3-28-10 pt 3
::The Irish Dragon is in motion even before the last divider opens, charging down to the ring as Rob Halford's “Resurrection” plays sans opening in the background. He hits the ring like an inferno as Yeh Ren, having extricated himself from combat with Alexa Rose, sees him and bounds to the ropes of the far ring, looking to leap from them to the front ring's ropes before coming at Donavan. Eric gets an arm up and across Ren's chest as he comes down, driving him viciously to the mat with a modifed STO.
Hyena sweeps aside Devon after a cage-shaking spinebuster and comes at the former two-time World Heavyweight Champion, who ducks his lariat and catches him flush with a Dragon Fang. Snake and Gone are both on their feet again and with the Entity again taking the brief advantage, he Irish whips Gone towards Eric. The Grey Man attempts a clothesline yet finds himself caught in the Avenger's arms, arm captured before he's thrown from one ring to the other by a Dragon Vengeance suplex.::
MS: “The Irish Dragon is cleaning house in there, Robbie! Talk about saving the best for last!”
RJ: “I thought, in your eyes, that the best came first since Snake was the first man in.”
MS: “You know what I mean!”
RJ: “No one knows what you mean...”
::In the other ring, Aurelei and Alexa catch the unwary Kaylyn with a Sweet Spot double-superkick only to turn around and be rocked hard by a top-rope dropkick from Michaelina that sees one of her feet crash into each woman's chest. She's up to her feet quickly but turns into a kick from Aurora that she catches a moment before the Women's Champion spins about with a windmill kick that leaves the Vegas Princess groggy but still on her feet. Following another boot to the gut, Aurora lands a snap DDT as the fans against start counting down from twenty with the screen's timer.
Hyena reverses a clothesline into a back body drop that sees Devon's back rake against the cage even as a hard kick to the knee from John Gone drops Snake to one knee long enough for the Devil's Right Hand to attempt to end Snake's night with a running Yakuza kick. The blow sends Snake spinning to the mat but leaves Gone open to Eric who locks on a cobra clutch before lifting Gone up and then bringing him down back-first across his knee.::
RJ: “It's almost time for the last entrant...three...two...one...”
MS: “Here he comes!”
::”Endless Possibility” rushes through the speakers as Logan Alexander charges the ring. With everyone else paired off and dealing out the pain elsewhere in the ring, Eric Donavan is standing ready to meet the Survivor Champion, who hits the ring like a tornado and immediately trades fists and chops with the Irish Dragon. Chaos Stryke uses his superior speed to get the better of the exchanges, landing several unanswered chops before ducking under a haymaker from Eric and attempting a superkick. Donavan steps in under it and attempts the Dragon Vengeance but a headbutt gets Logan out of the predicament, letting him nail a surprise Stryke Force.
The shot leaves Eric standing but far from cognizant and the veteran Chaos Stryke presses the issue by bringing his arm back behind Donavan's head and running up the nearby turnbuckles, attempting the Stryke Force Inversion. Holding on to the ropes at the last second keeps the Irish Dragon from suffering another headshot, but a dropkick to the back sends him chest first into the turnbuckles, letting Logan run up to the top rope and hit the L.A. Ascension. He immediately goes for the pin with a leg hooked.::
“One...two...”
RJ: “Near fall, the first legal one of the match, by Logan Alexander...but the Dragon's shoulders won't stay down!”
MS: “The kick to the head from Snake sure helped that along, though!”
::Snake pulls Logan up by the hair but takes a stream of chops himself before firing back with the Coil, hoisting the smaller Alexander up for a possible Injection. Gone makes the save with a shot to the back of Snake's struck leg and Logan comes down with a modified DDT that bounces Snake's cranium hard against the canvas.
Logan and Gone pick up Snake and, each with an arm, send him back-first into the razor mesh a total of three times, leaving several small cuts across the Entity's back. Aurelei, from across the ring, hits a springboard before coming off at Logan with a Blood Spike spinning dropkick, sending him into the ropes. She's waylaid after the fact by Michaelina and sent scrambling by a hard kick to the face. Aurora, meanwhile, has disposed of Kaylyn briefly with the Dreamcatcher, leaving the first match entrant laying. She vaults over the twin sets of ropes between the rings and tackles John Gone into the cage as he'd done with Snake: back first.
John Gone pulls her up by the hair post-impact and whispers something to her that the cameras don't pick up on as Logan and Michaelina hit a double-suplex on Aurelei. Eric is stirring on the mat but seems to be out of commission as Devon and Hyena are trapped between the ropes as they slug it out, both men bleeding from the face and head by now. Ren powers his way out of a leg-trap chokeslam and executes a modified Codebreaker on Alexa Rose as the Grey Man menaces Aurora, dragging her back to the corner.::
MS: “I don't like this...someone needs to get Gone away from Aurora! But both Snake and Eric are down!”
RJ: “No one's around to save her from this masochist!”
