HL:
“Our next contest is for one fall!”
::The lights begin to
fade, going practically to nothing. The song 'Down with the Sickness'
by disturbed hit over the PA system. Instruments were heard…:
"Can you feel that?"
::The instrumentals continued…::
"Oh
Sh*t"
"Oh Whahahaha"
"Oh Whahahaha"
::It continued as Kelsia Vector came from behind the black curtain to look out at the now booing fans. She laughed looking around at them all, Tony and Adrean coming out to stand behind her. Standing there in her ring attire which consisted of black flare pants and a white fitted shirt, both with the KTA logo on them, she smirked at them all. Her hair was pulled back tightly so not to get torn out by her opponent.::
"It
seems what's left of my human side is slowly changing...in me."
"Looking
at my own reflecting when suddenly it changes, VIOLENTLY, it
changes...OH NO.
There is no turning back now that you have woken
up the DEMON...IN ME!"
::Kelsia turned, nodding to the two of them as they departed back stage once more and Kelsia kept an evil smile on her face as she made her way down the ramp, one foot followed by the other until she was down the ramp and coming jump onto the apron and stand in the center of it turning her back so that she was now facing the stage once more. Her hands came out on either side locking with the ropes before she looked left, then right once more.::
"Madness is the gift that has been given to me!"
"I
can see inside you the sickness is rising, don't try to deny what you
feel...It seems that all that was good has died and is decaying, in
me"
::She flipped back coming to land in the ring just as the next sentence came blaring out.::
"Get up come on get down with the sickness, come on get down with the sickness, come on get down with the sickness open up your hate and let it flow into me..."
::The words faded as did the instrumentals as Kelsia moved to the far corner jumping on the turnbuckle and taking a seat waiting for the match to get underway.::
HL: “From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, weighing in at 130 pounds…Kelsia Vector!”
RJ:
“She’s been getting steadily more vicious over the last few
weeks, and before the other day, I’d have said that Aurora replaced
Alexa as her number-one rival.”
MS: “There’s a lot of
heat there, most of it from Kelsia herself. But after earlier
tonight, it’s obvious that she hasn’t forgotten Alexa. For
her sake, she’d better focus on her opponent this evening first.”
HL: “And her opponent…”
::For
a moment there is silence then what sounds like a static hiss before
the first swell of her theme comes up. The lights dim except for two
strong white lights towards the ACW-Tron, and the bass line of her
theme has obviously been augmented to seem more like an arena-wide
heartbeat, a pulse of energy to flow across the audience. On the
screen above there comes an image of Aurora in what looks like a
Victorian Era burial shroud, arms crossed over her chest, and fog
effect rolls up from the entrance way, back lit with softer white
light.::
::A soft voice breaks through the music, her voice
apparently.:: "We Are ..."
::The white lights on the
ACW-Tron go black, and for a moment there is silence again, then the
music swells up louder than before on the down beat of the chorus,
when the word "Cold" is sung she appears, sprinting towards
the ring, her arms up to sweep back the white hood, her black hair in
a tight pony-tail to stream behind her. When she hits the ring apron
she jumps to grab the middle rope, using her momentum to bring her
right up on the apron and then she turns to face the ramp, arms going
up over her head. A slow backflip into the ring and she slips out of
the hoodie and flings it at one of the ring-handlers, moving to the
center of the ring she strikes a classic strong-man style pose to
show off her toned arms.::
HL: “…entering the ring from Dayton, Ohio and weighing in at 145 pounds…Aurora Jansen!”
MS: “The surprise rookie so far this year, Robbie. She owns a win over the Women’s Champion and has a shot at her this coming Sunday at the pay-per-view…that is…if she can survive Kelsia tonight.”
RJ: “I like her chances personally, but Kelsia’s devious and determined. I think we’re in for another classic here.”
::The
ringing bell sent them against one another ferociously, trading
forearms and chops mid-ring. No feeling-out process as Aurora
got the better of the exchange and whipped Kelsia into the ropes
before driving her down with a clothesline. Picking her up from
the mat without going for the pin, Aurora kept up the assault with a
pair of European uppercuts and a high kick that nearly knocked Kelsia
back down. But she instead fired back with a kick to the
stomach and a hard elbow to the back of Aurora’s head that drove
her down to her knees, which Kelsia took advantage of by backing into
the ropes and coming forward with a hard kick to the ribs. The
shot knocked Aurora onto her back and made her easy pickings for a
pin, though Kelsia only managed two.::
::Backing Aurora into
the corner with a grip on her arm, Kelsia sent the Ghost hard into
the opposite corner, following her in with a hard clothesline and
another series of chops before climbing up on the turnbuckles in
front of her to taunt the crowd with a wicked smile on her face.
