Things seemed to have turned around greatly when it came to herself and Roric and them teaming together in this match. After a few drinks she made it up to her room leaving her partner alone for the remainder of the evening, after all they both needed to wind down, relax and prepare. Laying in bed she tried everything she could to get some rest, but that was not happening. So much was on her mind, and she knew she could not deal with it right now. She made a promise that she would keep Adrean and Tony out of it this week and so far she had, she was not about to turn now. Her phone had been going off all week, both calls and texts, that she either ignored, or did not respond to. Voicemail's were checked, as were texts but she did not return anything to them. Looking at her phone she noticed there were more of both sitting there waiting to be heard, and read. Sitting up in the bed she pulled the blanket around her waist as she leaned back on the head board. Listening to the messages, then reading the text's she found herself an emotional mess, something she never showed to anyone. Her legs rose under the blanket, her feet planting themselves on the bed right in front of her as her knees went to her chest. Arms came to wrap around her legs tightly and her head came to rest face down on her knees.

How long she actually sat there like that she did not even know. The sound of her phone going off was the only thing that caused her to move. Looking at the phone she seen it was a call she wanted to answer, but at the same time was forcing herself not to. After fighting the battle within the sound of nothing helped her to go at ease once more. She had forgotten all about allowing a camera to be set in her room incase she had anything to say while there, and therefore had no idea everything was being recorded right now. A beep on her phone let her know a voicemail was left, but she didn't want to check it, not yet. Her arms came from hugging her legs and she was leaning over to turn out the light when her phone went off once more. Seeing the call was from her brother, she was wanting to answer it, at least she could find out through him how bad things were. Leaving the phone on the bed she pressed the speaker button and found her hands going to cradle her legs once more to her body. "Donta." She said softly, but he was able to hear her.

"Kels, what's going on? You know they just want to make sure you are okay." He was obviously referring to Tony and Adrean and the calls they had been making. She turned her head to the side and her cheek came to press upon her knees as she began to speak. "Listen, I know they care, I know they want to make sure I am okay, and I am. They need to realize something too. I need to do this on my own. I want to do this on my own. Its not about them, this is about me. I got myself into this situation, and look what happened to them when they had my back two weeks ago! I can not let something like that happen again. They need to realize that they will not always be around to save me. I am making them realize that this week. They know how I feel about everyone involved in this match, but I am not backing out, I am not hiding behind them. I have stepped up and pushed them away to prove not only to myself, but to them as well, that I can do this on my own." She stopped for a moment as she voice was getting shaky and her hand came to brush across her face under her eyes wiping what was most likely tears away. "I have pushed myself hard this week, in more ways then one. I have let my dislike of Roric not get in the way of working with him in this match. I pushed it all aside, and pretty much became a new if even for only this week. I am doing what I have to do to survive here. I am the one that stepped on others toes. I am the one that turned on Aurora, I am the one that ran my mouth off to Snake... so I am the one that will deal with the repercussions for my actions. I know they want to be here for me, but the best thing they can do is trust me to be able to get through this on my own. They need to believe I can do it without them." As she stopped once more trying to calm herself so she would not get to the point where she could not take it anymore Donta went and chimed in.

"Kelsia, no one is doubting you, You have to think of what you are up against here. You have Snake and Aurora as opponents, and Roric as a partner... How can you not see the problem with all that?"

Kelsia sat up leaning against the headboard once more and tried to remain calm but she could tell it was not going to work. "Donta, look. You all might not understand it, but I trust Roric being in my corner. DONT! She stated quickly as she heard her brother about to say something to what she had just said. "You don't think I didn't take Snake's words into consideration when he said I could not trust Roric, and that Roric was probably feeding me bullsh*t advice on how to get around Aurora? You don't think I have pondered over and over again about how much Damage Roric could do to me in this match and just leave me to them so he is scot free of harms way and he is one hundred percent for his one-on-one with Snake? I thought about it all, and you know what conclusion I came to? I was wrong about him, from day one I was. Its my fault the hostility is there, and I will deal with that, but over all, Roric is a good person. I was forced to work with him this week, and from it I see how he is, yes its just a few hours around him, but it was enough to know that I can and will trust him fully this week. Am I saying that I will be best friends with him now, not at all. But my words are what caused most of his problems, and its my fault he is going through some of what he is dealing with. For that much, I am ...." She let that sentence just hang in the air not able to finish it herself. "Bottom line is this. Roric I have nothing to worry about. Snake and Aurora, yes they are something else completely, a different story all together. But I know my partner will have my back, and I think he knows I will have his as well."