MS: “What the hell...what is he doing?!”
RJ: “Hyena just sent Devon crashing into John Gone! Was that intentional?!”
::Regardless, the blow sends Gone away from Aurora long enough for her to escape the corner, but Devon comes back hard at the Hellhound, hitting a Mayhem Spike across the ropes that sends the champion down between the strands. His brief check upon Aurora after the fact ends with a modified Shining Wizard executed by the Grey Man which takes Mayhem through the ropes and into the far ring. The Mistress of the DDT finds herself grasped by the hair once again by John Gone, but this time he has less chance to make use of the moment.
On his feet during the exchanges, Donavan gets Aurora away from Gone but takes a thumb to the eye followed by a brainbuster for his efforts. Aurora, momentarily out of sorts again, is victimized by Kaylyn's KV Bomb. The blow leaves both women sprawling as Gone locks on a modified camel clutch to try and squeeze a submission out of Donavan. Eric forces his arms down and gets to his feet after several moments, shoving Gone off his back. The Grey Man lands on his feet and runs into a snapping powerslam from Eric.::
RJ: “This is madness, Mitchell! Nothing but madness!”
MS: “Madness is Logan taking out his frustrations on Aurelei over in the corner and Michaelina, her so-called friend, letting it happen!”
::Those frustrations result in a running clothesline followed by an L.A. Shockwave DDT that leaves Lady Death nearly unconscious. Alexa Rose goes for the save for her partner but is speared to the mat by the Vegas Princess and put on the receiving end of a cross arm-breaker. With most of the rest of the participants incapacitated, Gone stalks Donavan who seems to be trying to push his way up again, one arm having landed under his body. After Eric is drawn up by his braided hair, John Gone sends the Dragon into the corner before charging him with an attempted Yakuza kick.
At the last second, Eric moves away from the turnbuckles, leaving Gone to get hung up on the ropes. Logan strikes from the rear with a forearm to the base of the spine, then maneuvers Eric into position for a vertical suplex. Twisting out of Chaos Stryke's grip, Donavan takes him down with a hangman's neckbreaker before turning back to Gone as the Grey Man manages to get his leg off the ropes.::
MS: “Eric's stalking John Gone and...oh-oh...is that a lighter?”
RJ: “Look out!”
::Flicking on the gold Zippo, Eric sends a stream of fire at John Gone that strikes him in the upper back and shoulders, leaving him roaring in pain even with the flames being gone as quickly as they appeared. Residual smoke expels past Eric's lips as he grabs John Gone by the head and hurls him head-and-back-first into the cage, drawing more pained exclamations from the Grey Man. Another thumb to the eyes and a hard right hand gets Gone some breathing room, but by now, Snake is on his feet...and the Entity heaves Gone up into a military press before spearing him into the cage face-first.::
RJ: “A crushing shot from Snake...but here comes Logan and Hyena, clotheslining the former champion into the cage as well!”
MS: “And there goes Devon off the top with a missile dropkick...but he's speared out of the air by Logan Alexander! This match is insane!”
::A brief brawl between Hyena and Snake ends when a lariat from Hyena is turned into a belly-to-back suplex. Logan steps in and immediately goes for the Serpent King's leg with shoot kicks, setting up for the Perfect Chaos Theory. A Dragon suplex from Eric Donavan gets Snake out of the line of fire and, with the aid of Devon Mayhem, the Irish Dragon rakes Logan's face against the cage, opening him up before they each taken an arm and restrain him. Michaelina, taking a spin kick from Aurora and a facebuster from Alexa, finds herself shoved into Snake once again.
Grabbing the Vegas Princess by the hair, Snake shows his catch to Chaos Stryke who almost breaks out of the combined grip of Misters Mayhem and Donavan before taking a knee to the solar plexus. The Entity savors the moment before pulling Mick back by the hair and laying a hard kiss on her lips before heaving her up into the air and bringing her down with the Injection.::
RJ: “Disgusting...and right in front of Logan's face! The man has no shame!”
MS: “It's their fault for buying into Sarah's crap! Toxic Melody doesn't do remorse!”
::Helped up by Aurora, Aurelei shakes off the cobwebs in time to see her brother's actions...and shows satisfaction with the result. Spotting a slow-to-rise Kaylyn crouched just a few feet from the ropes, Aura creates space before charging her adversary and whipping her face-first to the mat with a short-range spinning headscissors.::
MS: “Sinsanity! A nose job for Kaylyn!”
RJ: “But look behind Aurelei on the ropes! It's Yeh Ren!”
MS: “Where the heck did he come from? I thought Alexa put his head through the mat!”
::A springboard corkscrew plancha from the Masked Dervish sends him across Triple-A, with Alexa, Aurora and Aurelei all hitting the mat from his maneuver. Kagrra cheers on the outside as Ren stalks Snake from behind as the Entity torments a released and brutalized Logan Alexander. A hard front dropkick to the middle of the back sends Snake into the cage face-first and a Hyena Tackle drives him to the mat. Eric and Devon drive the champion down with a double-clothesline but aren't in time to stop Ren from hitting the Ouroboros Splash on Snake, going for the pin.::
MS: “There's no way he can pin Snake!”
