HL: “Our next match this evening is a four-woman Elimination match where the winner will be named the number-one contender to the ACW Women’s Championship!  Introducing first, the special guest referee for this match…from Monaro, California…the reigning ACW Women’s Champion…Aurelei Phoenix!”

::”Awake” by Godsmack pounds through the speakers as Aurelei steps through the curtain with the Women’s Championship still around her waist.  She flashed a smile to the cheering fans and walked over to the top of the ramp as she un-strapped the belt from around her waist.  Holding it up high into the air prompted her usual wall of flames to erupt behind her.  Soaking in the power of the moment briefly, she lowered the belt over her shoulder, and made her way down to the ring, going to both sides of the rail to slap the hands of her fans.  Running the last few feet and leaping up onto the ring  and to the turnbuckles, she held the belt up high briefly, then stepped down into the ring and handed it off to the referee before taking up a position mid-ring near Heather Lee, turning her attention to the stage to await the participants.::

RJ: “Looks like she’s all business tonight, but she never fails to make a few moments for her fans.”

MS: “Why anyone would associate beyond these masses outside of what’s contractually obligated is beyond me.  But I admit to looking forward to her trying to keep law and order in this match.”

RJ: “No doubt her words made her a few more enemies before the match.”

MS: “I’m counting on that.”

HL: “And now for the competitors!  Coming down to the ring first from Dayton, Ohio and weighing in at 145 pounds…Aurora ‘Ghost’ Jansen!”

::For a moment there is silence; then what sounds like a static hiss before the first swell of her theme, “Cold” by Static-X, comes up. The lights dim except for two strong white lights towards the ACW-Tron, and the bass line of her theme has obviously been augmented to seem more like an arena-wide heartbeat, a pulse of energy to flow across the audience. On the screen above there comes an image of Aurora in what looks like a Victorian Era burial shroud, arms crossed over her chest, and fog effect rolls up from the entrance way, back lit with softer white light.::

::A soft voice breaks through the music, her voice apparently. "We are...."::

::The white lights on the ACW-Tron go black, and for a moment there is silence again, then the music swells up louder than before on the down beat of the chorus, when the word "Cold" is sung she appears, sprinting towards the ring, her arms up to sweep back the white hood, her black hair in a tight pony-tail to stream behind her. When she hits the ring apron she jumps to grab the middle rope, using her momentum to bring her right up on the apron and then she turns to face the ramp, arms going up over her head. A slow back flip into the ring and she slips out of the hoodie and flings it at one of the ring-handlers, moving to the center of the ring she strikes a classic strong-man style pose to show off her toned arms.::

::Despite her apparent disregard for being a fan-favorite or pleasing the majority of the crowd, she will take a few seconds before each match to acknowledge her special fans, people who bring signs for her, etc.::

RJ: “This young woman is dangerous…much more so than she appears.  And what’s with the way she always seems to be glaring at and talking to someone else who isn’t even there?  It’s creepy…”

MS: “You’re just weirded out by the fangs.  Personally, I think she’s pretty appealing…but I’ll be damned if I’m getting too close.”

HL: “And her first opponent…”

::The lights begin to fade, going practically to nothing before the music, “Trip” by Tony M. Black, hits. Emerging from behind the curtain is none other then Kelsia Vector. The crowd is cheering, she is a favorite as of late. A smile across her blush colored lips as she starts walking down the ramp to the ring. Alternating sides her hand comes in contact with few that she walks past on either side. When only a short walk to the ring remains she runs the rest of the way jumping up onto the side of said area. A look to the left, then the right before bending over to enter the ring between the middle and top ropes. Once in the ring she goes to the right far corner, jumping onto the middle rope her hands come to her lips before raising in the air, as if sending her love to her fans. Jumping down she does the same with the adjacent corner before coming to stand, facing her opponent.::

HL: “Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and weighing in at 130 pounds…Kelsia Vector!”

RJ: “Kelsia’s been doing a lot of talking, but after stating how she’s done with ACW now, I have to wonder why she’s even bothering with participating in this match.”