"Okay, Roric will not be a problem... but what about Snake and Aurora? You just said they are a different story. Snake wants to hurt you, as does Aurora. What are you going to do?"

Kelsia slid from behind the blanket that was covering her and one leg came across the bed to have the foot rest on the floor before the other followed suit and she walked over to the window looking out across the outside of the hotel. Her voice was soft, but it was all audible for both the camera and her brother to hear. "What am I going to do? I am going to go out there and face them both in the ring. I do not doubt for a moment that I will wind up in the ring with Snake. I will face him if I can not get to Roric. I refuse to back down. Donta must have had her on speaker on his end as well, because all of a sudden another voice cut in. "Kels, you can't do that! Facing Snake, are you serious? I don't even know why you signed the contract for this match, you did not have to put yourself in this position. Of course Adrean was not the only one who was there and had something to say, that much was apparent as Tony's voice came through. "I don't know what you are trying to prove here, but you are not doing this alone Kels. We will be there for you. I guarantee you that." Before he could say anything else Kelsia went and pressed a button on her phone ending the call. She looked down at the phone and shook her head before speaking in a firm tone that showed how serious she was. "I'm sorry boys, but I am sure you will not be there. Security will make sure you don't get into the building." She picked up the phone and held it tight in her hands "Roric is the only backup I need." Putting the phone on the bedside table she turned off the light which caused the feed to go black, as she laid down to finally get rest as she finally cleared her head.

Hours had gone by and now Kelsia was standing in the arena, but she was not alone. No Roric was not by her side, but a man dressed in all black from the back. As the camera turned on it caught sight of the man sprinkling everything within the arena, from the looks of it he went to every locker room and now he was in the middle of the ring. "Good morning Dear Heart. I hope you slept well. I see you have been busy with Cynthia so far. Let me get right down to it. I pointed out how you got that belt of yours, but I never once said that you could not have done it without the help. I know you are a great competitor, why else would I have been training so hard this week? I believe you can beat anyone in this company if you set your mind to it. Just as I believe I can do the same thing." She stopped for a minute and went into her pocket reaching for her phone. After pulling it out she set it up to play something before turning her phone towards the camera. [Color=purple] "Why don't you look and see just how prepared I am."She pressed play and the footage that a camera man happened to catch of her and Roric at the bar the night before played.

Usually, Roric preferred his beer out of a bottle, but there were some kinds that just...demanded to be taken from a frosted mug...so there you had it. The hotel bar was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night, probably due to some event in town, so it was peaceful enough to allow a little last-minute strategy session. With Kelsia sitting next to him, the camera catching sight of them from behind, Roric went over a few last-minute details...or that's how it appeared at least. Their voices weren't picked up on just yet. By the time the camera got in range, Roric had apparently finished his point and asked, "...and with that, we can handle anything they throw at us along as we keep our eyes on the action. But please...give me your input, too. It's not just one of our asses on the line, after all." He actually sounded cordial, taking a sip of the dark amber liquid in the mug in front of him with a satisfying exhale.

Kelsia had lifted her glass to her lips, she was not much a beer person but that did not mean a double shot would not do the trick. Putting the now empty glass down she had not even been paying mind to the camera that snuck up on them. "I agree fully. If you ask me, we are ready for this match. I honestly could not have gotten a better partner in it all. If anyone had to be in my corner this week, I am glad it is you. You pushed me further then I push myself even. I'm more confident about this match then almost any other I have gone into." Kelsia rested her hands on the counter as she looked over at Roric while he replied. "Confidence wins matches when it's controlled, and you seem to have yours well in hand. We can't ignore the fact that plans can and do go awry, but that's why they created contingencies. The advantage rests with us this time around."