Grabbing Aurora by the head, she began firing right hands down as the
fans counted, but was thrown off at four and driven to the mat by
Aurora’s spinning heel kick. Going for a pin of her own, she
fared no better than Kelsia.::
RJ: “No wrestling yet…just a lot of stiff shots and hard knockdowns. But who expected a clinic with how angry these two are at each other?”
MS:
“They’ll get down to it soon enough. Have to tenderize one
another first. Just sit back and enjoy the beautiful
carnage.”
RJ: “Hmph…don’t mind if I do.”
::Leaning
up from the pin, Aurora seemed to take note of something at ringside
and a smile crept across her face as she hit the ropes and ran at the
still stooped-over Kelsia with intentions of driving a knee into the
side of her head. Kelsia leaned up at the last moment and
grabbed Aurora by the hair from behind, driving her down to the mat.
The referee stepped in to warn Kelsia though she merely brushed him
off and picked up her stunned opponent, landing another European
uppercut before positioning her for a powerbomb. It was too
early for that and Aurora sent her sailing overhead with a back body
drop, already stalking her as she rose and stepping in for a leg
sweep DDT as soon as Kelsia was upright. The two-count didn’t
satisfy Aurora, though, and she grabbed Kelsia by the head, driving
her hard into the mat a few times before being pulled off by the
referee.::
MS: “It’s a whole new side to the Ghost and I
think I like it.”
RJ: “She’s certainly playing more of a
heel side now…and I suppose that’s what Kelsia wanted. But
can she handle it?”
::Yanking away from the referee, Aurora
went for Kelsia again but was grabbed by the front of her ring gear
and pulled down face first into the turnbuckles, a blow which didn’t
send her to the mat but did leave her groggy and unprepared for the
next move. Kelsia stepped in behind her and locked in a
full-nelson while letting out a shriek of determination as she lifted
Aurora up and drove her down hard with a full-nelson sit-out
bomb.::
MS: “KV Bomb! Is it over already?”
RJ:
“She has the leg hooked…one…two…no, she only got a two!”
MS:
“Luck prevails again, I suppose.”
::Apparently
cranky at not getting the pin there, Kelsia pulled her opponent up
and drove her into the corner again, lacing into her with more
backhand chops that quickly reddened her opponent’s chest.
Taking another moment to taunt the jeering fans, Kelsia drew the
Ghost from the corner and sent her into the ropes, nailing a back
elbow on her as she returned. An elbow drop afterwards got her
another two-count, and she took out her frustrations by trying to
throw the Ghost out of the ring. Thinking her disposed of for
the moment, Kelsia turned her back and didn’t see Aurora skin the
cat and flip back into the ring. A running knee to the spine
drove Kelsia into the ropes, and a Killswitch on the rebound nearly
earned Aurora a three-count…but Kelsia got a foot on the
ropes.::
::Slapping the forehead of her rival with more
ferocity than usual, she pulled the woman up and tried to cinch her
in for the Dreamcatcher before Kelsia caught her arm and twisted
behind her to drive her to the mat with a reverse DDT. The blow
left both women on the mat, however, prompting the referee to start
counting them out.::
“One…two…”
MS: “They’ve
already snacked on one another’s finishers but neither has given up
yet. Both of them have to be careful here since they have big
matches coming up in a week.”
RJ: “They can’t push
themselves too hard here, but that’s the only way one of them will
win.”
“Three…four…five…”
::At
four, Aurora began to stir, but slowly…rolling onto her side and
then her front as she began to push herself up. Kelsia, nearer
to the ropes, used them to get to her feet around seven…the same
time that Aurora rose fully. The match back under way, Kelsia
came in swinging and topped off her assault with a dropkick that sent
Aurora into the ropes. They were all that held her up right
now, but she had the wherewithal to elevate Kelsia over them when she
rushed in again, though the woman landed no her feet cat-like on the
apron. A grab of the hair nearly drove Aurora down again, but
she twisted into the grip and nailed a hard slap across Kelsia’s
face that shook her off her game. A shoulder between the ropes
doubled her over and Aurora wasted little time drawing her into the
ring, feet draped over the ropes before driving her down with an
elevated DDT and going for the pin.::
RJ: “Only a
two-count…but a long one!”
MS: “Aurora used the ropes to
spike Kelsia and then Kelsia used them to save her hide. One
hand washes the other, I suppose.”
::The glare that Aurora
gave to her downed opponent and then to…something…outside the
ring showed her irritation with her opponent’s tenacity, but it
turned into a smile as she lifted the woman up and cinched her in for
a second Dreamcatcher attempt. Kelsia squirmed out of it though
and raked the eyes to create some distance. The referee’s
admonishment meant little to her as she scooped Aurora up and drove
her to the mat with a slam before scaling the nearby turnbuckles,
albeit slowly due to the impact of the DDT. Reaching the top,
she leapt off almost immediately with an impressive Shooting Star
press. The blow was blocked by the knees of her opponent
however, and the impact worked against her. The shot took
something out of Aurora too due to Kelsia’s velocity, and both were
slow to rise. Trading chops briefly, Kelsia surprised Aurora
with a kick and a powerbomb, but her attempted bridge pin was
countered into a backslide which earned a two-count for Aurora.