RJ: “He just might, Mitchell! It could be the biggest upset in ACW history!”
“One...two...th-”
::A snapping elbow drop across the back of Ren's neck from Mayhem breaks up the pin just as Snake's shoulder went up, showing that he would have broken free in time. Devon whips the masked man towards Eric who spikes him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker that leaves the Japanese Tornado writhing on the mat, his spine arched up painfully. Devon turns around and takes a headbutt across the nose that adds more blood to that which already stains his features as a lead in to the Stryke Force Inversion.
Logan gets half his revenge in driving down Mr. Mayhem before turning into a kick from Eric Donavan. Logan catches the leg and throws it aside, causing Eric to spin around. A spinning forearm nearly drives the Irish Dragon back but he ducks it and continues into another spin before hitting a Dragon whip kick across Logan's face. Still upright, Alexander staggers back as Eric pursues, locking him into an inverted full nelson before lifting him up and ramming him back first into the cage.::
RJ: “He's slamming Logan's head and back against that mesh...and it's just opening the Survivor Champion up more!”
MS: “One...two...and a third shot from Donavan...and he completes the Dragon Bomb! This might be the end!”
RJ: “Referee's in position...!”
“One...two...thr-”
::A charging knee drop from Hyena breaks up the pin and leaves Eric rocked enough to be brought down by a Last Laugh. No sooner does Hyena bounce to his feet, however, than does Snake drill him with a big boot that sends him face-first into the cage. Gone, still moving gingerly after the fire-and-cage assault from Eric, strikes with the Heart Attack and Vine on Snake and takes him down hard.
Mounted and returning the favor from earlier in the match in the form of hard rights and lefts to Snake's face, Gone shoves off the approaching Devon Mayhem and uses the rebound to add momentum to his Twitch of the Death Nerve manuever, a stunner/Russian leg sweep combination. Aurora, back on her feet, gets Gone by the hair and pulls him off of Snake again, putting her head under the man's chin and dropping down with a jawbreaker-type maneuver. Obsession spots Yeh Ren on the rise and drive a double boot into his stomach before planting the Masked Dervish with the Glitterspike.
Kaylyn charges both women and manages to spear Alexa to the mat, getting to her feet as Aurelei comes off the top past a double-springboard. The Blood Moon drives both Aurelei and Kaylyn to the mat as Hyena gets another Tackle off, this time on Aurora. The Women's Champion is sent hard into the cage, then to the mat. The only person on his feet at this point, Hyena revels in the destruction...::
RJ: “The World Heavyweight Champion is standing tall!”
MS: “And showing off too much! He'd better go for a pin before he screws this up!”
RJ: “Eric Donavan is getting to his feet...and I don't think Hyena knows it! He's stalking Mayhem again!”
::The Hellhound pulls Devon up by the hair, positioning him for a Last Laugh. Desperation elbows get Mayhem out of the hold as a groggy, bleeding Eric Donavan gets to his feet, yelling at Devon. The message is received and the Wolf in Wolf's Clothing turns Hyena around forcefully with a forearm uppercut. Hitting a Dragon Fang flush under Hyena's chin, he succeeds in turning the champion around again...into another Mayhem Spike!::
MS: “The Spike! He got him with it again, Robbie!”
RJ: “And Eric's standing guard over both men as Devon makes the pin! I don't think anyone's stopping the pin this time!”
::The referee drops down to make the count...::
“One...two...three!”
*DING!* *DING!* *DING!*
HL: “Ladies and gentlemen, the winners of the Defiance Chamber...Toxic Melody!”
::”Thoughtless” by Korn blares through the speakers as Devon and Eric go about rousing their partners-in-crime, pulling them to their feet as the six lifted their fists high into the air, savoring their victory. The cage lifts from the ring as purple and green fireworks go off from the set over the ring area, sending sparks and screaming streaks high into the open night sky above the stadium.::
RJ: “Toxic Melody stands supreme tonight, Mitchell, but they have to know that this isn't over! One setback won't take Sarah D'Angelo off the warpath!”
MS: “She can put together any teams, stipulations or stacked decks she wants, Robbie, but in the end the lifestyle that is Toxic Melody will be supreme!”
RJ: “Where will Sarah go from here? And what will happen with the new rivalries that came about in this match as well as the others tonight? Tune in next week, fans, to find out as Shockwave comes to you from Madrid, Spain!”
MS: “Senoritas and cerveza! We'll see you next week from across the pond!”
RJ: “For Mitchell Summerville, this is Robert Jones saying good night from Chapel Hill!”
::The last scene of the show is of Toxic Melody in the ring before the cameras shut off.::
