Chase Sovereign vs. Corey Black vs. Donovan Carter vs. Kaylyn James Evans vs. Neville Sheldon vs. Dynamite
TNT by AC/DC is heard and the crowd roars as Dynamite steps out from the back. A towel in his right hand, he takes a look around at the crowd from the top of the ramp and nods his head, then makes his way down to the ring. Dynamite slides in under the bottom rope and climbs the near middle turnbuckle, raising his right hand and waving the towel around in a circle before pounding his chest and then hops down from the turnbuckle, turning to face the entrance ramp.
Mitch Law: "Oh boy, it looks like Dynamite is going to kick this thing off here tonight."
Ryan Johnson: "And his opponent is.."
“Through the Fire and the Flames” by Dragonforce plays beautifully across the speakers and the fans rise to their feet in ovation. Neville Sheldon steps onto the entrance ramp in his white gym short like trunks, kneepads and boots. He looks around the cheering crowd and waves a hand in thank you prior to jogging down the entrance ramp and rolling under the bottom rope.
Mitch Law: "That'll settle some differences!"
DING DING!!
Neville Sheldon and Dynamite start off cautiously, circling each other in the ring before eventually locking up. Dynamite turns Neville down by grabbing his arm and applying an Armbar, Neville front flipping out of it impressively and twisting the arm bar into one of his own, applying a Hammerlock. Dynamite rushes into the ropes and grabs on with a spare hand, leaning back to send Sheldon rolling off and turns around into a big Dropkick that connects on the button. Neville drops down and starts pounding away at the Silent One before Dynamite rolls under the bottom rope to escape the blows. He stands on the outside recovering and Neville takes a large run up, hitting the ropes and barrelling back with a Suicide Dive!!
Ryan Johnson: "Suicide Dive!! Neville Sheldon!!"
Mitch Law: "I've never seen him do that in my life."
Neville gets back up and looks shocked that he did it and connected, helping Dynamite up by his head and running him into the barricade. Neville is looking to be the aggressor here and anything goes, a Low Blow really getting the crowd pumped. Surprised at himself, Sheldon takes Dynamite from the barricade and runs him straight into the underneath of one of the ladders stood at ring side, taking him down with almost a Clothesline. Sheldon stomps away at his head and shoulders, pushing the ladder off him and to the floor before closing it up.
Ryan Johnson: "What's he got planned here?"
Mitch Law: "He's got the ladder and he plants it straight across the chest of Dynamite! Neville Sheldon has come to play here tonight RJ."
Ryan Johnson: "Play? He's in control!"
The NERD takes his opportunity and grabs the ladder, sliding it back into the ring. He slides in with a follow and picks it up, setting it under the briefcase with a contract inside and settling himself. He looks up and then at the roaring cheers from the audience, slowly but surely taking it one step at a time and climbing the dreaded ladder.
Mitch Law: "Don't forget that one of these competitors can win the Invasion Match before anyone else enters the ring."
Ryan Johnson: "That's the advantage of an early draw. The disadvantage is that the longer the match goes on, the harder it becomes for those who entered first."
He's about half way up when Dynamite creeps back into the ring behind, immediately spring boarding off the middle rope whilst into the ring to athletically land on the ladder with Neville. The crowd roar at his cat like agility as Dynamite lands perfectly and climbs a few rungs to meet Sheldon with some right hands. Each man now stands on opposite sides of the ladder, Dynamite with stiff shots that eventually knock Neville from the ladder to the canvas with an almighty crash. Dynamite takes a few more steps and reaches up.
Mitch Law: "He's going to do it! Dynamite is going to win the Invasion Match!"
Ryan Johnson: "Already!?"
BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
The lights in the arena dim with only flickers of blue lights flashing all over the arena. Shots of Miami appear on the screen showing various buildings and streets. Finally the name CARTER appears in bold black and gray letters followed by scenes of in-ring action of Donovan followed by dollar bills filling up the screen. “Money to Blow” by Birdman hits as Donovan slowly walks around to a booing crowd. He pauses at the top of the rampway and he grins looking both ways soaking in the crowd’s ovation. He then makes a b-line for the ring.