"I have confidence in the match, but like you said, its controlled. After all, I know some way or another I am going to end up in the ring with both of our opponents, as will you. But no matter what, we will get through it fine." Her tone seemed quite pleasant and did not falter at all. As did his own...conversational and calm without a lick of strain. Of course, they shouldn't have been expected to be skipping in the rain together or some foolishness like that...but one night of cohesive action and being 'on the same page' wasn't too much to ask. At least...they didn't seem to think so. "That we will. Then you can concentrate on your title match at Trial by Honor...and I can concentrate on mine..."

"That we shall, after all, we will all be going to Trial by Honor, whether our opponents like to face that fact or not." Kelsia motioned for the bartender to get another round. As the double was brought over to her she threw some cash on the bar to cover that, as well as the cup placed in front of Roric. Downing the double she stood up. "See you for one last session before Sunday then?"She asked as she was ready to part so he could handle his business, and she could handle her own. "Absolutely. Cardio and stamina work, then a few more go-through's on the in-ring portion. I don't want us under the weather when Sunday rolls around, so keeping to that would be helpful. Just make sure you take care out there handling your business." Roric lifted the half-full mug towards her before taking a shallow sip. "Of course, you do the same. I don't want either of us unable to give it our all in the ring. See you later then Roric." With a smile and a small wave she headed away from him, possibly to go and handle her own business with their opponents. "Of course. See you in the morning." With his own slight smile and wave, he turned back to the bar. Was that a look of contentment on the man's face, or simple satisfaction? Whatever it was, he seemed more than ready for Sunday...in the mind set to achieve victory.

Kelsia turned the phone off and placed it back in her pocket before looking to the camera once more. "I don't know about you Aurora, but I think Roric and I are doing just fine. We are both prepared, and just to make sure, he will be meeting me here to go through a last run. I have no worries in this match."

"On another note, you did mention a priest. I have gone to see one, but not for myself Dear Heart. As you can see behind me, Father Patrick is blessing the ring, as he did the rest of the building already. I showed him a few things, and he agreed that he would try his best to help you out. I know Rich is your friend, but he needs to move on. Father Patrick will do his best to help in that regard."
Kelsia had a smirk on her face because she knew she was getting under Aurora's skin, and for sure when she seen this, she would not be calm and pleasant like she was just hours ago. "As far as my handling my boys goes, I think I am showing how well I can do that. I think I have shown in the past that I don't need them. After Raining Blood and them trying to interfere... I think they will stay out of my way any time I request it. Otherwise, they know what will happen to them. I am not playing games when it comes to you Aurora. I am in this match one hundred and sixty percent, and I am in it to win it. If I remember correctly, both you and I took a beating in that four way match before we each got a pin, then it was left to just the two of us. I will not claim a clean win over you Aurora, because I know I had my foot on the ropes, in the four way. As for the one-on-one, you beat me, but that is a DQ win under your belt Dear Heart, are you still enjoying it? You should because you have beaten me one too many times lately, and I will be damned if I give one up as easily again."

"You are right Aurora, I do learn easily, and I have been practicing that spike DDT, I have not forgotten what you have showed me. Come Sunday, you might even have a chance to see I have remembered it quite well. You seem to think I doubt you so much Aurora, that is where you are wrong. I would not train so hard if I didn't feel I had to. I know you continue to train and grow just as quickly as I do, there is plenty that we could show one another, plenty we could do to one another, and Sunday will be the time and the place. I am going to pass something along to you that Alexa told me when I first came along. Don't hold anything back in any match. Don't hide it for when you think you might need it. It could be that one second of holding back that makes all the difference in a match. So don't deprive me of that Aurora. Bring everything you have and more, and then when its all said and done, get back in shape and ready for round two, where your title will be on the line."

