Roric, meanwhile, continues down the hallway towards catering.  After standing at the catering table for a few moments, speaking with a few of the crew members, who appear to also be bidding good-bye to the Guardian, Roric gets the feeling that someone's looking his way...and turns to see Kelsia Vector standing there.  Their past was acrimonious at best most of the time...but they had an understanding as well.  For now...there was no malice.::

Roric: "Long time, Kelsia..."

::After hearing in the beginning of the night that Roric Draygon was going to be leaving ACW, she knew she had to make a point to see him before he left. The last time she had spoken to him was not long after they had been forced to team with one another and she had made a promise to him only weeks after that she would take care of Tony and Adrean because of the attack that they came to feel was needed against the Guardian.::

::As he turned around she stepped closer still now that his attention was on her and he would see she was not going to start a problem just from the way she looked at him.::

Kelsia: "So you were serious? The Guardian is leaving ACW?"

Roric: "There's no need for my presence anymore.  Having accomplished all I wanted to here and more along the way...I'm choosing to step aside now while I can still do so with class and grace.  It isn't easy, but..."

Kelsia: "But what? Your just going to walk away like this is nothing? So wrestling is not a passion for you is it?"

::She stopped herself and her hands came up palms out towards him as she took a deep breath. Lowering her hands once more she spoke again.::

Kelsia: "Whatever you do is your business. But I had to stop you before you left. I made a promise to you after Adrean and Tony attacked you. I never forgot that promise. Though I was not the one that took them out, they are done here. Gryphon made sure of that."

::Another pause but it was obvious she had more to say.::

Kelsia: "Why I brought them back in my corner after, well that is my business. I just wanted to stop you so you can see...I did keep my word."

Roric: "I didn't doubt that you would, Kelsia.  And as for passion...it's that passion that keeps me from staying.  What does it say of someone who forces themselves to keep going knowing they can't meet their own standards?  You know what pride is...you should understand that."

Kelsia: "I do, and I can respect that."

::She hesitated for a minute before holding her hand out towards him.::

Kelsia: "You know ACW is not going anywhere. I am sure that I will see you again down the line. That passion will bring you back. Your pride will come intact once more."

::He does not pause long before accepting her hand and shaking it respectfully.::

Roric: "Just keep on doing what you do, Kelsia.  Fans may not like it...other wrestlers back here may not like it...but it's gotten you far.  You stick to what works for you and don't let anyone else tell you that you're wrong for it."

Kelsia: "Oh, I will not forget it. You already know I don't care about the fan's opinion. I am here to do what I have to do to get a win. Friends come and go, and foes do even more so. Just remember, if you do ever come back..."

::She stepped in closer towards him smirking like she always does. He would not feel threatened at all by it, more so after knowing her from when they partnered up.::

Kelsia: "...there will be nothing stopping me from doing what I have to do if you get in my way."

::Of course, Roric had to smile at this, though he resisted the urge to do something condescending like cupping her chin or patting her head.  He met her halfway when she did her little approach and spoke in an equally-forward tone.::

Roric: "When the time comes, Kelsia...if the time comes...I'll have no illusions of you playing nice.  Nor should you."

::Roric had no problem getting mean when the situation called for it.  Making it up front right now would save crying later if the time came.  A soft laugh blew past her lips before she turned away from him and started walking off.::

Kelsia: "Keep a look out when you return. You never know who might find you."

::And just as easily as she had come, she was gone.  Roric shook his head with a residual chuckle and picked up a bottle of Life Water, taking a long sip before turning on his heel and making his way down the hall.
