HL: “The following contest is set for one fall and it is for the ACW World Women’s Championship!”

RJ: “Time to see which of these two women will make history tonight, either as the new longest-reigning champion in history or the first two-time champion!”

MS: “After Kaylyn’s silence all week…I can’t help thinking she’s up to something.”

RJ: “Certainly not unfounded.”

::For a moment there is silence, then what sounds like a static hiss before the first swell of her first theme with ACW comes up. The lights dim except for two strong white lights towards the ACW-Tron, and the bass line of her theme has obviously been augmented to seem more like an arena-wide heartbeat, a pulse of energy to flow across the audience.::

"We kiss...the stars.
We writhe...We are..."

HL: “Now entering the ring from Dayton, OH, wrestling out of Pismo Beach, CA...standing 5'8" and weighing in at 145 pounds...the Ghost...Aurora Matthews!”

::Aurora appears at the top of the ramp, and the vid behind her on the tron shows several of her more high impact spots and counters along with all of her finishers on display, starting with the Killswitch and ending with The AntiVenom. Pure white crisp strobes flash over her, lighting her up from her boots to the collar of her black leather jacket, gleaming off of the decorations she's placed on it. A soft voice breaks through the music, her voice apparently.::

Voice: "We are..."

::The white lights on the ACW-Tron go black, and for a moment there is silence again, then the music swells up louder than before on the down beat of the chorus, when the word "Cold" is sung she then sprints towards the ring, her hands up to lift her long golden blonde hair in its tight pony-tail and letting the curls tumble down her back before Aurora turns to watch her beloved husband join her on the stage dressed in his black leathers, his trench coat with Perfection Personified on the back and wearing one of Aurora's t-shirts. As the chorus pumps through the PA system the pair head with a purpose towards the ring.::

"Cold, we're so cold.
We are...so cold, we're so cold.
Cold, we're so cold.
We are...so cold, we're so cold."

::When she hits the ring apron she jumps to grab the middle rope, using her momentum to bring her right up on the apron and then she turns to face the ramp, arms going up over her head. A slow backflip into the ring and she slips out of the jacket and flings it at one of the ring-handlers, moving to the center of the ring she lifts her arms up over her head again as Snake slides into the ring and picks her up with his hands spanning her waist, displaying her to the crowd as the white strobes light up above her to wash down over the couple.::

RJ: “She looks more ready than she has in a long time, Mitchell.”

MS: “Stop leering.”

RJ: “Like hell…I know who she’s married to. I value my life.”

::The lights dim and pyrotechnic explosions burst, sending the crowd into a frenzy as the classic Judas Priest song “You’ve Got Another Thing Coming” begins to play over the arena’s PA System. Kaylyn Vaude comes walking from behind the curtain and the fans begin to boo immediately, though not quite all of them. More than a few cheers were in the mix as the woman everyone now truely knew comes to stand in the middle of the stage for a moment before making her way down the ramp. That World Women's Championship title around her waist proudly.::

One life I'm gonna live it up
I'm takin' flight I said I'll never get enough
Stand tall I'm young and kinda proud
I'm on top as long as the music's loud

If you think I'll sit around as the world goes by
You're thinkin' like a fool cause it's a case of do or die
Out there is a fortune waitin' to be had
You think I'll let it go you're mad
You've got another thing comin'!”

::Kaylyn casts her eyes from side to side, offering smirking expressions to her detractors an incline of the head towards the few that sung her praises, pausing half-way to the ring to soak in more of the reactions.::

That's right here's where the talkin' ends
Well listen this night there'll be some action spent
Drive hard I'm callin' all the shots
I got an ace card comin' down on the rocks!”

::Kaylyn walks to the apron and pulls herself up onto it via the middle rope. Posing briefly just to get a rise out of the crowd, she hooks her arms around the top rope and flips gracefully back into the ring, taking a moment to toss her head back, clearing her hair out of the way. Stepping towards the corner and turnbuckles, she climbs up onto the middle rope and takes one last look at the audience as she takes her title from around her waist and raises it into the air.::

HL: “And her opponent, hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, standing 5’6” and weighing in at 120 pounds, she is the reigning and defending ACW World Women’s Champion…Kaylyn Vaude!”