"You stay as confident as you can, but know that I will be just as confident. It might hurt you when you see how well I have been preparing, and it will make you prepare that much more when I come for your title. Aurora Jansen, that belt will not stay around your waist much longer, and you will see how much of a reality my words are at Shockwave. I am coming for you Ghost, and when I am done, you will be at peace. Actually, you will not be at peace, you will probably want to come at me as hard as you can, and I will welcome it with open arms."

Kelsia moved around ring side and went to sit on the announcers table as she waited for Roric to arrive. Her hands stayed on the table next to her on either side as she kicked her feet back and forth like a little child. "I am not perfect Aurora, I never said I was, but I am not going to fall into what you are saying. I know there is a possibility of losing, but you seem to think you have this win guaranteed, and it is anything but that. There is no guarantee on anything. We will go at each other in the ring, tagging in and out numerous times.. but only when that bell rings will we know who is better this week. If it is you, I will learn from it, and if its me, then I know you will do the same. I do not doubt what you can do in the ring. I never will, but I am not going to say that I can not defeat you either. You say the Ghost herself will freeze me over in that ring? That is funny Aurora, I have heard it before, and I keep coming back for more don't I? You can not haunt me Aurora, you can not keep me away. Once you understand that everything will be much better. As for what I said regarding you and Roric, I was wrong. At the same time, I know the feelings are there, that much you can not deny, as they are there with you and your partner as well. I might exaggerate the truth, but I never told a lie."

"Speaking of your partner. Snake, you have been quiet again, holding it all back for the last minute no doubt. You stay as sneaky as you want. You slither your way up and try to take me out. I am not afraid of putting my body on the line for a win. I am not afraid to be in the ring with you. Snake, David, whatever the hell you want to go by now... I will see you in the ring this Sunday, I have no doubt about that. You might get your hands on me and try to squeeze the life out of me. You might drop me to the mat with the Injection, no matter what happens, I have faith that my partner will break it up if he can. Like I told you Snake, your mind games will not work on me. I am not as stupid as you might think me to be. I might set myself up in situations that could make or break me, but I don't back down. I go into everything head first, even if that means the mat. I will not give anything but my best in that ring. My partner will stay out of my way so I can have Aurora, and I already agreed I will stay out of his so he can have you. Don't think for a second I will not try to stop you if you go for the pin though. I will do anything I can, without getting DQ'd to get this win for Roric and I. You both train, and train hard, because we are coming at you both full speed ahead. It will be anything but a pretty sight when one team is left standing in the middle of that ring. I have all the confidence in the world that it will be Roric and I. So sit back and enjoy the show, because once we are up, its game on."

"Oh and before I forget... Snake, you don't think I have been focusing on you this week? I beg to differ there. I have said all I needed to say to you. I came back with everything you have said to me. Get your facts straight before you spit your venom Snake, I believe I am a two time contender, I have not also been here as long as you have. You have been here how long and all you have to show for it is two short time frames where you held the title? I doubt it will be three anytime soon. Like I proved in the street fight. I do not need T&A to get a win. I can do things on my own and I will be damned if anyone including a reptile such as yourself will tell me otherwise. I will not feed into the sh*t you are trying to pull Snake. So leave it where it is, because its not going to work with me. I have more intelligence then you will ever no big boy, and I don't need to flaunt it around. You will see soon enough how intelligent I am. I dug my grave? I picked my tombstone? Very well, but I will not be getting buried any time soon, so don't waste your time trying. Realize this, I care less about how deep you think I have put myself, I will dig my way out of it. I don't need to know you, or understand you Snake, I need to beat you. Roric and I will be doing just that. I am sure of that. So enjoy what time you have left. You will not be liking how it ends, but you will see that even if its just for one night, I will get the better of you."

Kelsia hoped off the table and walked off, the priest was still walking around finishing his blessing and Kelsia was going to find Roric so they would be able to get this done.