Mitch Law: "Here comes Cash!!"
Ryan Johnson: "He'd better be quick, Dynamite is trying to grab that briefcase, all he has to do is unlock it."
Carter slides into the ring and pushes the ladder with all his might, sending Dynamite flying off and groin first into the top rope!! The Silent One almost had this one in the bag but now Donovan Carter is taking care of business. Carter grabs Neville as he gets back to his feet and lifts him into a Backbreaker, working on the back that landed hard only moments ago. Dynamite meanwhile has un-hung himself groin first from the top rope and stumbles towards Cash who catches him with a Powerful Clothesline. Carter has to make this domination count for something and pulls Dynamite to his feet, planting him with a Belly to Belly Suplex.
Mitch Law: "Now Donovan is going for the ladder."
Ryan Johnson: "He's put both Neville and Dynamite down on the canvas, it's worth a try about now."
Donovan sets the ladder back up and starts his ascent, climbing it rung by rung until he's mid-way up and double checks the status of his opponents. Neville is stirring but Carter doesn't mind that and finds himself at the top, reaching for the contract. He reaches up but here comes Neville Sheldon, up the ladder behind Donovan as quickly as he can. He gets behind him and receives some back elbows for his trouble, Carter fighting back as Sheldon attempts to take him down. Dynamite is now back up too and climbs the opposite side, making all three opponents on the ladder.
Mitch Law: "This is a dangerous situation RJ. Carter is fending off Sheldon but Dynamite could easily snatch it from the other side."
With a final back elbow, Carter knocks Sheldon back to the canvas.
Ryan Johnson: "There goes NTS."
Mitch Law: "But Dynamite with some right hands!"
Dynamite reaches around the ladder with some fierce shots that really catch Carter in the jaw, stopping him from being able to climb any further. Cash needs to try and level some shots back and instead reaches through the rungs to pull Dynamite hard and fast into the ladder, pinging him off and to the canvas. That kind of ingenuity wins this kind of match and all Carter has to do is climb a little higher and he can take the contract. He takes another step up the ring but like Speedy Gonzales himself, Sheldon is up and grabbing his other leg. Donovan tries to kick out, shaking himself in hopes of getting free but Neville as thin as he is, dives through a rung of the ladder feet first, holding on for dear life whilst trapped between two of the middle rungs.
Ryan Johnson: "Wow, now that's something!"
Mitch Law: "Cash isn't going anywhere, Neville has him well and truly trapped."
Ryan Johnson: "But Dynamite on the other hand, he's pushing the ladder! Don't do that!"
The ladder suddenly tips and sends Donovan Carter barrelling over the top rope and to the floor below, Neville meanwhile forced to let go of his leg and laying helpless between two of the rungs. Dynamite drops to his knees and with right hands, starts working over Neville Sheldon.
An instrumental of the starting chorus to Eminem’s Not Afraid starts to play over the PA system as the lights fade putting the arena into total darkness. Just as the chorus would end there is a bang as the lights turn back on full blast and a cloud of smoke is on the entrance way with a figure standing within it. The chorus starts up once more but this time with the lyrics included as none other then Kaylyn James steps out from within the smokey patch on the stage with a ladder in hand.
Mitch Law: "Well this isn't good for NTS because here comes the perfect ten!"
Kaylyn runs down to the ring with a ladder in hand, rushing past Carter and sliding it into the ring amongst the action. Donovan is hurt on the outside but that doesn't stop Kay from connecting with a Low Dropkick to his head and shoulders whilst he crawls on the outside. She gets straight back up and slides into the ring, attacking Dynamite with a Shinning Wizard as he kneels punching Neville, almost taking his head right off. Neville by now slides out of his predicament but Dynamite has already done the damage. Evans grabs the ladder she slid in and sets it up in the corner, placing it there led against the turnbuckles before turning to get the other ladder. She takes it from the carnage and sets it up in the middle of the ring.