Oh so hot no time to take a rest yeah
Act tough ain't room for second best
Real strong got me some security
Hey I'm a big smash I'm goin' for infinity yeah"

::Jumping down she stands there removing her jacket and tossing it to the side as she awaits the match to get underway, after handing the title to the referee. ::

MS: “I’d like to say it’ll be easy to pick a favorite here…but that’d be a lie.”

RJ: “Something that’s never stopped you before.”

::The referee waves for the bell and Aurora and Kaylyn begin circling each other in the center of the ring. Kaylyn holds up her hands to invite Aurora to engage in a test of strength and Mrs Matthews takes her up on it in aggressive fashion, using her slight height and not inconsequential weight advantage to lean Vaude over backwards. Aurora keeps her grip as she steps around beside the Champion and lifts a knee into her arched back then releases her grip to strike down with a double axe handle to the abdomen, knocking the off balance Vaude down to the mat on her back.::

RJ: “Aurora Matthews wasting no time getting down to offense here in this Championship match!”

MS: “Can you blame her, Robbie? After what she's just been through she's gotta be ready to kill somebody! I sure wouldn't want to be in the ring with her right now!”

::Aurora immediately puts the boots to Kaylyn, but on the third stomp Kaylyn grabs the challenger's attacking foot by the ankle and rolls away, pulling the Ghost off balance and toppling her down to the mat as well. Vaude keeps a hold on Aurora's ankle, pulling it tight against her own chest as Aurora attempts to pull away and cinching in an ankle lock. Aurora lets out a surprised yelp at the pain of the submission hold but quickly bites it off and grits her teeth with an angry and determined look on her face. The referee checks to see if she wants to submit but Aurora angrily shakes her head.::

RJ: “I'm not sure we've ever seen Kaylyn Vaude use this maneuver before, Mitch, but she definitely looks to have it locked in!”

MS: “She's the World Women's Champion, Robbie, she has to be good! But I don't think that will be enough to stop Mrs Matthews this early in the match!”

::Aurora struggles against Kaylyn's grip for a moment before suddenly turning into it, rolling both wrestlers two full revolutions to the side until she can reach the ropes, which causes the referee to call for the champion to break the hold. Vaude does not immediately comply and the official begins a count, getting to three and a half before the Champion releases the hold and rolls away.::

RJ: “Kaylyn Vaude not the most sporting competitor in the world.”

MS: “If you had an angry Aurora by the ankle, would you want to let go so she could turn back around at you?”

RJ: “I suppose you actually have a decent point there, Mitch. For a change.”

::Both women get to their feet, Kaylyn taunting Aurora as she uses the ropes to pull herself up and inviting her to meet her back in the center of the ring. Aurora steps forward, wincing briefly as she puts weight on the worked ankle but turning the expression into a growl as she advances and ties up with the Champion. Kaylyn leans her weight to put pressure on Aurora's taxes ankle but Aurora uses her momentum against her by pivoting on her good foot and spinning the weakened one around behind her, pulling Vaude past and shifting into a one arm bulldog takedown. ::

MS: “Like I said, Aurora isn't out of this yet! She's to angry to go down!”

RJ: “I'm wondering why she hasn't taken that collar off yet.”

MS: “I'm guessing it's there as a reminder to stay angry.”

RJ: “That's the second thing in a row you've said that actually makes sense.”

MS: “Why thank you, Robbie.”

RJ: “Who are you and what have you done with Mitchell Summerville?”

MS: “Har har.”

