As a result, the cameras fade out at this point.  They kick on again, showing that Aurelei was in the trainer’s room backstage.  The man within, white gloves upon his hands, rotated her shoulders and checked her elbows and wrists as well, having her turn and manipulate them as he checked them for any signs of over-extension or injury.  Of course, it would have taken more than just Black Death to do any serious damage in Aurelei’s mind, but these days, with Sarah on the warpath…she made it a habit of having herself checked after matches to make sure she caught any possible weakness before they became prominent.  As she sat in her ring gear silently while the therapist did his work, her eyes shifted to the door as if she felt someone approaching.  Dressed in those baggy white sweat pants, and that black beater that was torn to bare her torso, Kaylyn found herself stopping in the hallway and her head tilted as she looked into the room seeing Aurelei sitting there. A soft smirk played across her tiers.::

Kaylyn: "Don't tell me Ms. Jamison is hurt now. Funny, you talk about me being one of the lower on the roster...yet here you are, getting checked up. Got a little injury there Aurelei?"

::Aurelei's expression, though remaining calm, twitches slightly when she catches the snark in Kaylyn's voice.  The trainer positioned behind her does not look up as he rotates her shoulders and tests the joints.  His actions are hardly any sort of hinderance to Lady Death or her reply.::

Aurelei: "Do you have something important to say or did you just get lost on the way to catering?"

::She averts her eyes toward Kaylyn, then resumes looking forward.  Her tone is flat and colder than usual.  Kaylyn laughed as she went and repositioned herself in the doors frame now leaning against one side of it.::

Kaylyn: "Quick with the comments there. Sadly, I was not going anywhere. Incase you have not noticed, I am not booked tonight. Just wanted to walk around a bit, and then there you were. Is it wrong of me to stop and make sure you are okay?"

::That smirk, and more so that laughter that followed told she could care less about the well being of Aurelei.::

Kaylyn: "I would just hate to see anything wrong with you though...after all, I noticed you get a little squeamish in some situations."

::Of course she was referring to the promotion that Eric had done earlier in the week.::

Aurelei: "Well aren't you a caring soul.  But your words ring more hollow than Vespertine's skull, Vaude.  There's no love lost between us and no shortage of bad blood.  So I ask again...why are you here?"

::And yes, she had looked rattled that night after the show while in Eric's presence.  And those who did not know why did not need to know.  Unlike most of the roster, Aurelei saw no need to put things like that out in the open, to let them become weapons in her enemies' hands.::

Kaylyn: "Funny you say that Aurelei. No love lost, no shortage of bad blood...yet you bring my name from those pretty little lips of yours so easily. Did you think a comment like that would go unnoticed? I would hope not. And last week...that was nothing. After thinking it over some more, I got to thinking. How is it I am at the bottom of the roster...and you and I are now tied with holding the title the same length of time. Puts you right at the bottom where you belong doesn't it?"  ::She smirked.::   " Remember Aurelei, your little friends will not always be there to help you. I would watch my back if I were you." ::Kaylyn laughed and stepped back as if she was ready to go...:: "Oh, that is not a threat either. It's a promise."

Aurelei: "My, my...aren't we feeling confident tonight."

::The trainer finished his examination, at which point Aurelei slid off the edge of the table and rolled her neck once, exhaling in satisfaction.  Turning her white eyes upon Kaylyn, she smiled in a predatory fashion.::

Aurelei: "I've proven time and again that I need no assistance to handle my business in that ring...unlike you.  When it comes right down to it, Vaude, you're all mouth.  And as for your little 'promise', allow me to give you some advice..."

::Aurelei closes the distance between them, only an inch or two of separation between them as she drops her voice another octave.::

Aurelei: "You make promises based on that which you can control.  Get the point?"

::Kaylyn stood her ground as Aurelei closed the space between them, that smirk never leaving her face.::

Kaylyn: "I think my title reign shows that while I might run my mouth...I back it up just as much. As for that promise...it stands as is. I would watch my back if I were you. Then again, I would watch all around. You never know when someone might just come along and want too...take you out." ::She smirked and stepped in a bit.:: "That reminds me...Sarah mentioned a little something after the show, about me getting attacked. You and yours realize it would not be in your best interest to come after me?"

Aurelei: "You certainly do back up...in more ways than one.  But you bring up a couple of good points for once."

::Not shying away one bit, Aurelei held her ground as the proximity had their noses almost touching.::

Aurelei: "I remember your attack quite well...because I was the one who put you down, Kaylyn.  And I did it with pleasure."  ::She gives Kaylyn a moment to absorb that, then carries on while the surprise is still fresh.::  "And since you're bound and determined to present yourself as a threat...my 'best interest'...is not to wait!"

::A very un-ladylike headbutt follows Aurelei’s sharp retort, stunning Vaude and allowing the larger woman to tackle her against the wall across the way from the trainer’s room.::

MS: “And there they go!”

::Grabbing Kaylyn by the head post-impact, Aurelei bounces the back of her head off the wall before whipping her into the door to the trainer’s room.  Kaylyn fights back with an elbow to the stomach and a kneelift that straightens Aurelei up.  Backing off for a clothesline, the former champion nearly takes Lady Death’s head off but she ducks at the last moment.  Kaylyn swiftly turns about just in time to catch White Noise across the face.::

RJ: “What a shot!  Someone needs to break these two up before this escalates!”

MS: “Hell with that!  Just let them fight…and someone get me a tape of it!”

RJ: “Both are to blame here!  Kaylyn can’t control her mouth and Aurelei can’t control her temper!”

::The two exchange a few hard forearm shots to the jaw after Vaude is drawn up by Aurelei before Kaylyn tackles Lady Death to the floor and hauls off on her with right hands.  Aurelei quickly reverses the position and launches into a series of shots on her own, but neither woman gets much farther than that before two others burst onto the scene.  Chris Vaude wraps his arms around Kaylyn’s waist and pulls her back forcefully while the wild woman keeps trying to claw and strike at Aurelei.  The latter’s partner, Alexa Rose, needs all her strength to draw her partner back, Aurelei almost frothing at the chance to get another handful of Kaylyn’s hide.  Security steps in at this point, but Chris and Alex already have the two women separated.::

MS: “Oh just let them go, already!”

RJ: “Never saw that one coming…but this brawl?  Most definitely saw that one coming and a mile away even!  These two hate each other!”
