pitched the ball she cracked it with the bat before making it to first base, and staying as the ball was heading back to Donta once more after Adrean threw it back to him. She looked over to Anthony as he came up to bat and smiled to her younger of the three brothers. He grabbed the bat and as the call came towards him he did not swing letting it go to Tony before Tony tossed it back. Kelsia took a few steps off first base and as Donta released the ball once more Kelsia took off stealing Second base as Anthony once more did not hit the ball but let it go by. By the time Donta had the ball back it was too late, Kelsia was safe.
Another pitch was made, and Anthony swung sending the ball on the ground past everyone. Kelsia took off once more and made it to third base, before looking over her shoulder and seeing them with the ball she stopped once more.
Lance was up to bat. He held the bat firm and when the ball came at him he hit it sending it up and past them all, Adrean and Ryan Stevens running for it. Kelsia was about to take off but seeing Stevens getting under the ball she stayed where she was not wanting an out. Kelsia was up to bat once more, so even though she was on third base she had to take her shot. Tony called man on third as Kelsia headed back to bat once more. . . As she passed by the camera she spoke once more.
“See that Aurora, just like I stole second base, just like I stole the first win for Number one Contender from you. I will do the same this Sunday, so be prepared for it.”
Kelsia headed up to Home Plate once more to bat and as she picked up a bat she swung it a few times before standing in place letting Donta know she was ready. He pitched the ball, it was coming at her, she swung, and the camera stopped the feed before you could see if she hit the ball or not. The ACW logo was all that the viewers would see on the screen.