::In the ring Aurora rolls over on top of Kaylyn and begins raining down punches and forearm strikes from a mounted position. The referee begins a count, and Aurora draws it out to four before leaning back and holding up her open hands to show that she has stopped the assault. She then steps up to her feet, pulls the dazed Kaylyn up by an arm, and goes to apply a front facelock but Vaude pushes her arms away and creates more distance between the two with a hard backhand chop to Aurora's chest, then a second one, followed by a third. Aurora ducks back from a fourth chop and answers with a high spinning heel kick, but the champion duck under that and steps in behind Aurora before she can spin all the way back around and executes a quick but solid neckbreaker. Kaylyn quickly jumps up to her feet and comes back down with an elbow drop to Aurora's ribs, only to spring back upright and this time drop a leg across Mrs Matthews' abdomen. Kaylyn rolls to one side, hooks a leg and goes for the pin, prompting the ref to drop and make a count.::

ONE...T-

RJ: “The Champion looking to end things but the challenger kicking out of a short two count.”

MS: “I actually think it was more of a long one count.”

RJ: “What's the real difference?”

MS: “When talking about Snake's wife, it's usually best to make her sound as good as possible, especially when he's at ringside.”

RJ: “If it wasn't for you being a fanboy for Snake, I'd almost think you were talking sense again there, Mitch.”

MS: “Stuff a sock in it, Jones.”

::Vaude stands up and drags Aurora after her and applies a front facelock but is interrupted bu a quick pair of hooked punches to her side from Aurora, who breaks free of the hold and pushes away. Kaylyn comes right back to tie up again but is rocked onto her heels by a European uppercut. Aurora follows this with a quick kick to the stomach to double Vaude over, applies a quick front facelock, and lifts her outside leg up behind her before swinging it back down and forward to add momentum to a hard pendulum DDT.::

MS: “She's called the Mistress of the DDT for a reason, folks!”

RJ: “The challenger Aurora Matthews coming back with a vengeance and going for the cover! Here's the count!”

ONE...TWO...T-

::Kaylyn kicks out with a heartbeat to spare, and Aurora pulls her up and twists her around to go for the Killswitch, but Vaude slips free of the hold behind the challenger and reaches up to grab the back of the spiked dog collar still strapped around Aurora's neck, using it to pull her down onto a planted knee for a hard backbreaker, then holds her there, arched backwards over her knee while choking her with the hold on the collar. The referee begins a count and the Champion releases at four and a half and Aurora rolls off towards the center of the ring holding both hands to her throat. Snake jumps up onto the ring apron and begins to berate the official for not breaking up the hold.::

MS: “That's right! Set him straight, Snake!”

RJ: “While I don't disagree that the official should have probably done something sooner, is it really the best idea for Snake to be distracting the referee while his wife is at Kaylyn Vaude's mercy?”

MS: “Um...crap!”

::Kaylyn is circling and taunting Aurora, who is now up to her knees in the middle of the ring, still clutching at her own neck and breathing heavily as she pulls and twists at the collar in an attempt to increase her airflow. After a few more seconds, Kaylyn glances behind her to double check that the official is still occupied with her opponent's husband, then turns back around with a grin on her face. That grin vanishes quickly as Aurora's arm shoots away from her throat with the now unfastened collar coming with it to lash metal studs across the Champion's face. Kaylyn reaches up in a delayed reaction to protect her face and staggers back a step, but Aurora is quickly back on her feet and slashes down at an overhand angle to strike Vaude in the side of the neck with the studded strap of leather. The crowd erupts at the sudden turn of events and the referee starts to turn but Snake grabs his shoulder to keep his attention and give him another ear full before dropping back down to the floor after Aurora flings the collar out of the ring in the other direction.::

MS: “There you go! That's why you don't mess with Mr or Mrs Matthews!”

RJ: “Not that I endorse what Kaylyn did at first, but since when do two wrongs make a right?”

MS: “There's nothing wrong if the ref doesn't see it!”