Mitch Law: "What's she doing?"
Ryan Johnson: "She obviously has some kind of plan here."
Kaylyn walks over to the already placed ladder and lifts it up, placing it on the top turnbuckle and the ladder in the center, stretching it across the ring. She climbs the opposite side, having blocked off anyone stupid enough to meet her.
Mitch Law: "That's ingenious! She's saying that if someone wants to stop her, they have to go on the other side of that ladder and to do that means you may just end up through it, we've seen that before."
She's quite close to the top very quickly before Dynamite is back to his feet, climbing up behind her.
Ryan Johnson: "Here comes the big man."
Dynamite looks to try and grab her but she swings herself athletically around the ladder to the other side, amazing the crowd here in The Sanctuary. Her cat like prowess now has her stood on the other side of the ladder with a ladder below her. Dynamite recovers from his surprise quickly and starts to climb, both of them heading to the top.
Mitch Law: "But Neville Sheldon is back up!"
Neville Sheldon meanwhile goes to the ladder laid across the turnbuckle and unhooks it, using it to tip the ladder in which Kaylyn and Dynamite both stand.
Ryan Johnson: "There's just no way!!"
Mitch Law: "He's doing it!! It's leveraging that ladder up!!"
He leverages the ladder but from behind with a Low Blow comes Donovan Carter, stopping him in his tracks. Neville falls down and lets the ladder drop, the ladder now laid at an angle from the ladder in which Kaylyn and Dynamite occupy and the canvas. Carter goes straight around it to find Dynamite who drops off, smartly realizing that being upon that ladder wasn't a good idea. Kaylyn on the other hand thinks the same and drops off with an Epic Legdrop, landing across Neville Sheldon's head and the ladder he rested upon, holding his jewels!
Ryan Johnson: "OH MY!!"
Mitch Law: "That wasn't Neville Sheldon's best idea was it!?"
BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Guitar rifts are heard through the building as “Born to be your Baby” by House of Lords plays through the building. As the lyrics to the song chime in, out from the back steps Chase Sovereign with a large smile on his face. He quickly rushes down to the ring.
Ryan Johnson: "The Metrosexual is in the house!!"
Chase rushes down the entrance ramp and slides into the ring, taking out Dynamite with a massive Clothesline before turning to Carter and doing the same. He looks over at Kaylyn who gets up and walks towards him, face to face, nose to nose in the middle of the ring. Neville meanwhile has a busted face and blood trickles from his nose thanks to that Legdrop and he rolls to safety on the outside. Kaylyn and Chase talk to each other before nodding and each grabbing one side of the ladder to set it up.
Mitch Law: "Wait a minute, it seems like they have a plan."
Ryan Johnson: "Are they working together?"
They set the ladder up and begin to climb, doing exactly that.
Mitch Law: "They know that Shayde and Chameleon joint won this thing one year ago and they're trying to repeat history."
Ryan Johnson: "What a bloody good idea."
With each of them on one side of the ladder and climbing, Dynamite and Donovan Carter have realized what's going on and nod between themselves before going up after the conspirators.
Mitch Law: "It looks like they have some competition on the joining of forces front."
Before you know it, Dynamite has his arms locked around Chase and Kaylyn is trying to Elbow away from Carter. Just then into the ring slides a pissed off Neville Sheldon with a steel chair!! Neville crashes it upon the back of Donovan Carter, sending him falling to the canvas in a heap, arching his back in agony before winding up and crashing it against Kaylyn as well. The fans let out a crazy roar as a possessed Neville Sheldon storms around and does the same to Dynamite, then to Chase, laying out every single participant with a steel chair shot!! With all four of his opponents led on the canvas, Sheldon could climb the ladder but doesn't.
Ryan Johnson: "I've never seen Sheldon like this, he's pissed."
Mitch Law: "And looking extremely dangerous."