Rising to her feet quickly from the backslide, she went for a
clothesline but had it turned into a crucifix by Aurora, who only
managed another two-count.::
RJ:
“Getting eager to end it now…but Aurora’s on the attack this
time and Kelsia doesn’t seem to have an answer for it.”
MS:
“Wait a minute…I think her answer has just arrived!”
RJ:
“What the…oh, great…!”
::The fans’ reactions changed
now, though, as Tony rushed the ring, getting up onto the apron and
yelling at Kelsia, which prompted the referee to step in and try to
get him to leave. Adrean took a side route and came to the
other side of the ring near the downed Kelsia, handing her a pair of
brass knuckles. With an expression that was equal parts smile
and snarl, Kelsia closed her hand around the knuckles and got to her
feet, waiting for Aurora to turn her attention from Tony and turn
around. As soon as she did, Kelsia threw a punch but had it
blocked and responded to with a forearm. The blow jarred her,
but Aurora’s clothesline attempt served as another inadvertent
opening, and when she turned after Kelsia ducked she found herself
decked with a blow that sent her hair straight up before she hit the
mat. Throwing the knucks back to Adrean outside the ring before
the ref turned, she watched Tony drop from the apron and screamed at
the referee to make the count…which made it to three.::
RJ:
“Of all the dirty tricks…! So much for her little friends
not interfering in the match!”
MS: “Like she’d miss a chance to take out Aurora after all the talk last week? Yeah, right. How gullible are you, Robbie?”
HL: “The winner of the match…”
::But
she never had time to announce the winner, as Kelsia had mounted
Aurora and begun to pound on her, the slight cut from the knuckles
opening further under the assault. Tony and Adrean outside the
ring were egging Kelsia on and when the referee stepped in, they
pulled him out of the ring and threw him aside, threatening him to
stay out of it.::
MS: “She keeps this up and Aurora won’t
be doing anything this Sunday except laying in bed with ice on her
face!”
RJ: “Someone needs to get out here get this crazy
woman out of here!”
::Out of the backstage area, almost on
cue, came Roric Draygon, still in ring gear, who rushed down the ramp
and met Tony and Adrean at the bottom. Brawling with them
briefly, he ducked a punch from Adrean and drove him hard to the
mat-covered floor with a spinebuster. Tony’s attack from
behind stalled him briefly, but Roric fought back with a headbutt
across the bridge of his nose and a big boot that knocked him down
next to his crony. Kelsia had caught sight of Roric by now, and
when he rolled into the ring to go after her, she bailed out quickly,
gathering up her associates before backing away towards the
ramp.::
MS: “Figures he’d stick his nose in for his little
friend there…like he doesn’t have enough to worry about
already.”
RJ: “You make helping a friend sound like a
crime, Mitchell.”
::Keeping his eyes on Kelsia and her
associates, Roric knelt down by Aurora and checked over the wound on
her forehead, but quickly rushed the ropes when the three attackers
tried to roll back in, once more chasing them back. He kept
himself between them and Aurora until “Enough” hit the speakers
and Snake once more stepped out onto the stage, microphone in hand
and a smirk on his face.::
Snake: “Once more playing the
hero, Roric? That brings back memories. But this time
you’ll have to defer to my decisions. And after watching the
outcome of this match…” ::He glared down towards Kelsia and
her troupe, then looked towards the ring again.:: “…I’ve
decided to overturn the decision. The winner of the match is
Aurora Jansen by virtue of disqualification.”
::Kelsia and
her crew looked daggers at Snake, and she actually tried to go for
him to get in his face…but her men held her back while he leveled
another withering stare her way.::
Snake: “Better luck next
time, Kelsia. Now get the hell out of my sight.”
::Snarling out the words, he quickly turned his attention back to the
ring where Roric was once more knelt at Aurora’s side though his
eyes were on Snake.:: “You’re not the only one who can play
the hero, Guardian. When she wakes up, tell Aurora who gave her
the win.”
::With
a little chuckle, “Enough” hit once again as he made his way into
the back, leaving Roric to help Aurora to her feet and to the back.
The scene turned again to the announcers at this point with both
obviously having much different opinions of the previous
scene.::
MS: “I love it when Snake puts one over on
someone…he made Roric look like a chump, didn’t he?”
RJ:
“So he turned over the decision…big deal. I didn’t see
him making any moves to keep Aurora from getting beaten any worse by
that fireball Kelsia.