::Kaylyn backs against the ropes as the ref turns his attention back to inside the ring, one hand still holding her face and the other rubbing her neck. She lowers her hands just in time to see Aurora's foot coming at her with a high spinning heel kick but not soon enough to dodge it. Vaude is half spun around by the impact and sent into the ropes before bouncing back and staggering into the middle of the ring where Aurora catches her with a hammer lock and uses the hold to wrench her around facing one of the opposite corners before releasing it then coming up beside her and grabbing her by the head as she runs to the corner. The Ghost runs up the turnbuckles, clenching down on Vaude's head with both hands as she pushes off to whip the champion around into a hard tornado DDT that shakes the ring with its impact.::

MS: “Another great DDT from the Mistress!”

RJ: “That was a huge move! This could be it!”

MS: “She's hooking the leg!”

ONE...TWO...THR-

RJ: “The Champion kicked out! Kaylyn Vaude is still in this match!”

MS: “After a shot like that, it's only a matter of time, Robbie! Aurora's going to win this match and both Mr and Mrs Matthews will be champions!”

RJ: “Even if she does, Snake still has to defend his title later tonight against Hyena, don't forget.”

MS: “Hah! Like that mutt is going to be able to even limp to the ring after the thrashing Snake gave him? I don't think so!”

::Aurora pulls Kaylyn to her feet, and the Champion's hand flashes up to rake her eyes. Ignoring the referee's admonitions, Kaylyn grabs the blinded Aurora by one arm and whips her into the ropes. When Matthews rebounds and returns, Vaude ducks to catch her in the abdomen with a shoulder and lifts her up, turning with her momentum to deliver a hard spinning sit-out spinebuster. Not bothering to go for a cover, Vaude stands up and comes back down with an elbow drop before lifting the challenger back up, turning her around, locking in a full nelson hold, and arching her back to lift her into the air before bringing her back down hard.::

RJ: “KV Bomb! Kaylyn Vaude capitalizing on the rake to the eyes and hitting a spinebuster followed by a KV Bomb!”

MS: “No! It can't end like this!”

::Kaylyn hooks a leg and makes the cover, the referee dropping to the mat to make the count.::

ONE...TWO...THRE-

MS: “Kickout! Aurora kicked out!”

RJ: “I'm not sure how she managed it after those hard slams, but Aurora Matthews is still in this match!”

::Kaylyn turns and argues with the referee, insisting that she had a pin but the official holds up two fingers and waves his hands to make his call clear. Snarling in frustration, Kaylyn pulls Aurora to her feet once more only to be struck by another European uppercut followed by a standing dropkick from Aurora that knocks the champion down.::

RJ: “Where is Aurora getting this energy?”

MS: “She's Snake's wife, Robbie! You think she'd last long with a guy like him if she didn't have a lot of stamina?”

RJ: “Ugh...I'm not even going to justify that with a response.”

::The brief assault appears to have taken most of the wind out of Aurora, however, because she isn't any faster back to her feet after delivering that dropkick than Vaude is after taking it. Kaylyn is first back up and watches as Aurora rights herself, facing the opposite direction. Aurora turns to face her and Kaylyn charges in swinging an arm up for a clothesline but Aurora ducks under it. Kaylyn catches herself and stops after overrunning Aurora by only a few steps, then turns around to receive a sharp kick to the stomach from Aurora. Matthews steps in and applies a front facelock, but instead of going for one of her signature DDTs she drives a hard lifting knee into the Champion's ribs, then a second one and then a third, then shifts her grip to Vaude's shoulders and pulls her up, twisting her around before dropping back into a double underhook facebuster.::

MS: “Killswitch! Aurora hit Kaylyn with the Coil then followed it up with a Killswitch! This is it! New World Women's Champion right here!”

RJ: “Aurora rolls Vaude over and hooks the leg!”

ONE...TWO...THREE!

::The referee calls for the bell and “Cold” by Static-X comes over the PA system along with the voice of ACW ring announcer Heather Lee.::

HL: “Ladies and gentlemen, your winner by pin fall and the new ACW World Women's Champion, AURORA MATTHEWS!”

::Snake grabs the belt from the timekeeper and presents it to his wife personally, no small amount of pride showing as she holds the belt high for a surprising number of cheering fans.