Neville drops the chair and grabs the ladder his head bounced off, blood still under his nose and puts it in the corner. He grabs Kaylyn James Evans and runs her face first into the ladder, leaving her propped up against it before going back to the steel chair. He picks it up and winds back, ready to slam it against her head and the ladder much like a con-chair-to when Chase fortunately grabs it from within his grasp. NTS turns around furiously to see a chair coming at him full force, ducking just in time and locking in the BOOK SMART!! BOOK SMART ON CHASE SOVEREIGN!!! Sovereign taps out crazily but there's no-where to go and no Submissions. He holds it in, locked in the center of the ring with all Sheldon's might!!
Ryan Johnson: "Jesus Christ what brutality!!"
Mitch Law: "Donovan Carter and Dynamite have no interest in stopping this."
Dynamite instead turns on Carter with a head butt out of no-where, Samoan Drop!! The Silent One quickly turns over to pummel on Donovan as Kaylyn stumbles from the corner and realizes that Sovereign is in a lot of trouble. She hits the ropes and connects with a Dropkick to Sheldon, low enough to force him to drop the hold. She gets straight back to her feet, as does Neville and KY BOMB!! KY BOMB!!! HOW DID SHE DO THAT!! She must of had some kind of adrenaline surge because she connects with a KY Bomb on Neville Sheldon that rattles his ass into the canvas.
Ryan Johnson: "That was a holy shit moment right there!"
BUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Red lights begin swirling around the arena as the lights slowly fade and “Blood and a Siren” by Index Case kicks in. The crowd begins head banging along, and when the lyrics come in, Corey Black emerges from the backstage area. He walks down to the ring looking focused.
Mitch Law: "This is the last one! Corey Black has invaded the Invasion Match!"
Black slides in behind Kaylyn and grabs her from behind, spinning her around. They both stand there for a minute, eye to eye before Dynamite sweeps in from behind and plants Black with a German Suplex!! Sovereign meanwhile is in pain on the outside but that hasn't stopped him from going under the ring and grabbing out a table. He sets it up and shouts into the ring at Kaylyn who in turn stomps Neville from it. Chase pulls Neville from the apron and lays him on the table. Sovereign slowly stumbles away and finds a ladder, dragging it over and placing it in front of Sheldon and the table, ready to climb it.
Ryan Johnson: "This looks insane."
Mitch Law: "Corey Black meanwhile just caught Dynamite with a Death Valley Driver!"
Ryan Johnson: "THE MONEY MAKER TO COREY BLACK!!! This is carnage!! Donovan just caught Black as he got back up and planted him with The Money Maker!!"
With Sovereign climbing the ladder on the outside, working his way 15 feet into the air, Kaylyn James Evans is about to help when Carter spins her around, looking for a Clothesline. She manages to duck under it and grabs him, looking for the KY Bomb. Of course Carter is far heavier than Neville and just stands there, smiling. She lets go and he spins around, about to grab her when she flicks up a Standing Kick and catches him right under the jaw.
The camera's now go straight to the outside where Chase Sovereign is one rung from being atop a fifteen foot ladder, his back to Neville Sheldon who lays upon a table below. He smiles and wobbles, getting to the top before letting fly and leaping backwards with the SMILE HIGH CLUB!! MOONSAULT!!
Mitch Law: "MOONSAULT FROM THE FIFTEEN FOOT LADDER!! OH MY GOD!!"
Ryan Johnson: "STRAIGHT THROUGH NEVILLE SHELDON AND THE TABLE!! JESUS CHRIST!! WHAT CARNAGE!!"
The sight of Chase Sovereign and Neville Sheldon trapped under the carnage of that table is a wreck, neither man moving as referee's rush to check on them. Kaylyn James Evans though grabs another ladder and sets it up in the middle of the ring, climbing it as if it's the only thing she can do right now. She gets half way up and Dynamite follows upon the opposite side, each now making their way to the very top where they exchange right hands, an exchange that Dynamite wins easily, leaving her held on for dear life but not moving. The Silent One could reach up and go for the briefcase that holds the contract but doesn't, instead climbing over so that he's sat on the top rung above Kaylyn. He reaches down and pulls her up with all his strength, somehow scooping him from the ladder to his shoulders.
