Tag Team Match

The lights dim, and the sound of a radio scanning quickly through the dial fills the silence. Gowan's voice blasts through the speakers, screaming: "fire it up!" before being replaced with the unmistakable intro of "Tom Sawyer" by Rush.

A modern-day warrior
Mean mean stride,
Today's Tom Sawyer
Mean mean pride.

The volume grows over the sound system, getting a huge pop from the female fans in attendance. LG and CJ Wylde appear at the top of the ramp, all fists pumping in the air as the orange spots flare brighter, before pillars of flame burst from the stage around him

Though his mind is not for rent,
Don't put him down as arrogant.
His reserve, a quiet defence,
Riding out the day's events.
The river.

After slapping hands with everyone they can reach along the aisle, they sprint the rest of the way to the ring, hopping up on the apron. With a grin, he pulls off his leather vest and tosses it up in the air before springing over the rope in his usual exuberant fashion.

Ron Hayes: "The following match is scheduled for one fall and is a Tag Team Match. Introducing first, at a combined weight of 375lbs, the team of Larry Gowan and CJ Wylde!"

An instrumental of the starting chorus to Eminem's Not Afraid starts to play over the PA system as the lights fade putting the arena into total darkness. Just as the chorus would end there is a bang as the lights turn back on full blast and a cloud of smoke is on the entrance way with a figure standing within it. The chorus starts up once more but this time with the lyrics included as none other then Kaylyn James alongside Oblivion steps out from within the smokey patch on the stage. They both run down the entrance ramp and slide into the ring, eager to get this one started.

Ron Hayes: "And their opponents, at a combined weight of 424lbs, Kaylyn James Evans and Oblivion!"

Larry Gowan starts in the ring with a Oblivion, both men locking up in the center. Oblivion uses his weight advantage to twist Gowan's arm and into a Hammerlock, switching to a Headlock and then a Headlock Take-Down. Oblivion keeps the headlock on and wrenches the neck until CJ Wylde starts stomping on the canvas, trying to get his partner some momentum. Larry begins a fight back, rolling to his knees and using his Elbows to power out with shots to the stomach. He storms away from Oblivion and into the ropes, returning with a High Crossbody Block. Oblivion pops quickly back to his feet and walks very quickly into a Jumping Hurricanranna, Larry flipping him over and then making the tag to CJ Wylde. CJ enters behind Oblivion and targets stomps to his back and side before helping him back to his feet and backing him into the ropes. He tries to whip him across but Oblivion is too strong and reverses, Belly to Belly Suplex! CJ crunches off the canvas and is quickly covered... One... Two.. Kick Out! Oblivion pops back to his feet and pulls Wylde with him, an uppercut and some right hands send the youngster to the corner and Oblivion wastes no time connecting with a Running Clothesline.

Oblivion decides to pull him from one side of the ring to the other and begins stomping away at him, isolating him away from being able to make a tag to Larry Gowan. Oblivion lifts him up and pulls him into a DDT, planting him hard head first into the canvas. He makes the tag to Kaylyn James who pulls herself over the top rope with a Spring that drives both knees in the chest of poor CJ Wylde. She covers, arm in the face and the leg hooked.. One... Two.. Kick Out! Evans pulls him back to his feet and whips him into the ropes, Neckbreaker! She could cover but this time rushes over to Larry Gowan with a right hand that knocks him off the ring apron. Turning back around to Wylde she notices him using the ropes to get back up and quickly attacks with a knee to the stomach. Kaylyn ties him up in the ropes and distracts the referee allowing Oblivion to strangle poor Wylde from behind, Evans taking her time and then rushing him with a Clothesline that CJ somehow reverses, sending Kaylyn James over the top rope and to the floor below. The overhead reversal bought him some time and he needed to make the tag. Wylde crawled across the floor towards The White Knight who was ready to get back in, The Fixer though stepping over the barricade at ringside and pulling Larry off the ring apron.

The fans roar with boo's as The Fixer throws poor Gowan into the barricade and leaves CJ Wylde high and dry in the ring. CJ gets back to his feet and see's what's going on, turning around to Kaylyn James and ducking a Clothesline. He pulls out some hard right hands out of nothing to a tremendous ovation, connecting with a Snap Suplex. CJ takes his time getting back to his feet but he's feeling the adrenaline now, he's feeling the urgency and drops her again, this time with a beautifully connected DDT. He rolls into the cover... One... Two.. Kick Out! The Monster Oblivion meanwhile poises himself on the ring apron, ready to strike at any moment and the odds are well and truly stacked against poor CJ Wylde. CJ gets back to his feet and hits the ropes, Flying Double Axe Handle to Kaylyn! Oblivion though has seen enough and enters the ring, swinging wildly at a nimble CJ Wylde who manages to duck and escape the clubbing blow. Wylde spins Oblivion to face him, the monster though kicking him hard into the gut and pulls Wylde onto his shoulders in position for the Airplane Spin.. 5150!! WHAM! He drops him hard onto the canvas with a RKO like move that surely finishes this one up. Oblivion pulls Kaylyn on top of CJ Wylde and exits the ring... One..... Two... LARRY GOWAN BREAKS UP THE FALL!! Larry somehow made his way back into the ring and broke it up! He heads back to the ring apron and begs for the tag, CJ Wylde slowly crawling over to the corner whilst Kaylyn does the same. CJ reaches Larry first and he storms the ring, Clothesline to Oblivion on the apron! He turns around and grabs the getting up Kaylyn by the head, BAM SAID THE LADY!! CONNECTED! He covers.. One.... Two... Three!! The undefeated streak continues! Larry Gowan off the hot tag put this one away and no-body can believe it. The Fixer pulls Kaylyn from the ring as Gowan checks on CJ Wylde.