MS: “Because she doesn’t want to let Alexa get away with running her smart mouth.  Can you blame her?”

RJ: “Alexa does have a way of getting under a person’s skin…but Kelsia has a good future here if she sticks with it.  Here’s hoping she reconsiders.”

HL: “And the next participant…”

::Chords to "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes plays along the audio system. Lights dim out, then start to strobe. Various images of Alexa with her short run of opponents flash along the screens followed by her name.  Alexa charges from the back onto the platform of the entrance way, followed by a handspring. Once on her feet again her hands raise above her head. Ready to give the fans what they want. She makes her way down to the ring, slapping hands and high fiving, getting a positive rise from the fans. Charging the ring, Alexa slides under the bottom rope, hopping up onto her feet from her knees. Climbing the turnbuckles she raises her hands. Smiling and making like she is rooting for her favorite team. Moving to the opposing side of the ring, she mirrors her actions from before. Making her way to the middle of the ring, she stretches some…ready for her match, eyes only for her opponent for the night.::

HL: “From Danbury, Connecticut…weighing in at 160 pounds…Alexa Rose!”

MS: “Everyone says that this is the woman to watch in this match because she was already the number-one contender in their eyes before now.”

RJ: “I take it you feel differently?”

MS: “She has to earn it again like everyone else.  So what if she had the bad luck to be injured before going into her last title match?  That’s how this business goes!  She has to earn it, and after all her talking, that should be easy, right?”

RJ: “Maybe, but she made a good case for herself, I thought.”

HL: “And now, the final participant…”

::A distorted scream breaks out across the speaker system as the music, “Believe” by Breaking Benjamin, is pumped into the arena, Robin Mayfair stepping out from behind the curtain and looking out across the crowd with an impassive expression on her face. After a moment a grin cracks her lips and she lifts her arms above her head in a double wave, bumping her hips to the left and right briefly as the lyrics began to tumble from the wire mesh above. Dropping her arms, she walked slowly down the path to the ring with a bounce in her step, lips moving slightly to the lyrics of the first verse, a hand offering the occasional wave to anyone who reacted favorably to the woman before she got down to the ring.::

I don't care what you want, I just want mine! Shut up, smart little bitch, I don't need lies!
I don't care what you want, I just want mine! Get up, force it to fit, confined inside.

::Vaulting onto the apron, she pushed her hands against the turnbuckle and threw her lithe little body over the ropes and into the ring: skipping toward the centre where she would toss her head back and lift her arms: turning with a swirl of pleated skirt to double wave once, before settling back against the ropes and smiled, waiting.::

HL: “…from Tidworth, Britain and weighing in at 131 pounds…’Argent Dawn’ Robin Mayfair!”

MS: “More dangerous and more unhinged every week, Robbie.  How can someone so sweet get so evil?”

RJ: “The higher you rise, the farther you have to fall.  Robin feels bored and feels as though the world and ACW is conspiring against her.  True or otherwise, she feels that she’s in the right.  And you can’t argue with someone who feels that they’re beyond reproach.”

MS: “It’s just pulling more attention and more wrath onto herself.  She needs to focus on the task at hand before she gets too consumed to worry about her career.”

::Without waiting more than a moment, Aurelei called for the bell and the four women collided mid-ring.  Alexa and Kelsia dove for each other, with the latter tackling her opponent down to the mat and throwing wild punches before positions were reversed to allow Kelsia to deal her share of damage.  Though not as wildly, Aurora and Robin were trading hard blows themselves with their hands smacking against one another’s chests as they backed one another into the corner.  Alexa and Kelsia eventually got hung up in the ropes, with Alexa trying to press Kelsia’s neck down against the second rope.  Right on top of things, Aurelei began to count to five, only to have Alexa release on four.  But as soon as the count stopped, Alexa was on Kelsia again…and this time, Aurelei physically pulled Alexa off, vocally admonishing her for her actions.  The pause allowed Kelsia to turn around and land a right hand on Alexa, followed by a kick to the stomach and an attempt at a piledriver.  Alexa, not weakened enough yet, turned it into a back body drop and shot a look towards the referee before dropping a leg across Kelsia’s chest and going for a pin.  Aurelei dropped down to make the count, but only reached two before Kelsia kicked out.::