Mitch Law: "Oh no.. oh my God no! You don't think he's going to do this? That's another human being."
Ryan Johnson: "SUPER DYNAMITE DRIVER!! SDD!!! SDD!!"
Dynamite drops from the top of the ladder to the canvas with a Island Driver, a Dynamite Driver, spiking poor Kaylyn's head into the canvas!! The fans gasp as he does, the carnage uncontrollable in the middle and outside of the ring. Corey Black stumbles to his feet just in time to see the impact and can't believe what he's witnessed. He goes to check on her but Donovan Carter comes from behind, spinning him around. Cash looks for the Money Maker but Black Elbows out of it and scoops him upon shoulders.. EMERALD FLOWSION!! Black drills him!!
Mitch Law: "Corey Black has lost it RJ, he's lost the damn plot."
Corey furiously gets to his feet, his eyes widen and goes straight after a recovering Dynamite, smashing him with Elbows and Kicks to the stomach, head and chest like a wild animal. He whips him into the ropes and connects with a thunderous Buisaku Knee!! Corey goes straight after him as he gets back up and lifts him upon shoulders, EMERALD FLOWSION!! ANOTHER!! THIS TIME TO DYNAMITE!! Corey is furious after what happened to Kaylyn and has lost the plot completely, lifting Dynamite back off the canvas and into a seated Abdominal Stretch, thrusting Elbows into the side of his head and neck.
Ryan Johnson: "Someone needs to get Corey away from Dynamite."
Mitch Law: "He's just lost it, he's completely lost it."
Ryan Johnson: "This one is no disqualification Mitch, no-one has to stop it."
By the time Donovan Carter comes from behind to drag Corey away, he must of hit over 50 plus furious Elbows into the face of Dynamite who just lays there unconscious on the canvas. Carter tries to spin Black for another Money Maker attempt but Black just lunges forward with a headbutt that completely stuns him. Corey moves in behind and kicks him in the back of the leg, forcing him to drop to one knee before using his weight to pressure Carter onto the canvas and into the same Abdominal Stretch position Dynamite was just in.
Mitch Law: "Not this again, this isn't good."
Black starts drilling him with Elbows but here comes Chase Sovereign of all people. Chase picks up the steel chair as he enters the ring and crashes it across the skull of Black, then across the skull of Carter for good measure. He has no idea what's just happened and looks at the carnage in the ring before dropping the chair and pulling the ladder a little more central.
Ryan Johnson: "Chase Sovereign is going to try and win this thing. Donovan Carter, Corey Black, Dynamite and Kaylyn James Evans aren't moving."
Mitch Law: "But Neville Sheldon is... How the hell is he up from that?"
Ryan Johnson: "Adrenaline probably? Sovereign is back up after all."
Mitch Law: "What's he doing?"
Instead of getting back into the ring and stopping Chase, a bloodied Neville with his nose slightly busted and his back sore, gets up and walks around the ring to the entrance ramp. Sovereign stops in his tracks and spots him, watching as Neville goes under the ring and pulls out one table, two tables, three tables, four tables, five tables and that's about all of them! Chase walks back down the ladder and leans on the ropes, watching as Neville oddly starts putting his tables together and on top of each other.
Ryan Johnson: "Is Neville okay?"
Mitch Law: "I think Chase thinks he may be concussed, everyone is looking at him as if he's insane."
Ryan Johnson: "Well he's just put four tables together in a row of two, two on top of two and is setting up the fifth right in front of them like a step."
Mitch Law: "Now he's climbing, first the single table and now he's stood upon two rows of two tables, calling for Sovereign."