::On the other side of the ring, Aurora had hoisted Robin up onto the top rope, seating her there as she laced into her further with forehand and backhand chops.  Eventually, Robin blocked one of the shots and kicked Aurora squarely in the chest, forcing her back.  The blow only momentarily stunned her, but the double-foot kick from Robin did a better job, allowing her to come off with a missile dropkick.  The impact knocked Aurora onto her back and rolled her onto her stomach, and Robin was quick to go for a cover.  Despite Aurelei’s perfect positioning, she only gained a two-count.  Alexa, having recovered enough to get to her feet, Irish whipped Kelsia towards the now-upright Robin…though Kelsia was able to stop before colliding.  Alexa followed up with a hard tackle that sent the two women together at the head anyway, the impact knocking both to the mat.::

RJ: “Not much in the way of technical prowess showing just yet, Mitchell!  These women seem content to just beat the hell out of one another.”

MS: “There’s no time to be fancy and technical when you have three other women in the ring with you.  Stick to high-impact moves and try to beat them into submission.  Worry about being fancy when it’s down to two.”

::Aurora, mostly unattended at this point, was able to pull herself up and rush Alexa from behind, taking advantage of her trash-talking tirade against Kelsia.  With the latter down and Robin out of the ring recovering, Aurora hooked in Alexa for a full-nelson bomb and drove her down to the mat hard.  Getting back up to her feet quickly, she began stomping away at the back of her downed opponent, only to pull her back up and put her down with a spike DDT.  The attempted pin got her a two-count, but instead of pulling Alexa up, she locked in a bow-and-arrow hold to put more pressure on Alexa’s back.  The larger woman strained at her opponent’s grip and managed to pull away, nailing the sitting-up Aurora with a low drop kick to her chest.::

::Sent back to the mat hard, Aurora would have been easy pickings for Alexa had Kelsia not made it back in.  She drew back Alexa’s head in preparation for a Cronic DDT, but Alexa slipped the hold and returned the favor with a belly-to-back suplex.  Both needed a moment to get back up to their feet, but once they did they were reduced to throwing hard forearms at one another.  Robin, who had since recovered, slowly ascended to the top rope, measuring the brawlers before coming up with a high cross body that took both of them to the mat.  She first went for a pin on Kelsia, but only managed two…and didn’t have much better luck in her attempt on Alexa.::

RJ: “They’re just picking each others’ bones and hoping for a good result…but at this point, there’s not much else to do.”

MS: “No need to break up pins yet, either…if at all.  Not being a one-fall match, there’s some leeway there.   You don’t have to worry as much about the other people.”

RJ: “Within reason.”

::Perhaps seeing Alexa as the bigger threat, Robin drew Aurora up to her feet and hurled her out of the ring, turning her attention back to the former number-one contender.  Each in turn, she nailed Alexa with a spinning heel kick, a snap leg drop and then pulled her up for a fisherman’s suplex.  The blows left Alexa near motionless on the mat, but as Robin went for the pin, Kelsia pulled her off and began laying in stomps to Alexa.  Shoving the interloper away, Robin dropped down for a pin but only managed a two before Kelsia once again interfered, mounting Alexa and firing off right hands.  Grabbing her by the hair, Robin pulled her away and began arguing with her briefly before Kelsia shocked her with an open-handed slap.  Responding by spearing her to the mat, Robin quickly pulled Kelsia back up and rocked her with a European uppercut followed by a bridged German suplex that earned her a two-count.  Back into the ring now, Aurora stalked Robin from behind just like her nickname…waiting for a moment to strike.  As soon as Robin turned around, she rushed in with her own spinning heel kick, knocking Robin into the turnbuckles.::

MS: “They just can’t escape one another…you put one down, two more get up and come at you!”

RJ: “The action never stops, but both Alexa and Kelsia seem to have taken the worst of it so far.”

::Alexa was indeed slow to rise, keeping back for a moment as Aurora drove several high kicks towards Robin’s chest and head.  Leaping up onto the turnbuckles herself, she drove the former United States and Women’s champion down to the mat with a reverse tornado DDT.  Aurelei dropped down for the count, but only reached two-and-seven-eighths.  A little frustrated, Aurora briefly questioned the count before turning into a chop and another European uppercut from Robin.  Still a bit groggy from the DDT, she managed to leap up onto Aurora’s shoulders and tumble forward for a victory roll.  But mid-move, Aurora dropped down onto her knees and locked her hands, trapping Robin with her shoulders down.::

ONE…TWO…THREE!

::The move came out of nowhere and even Aurora looked surprised at the three-count.  Robin, perhaps more surprised than anyone, rolled out of the ring and looked up at Aurora briefly with something akin to an impressed expression before making her way to the back.::

HL: “Robin Mayfair has been eliminated!”

MS: “Down to three now…let’s see how this changes things around!”

RJ: “It certainly isn’t tempering the hostility between Alexa and Kelsia!  Look at them go!”

::While Aurora was busy with Robin, Kelsia and Alexa were brawling near the ropes.  After ducking a clothesline attempt, Alexa put her shoulder to Kelsia’s midsection and hauled her towards the turnbuckles, slamming knees into her stomach until she was unable to defend herself.  Aurelei had to step into separate the two, once more arguing with Alexa…who took a shot over Aurelei’s head from Kelsia.  Turning to face the perpetrator, Aurelei was in her face immediately, threatening her with disqualification.  Brushing her off, Kelsia got a signal from Aurora and whipped Alexa in her direction.  But Alexa acted quickly and speared Aurora into the corner, driving in a few more shoulders before she was pulled back by Kelsia and driven down with a chokeslam.  Dropping into her for the pin, she failed to hook the leg and only managed a two-count.  Rising and executing a piledriver only gained her another two-count, albeit a longer one.  Aurora rose up onto the second rope and aimed a missile dropkick at the slowly rising Alexa…only to have her drop out of the way, the impact knocking Kelsia back hard.  Aurora didn’t look the least bit bothered by it, and changed her focus to Kelsia.::

RJ: “So much for that little alliance.  But they’re made to be broken in matches like these.”

MS: “Aurora is smart not to stress over it, but she’d better keep an eye on Kelsia after that shot.”

::A few hard kicks stunned Alexa once she was brought up to her feet, but she caught one of the higher kicks and drove Aurora to the mat with her own version of the chokeslam.  Invigorated, but still worn down, Alexa was up on her feet quickly, watching both her downed opponents…just waiting for that chance to strike.  Both rose near simultaneously, and the closer Aurora was deemed her target as she ran in for a spear.  At the last moment, Aurora sidestepped and sent Alexa careening into Kelsia, who was nearly knocked out of the ring by the impact.  She managed to catch herself in the ropes, though, as Alexa turned to go after Aurora, instead getting caught by a stiff atomic drop.  Moving in from behind, Kelsia cinched Alexa in for the Full Nelson Bomb and drove her down hard to the mat.  The shocks sent up Alexa’s spine were just enough to keep her down once Kelsia hooked the leg.::

ONE…TWO…THREE!

HL: “Alexa Rose has been eliminated!”

::Alexa rolled out of the ring near the steps, taking a few moments to regain her breath.  Kelsia gave her one long smirk as she did so, then turned back to her last opponent.::

RJ: “Now there’s a shocker!  They had just enough of an alliance to allow for Aurora and Kelsia to take Alexa out of the match.”

MS: “And now it’s down to the newcomers.  I wonder which one will come out on top?”

::There was a slight smirk on the guest referee’s face as she realized what the commentators had just said.  The two women looked at her, then each other…and didn’t waste much time rushing in and continuing the carnage.  Forearms and chops were traded back and forth before Kelsia slipped in with an arm around Aurora’s chest as she attempted to set her up for an STO.  Aurora elbowed her way out and attempted to cinch Kelsia in for a pumphandle slam, but the woman wiggled out of it and landed behind her.  Grabbing her by the head, Kelsia drove Aurora to the mat with a neckbreaker and floated into the pin, gaining a two-count.  Bringing Aurora back up, Kelsia scooped her into the air and drove her down with a body slam.  Bringing her into a sitting-up position and throwing a few right hands to keep her groggy, Kelsia hit the ropes and ran in for what looked like a shining wizard.  Aurora would smartly lie back, however, and pulled Kelsia’s other leg from under her.  Once she was down on the mat, Aurora attempted to work her into an armbar, but Kelsia was able to roll out of it and up to her feet, landing a hard running kick before Aurora could regain her bearings.::

::Quickly pulling her up, Kelsia attempted to lock in her Cronic DDT again, but found herself flipped overhead and into the same position.  Aurora prepared to drop her backwards, but the flexible Kelsia got a leg up and struck Aurora between the eyes.  Twisting out of her opponents grip and transitioning into her own again, she flipped back and spiked Aurora to the mat.::

RJ: “Cronic DDT!  Is that enough to keep Aurora down?”

MS: “After that kick to the face, it might just be academic!”

::But the pin only got Kelsia a long two-count, and she rose frustrated, getting in the face of Aurelei.  The referee didn’t back down, telling her that it was two.  They argued back and forth for a moment before Aurora got up and attempted a rear attack on Kelsia.  Aurelei moved just in time to avoid impact, Kelsia hitting the ropes and rebounding from the impact, twisted right into a Dreamcatcher from Aurora.  Floating into her own cover, Aurora as well could only manage a two-count as Kelsia got her foot onto the ropes.  It was close enough to three to make Aurora question the referee, and that pause allowed Kelsia to get Aurora over with a roll-up, one foot on the ropes for leverage as the three-count finally registered.::

ONE…TWO…THREE!

::Calling for the bell, Aurelei brought Kelsia up to her feet and raised her arm respectfully, showing no favoritism in the outcome of the match.  Kelsia look as surprised as anyone, but Aurora looked rather shocked.::

HL: “The winner of the match and the number-one contender for the Women’s Championship…Kelsia Vector!”

RJ: “Forgetting for the moment that she needed leverage from the ropes to get that win, it’s an impressive win for the newcomer.”

MS: “But will it be enough to make her stick around…that’s the question.”

::After winning not only her first match in ACW, but the match for the number-one contender’s spot as well, Kelsia got an evil grin on her face. She rolled out of the ring almost instantly and looked under the ring before pulling something out from under it. Much like that sketch it was none other then a pipe.  Thin but all metal and ready to do the job it needed to do. Sliding back into the ring, she looked over to Alexa, who had remained at ringside for the rest of the match and had rolled back in to speak with her partner, probably to question the decision.  Neither saw Kelsia coming, and as Alexa turned around she was hit with that pipe across her midsection which caused her to double over.  Kelsia came bouncing off the rope only to jump and lift her leg up over Alexa’s neck and let gravity do the rest to drive her face into the mat. Kelsia quickly rolled out of the ring before Aurelei could get her hands on the woman.  That pipe still in her hand, she taunted the two as Aurelei, wanting to give chase, instead remained in the ring tending to Alexa, glaring at the new number-one contender.  Kelsia was heard yelling and her words were loud and clear.::

Kelsia: "I told you that you would get what was coming to you Alexa!  How is that from the new girl?"

::She backed up the ramp and the fans who usually cheered had finally turned and started booing Kelsia Vector.::

MS: “Fair’s fair…she did warn Alexa!  The big mouth got what she had coming to her!”

RJ: “I’d ask how you can condone those actions, but knowing you I wouldn’t care for the answer.  All she’s done is put more desire in Aurelei to beat her, though.”