Chase though turns around to Corey Black who connects with a Reverse Suplex to Cutter, crashing him hard into the canvas. Neville meanwhile gets down from his castle of tables and slides back into the ring. Donovan Carter gets back to his feet and as Neville enters, catches him with a big right hand that stumbles him backwards. Kaylyn is beginning to stir, as is Dynamite and now this match is beginning to get a little hectic again. Don pushes Neville into the corner before whipping him out and head first into the standing ladder, planting him on the canvas in a heap. He stumbles out himself and ducks an attempted Clothesline by Corey Black, kicking him in the gut and Gut Wrench Powerbomb!!
Dynamite is up and stumbling around, going straight for the ladder and taking it down, closing her up. He waits for Carter to get back to his feet and runs it at him, almost taking his head off with it. Kaylyn on the other hand slides to the outside and goes under the ring, finding another table and sliding that in with her opponents. She follows back in, slightly dazed but able to set up the table as Dynamite sets up the ladder. The Silent One is about to climb when Chase Sovereign attacks from behind with a hard forearm to the back of the head. The Metrosexual hits him with another, then another and connects with a Back Drop.
Ryan Johnson: "Kaylyn looks hurt, hell, most of these competitors look hurt."
Mitch Law: "But only one can win the Invasion Match and right now, Chase Sovereign and Kaylyn James Evans are the only people standing."
Chase climbs one side of the ladder and Kaylyn tries the other, both of them severely hurt and slowly making their ascents. Donovan Carter though has rolled to the outside and gotten himself another fifteen foot ladder, the same one Chase used earlier and slides it into the ring. Cash follows and picks it up, setting it next to the same ladder Chase and Kaylyn have climbed. The Money Maker begins his ascent, climbing up the ladder and getting to the same point as Kaylyn on the opposite side, punching away at her.
Kaylyn tries to fight back with some blocks and shots but they're slugging it out atop ladders with nothing but a mountain of tables in one direction and the announce tables in another. Dynamite quickly reaches the other side of Carters ladder and climbs up, attacking Sovereign with right hands. Theirs a four person brawl upon the ladders now and fists are flying.
Ryan Johnson: "This is so dangerous, so so dangerous."
All of a sudden Neville Sheldon pops up and moves himself around the ladders, pushing dangerously on the side of Dynamite and Donovan Carters.
Mitch Law: "Jesus Christ Neville, don't do it.. don't..."
CRAAAASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
"HOLY SHIT.. HOLY SHIT... HOLY SHIT... HOLY SHIT!!"
The fans roar as Neville Sheldon pushes Donovan Carters ladder with him and Dynamite on it into the ladder holding Chase Sovereign and Kaylyn James Evans, sending them both flying out of the ring and through all FIVE TABLES on the outside.
Ryan Johnson: "INCOMING..........."
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
Sheldon doesn't stop there and whilst still grasping the ladder with Dynamite and Donovan, pulls it forward upon himself and sending them both flying to the outside AND THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLES!! OH MY GOD!!! BODIES LITTER THE RINGSIDE AREA!!
The commentators had to dive out of the way as Carter and Dynamite flew through their table at ringside. The camera quickly takes a spin around the ring, Chase Sovereign and Kaylyn James Evans amongst five tables on the outside and Donovan Carter with Dynamite through the announce tables. Thankfully the commentary team aren't hurt but inside the ring, Neville Sheldon uses the ropes to pull himself up and assess the carnage he's caused.
"NEVILLE SHELDON... NEVILLE SHELDON.... NEVILLE SHELDON!!"
The roar of the crowd is deafening as Neville grabs one of the ladders and makes sure it's centred in the ring. He starts to climb it, taking every rung as it comes and trying to get to the top for the briefcase. Once there he reaches up, close, oh so close but HERE COMES COREY BLACK!! The only person besides Neville not to be crumpled through tables on the outside of the ring is up and up behind Sheldon! He climbs the ladder and finally gets behind Neville, BACK DROP OFF THE LADDER THROUGH THE TABLE KAYLYN SET UP EARLIER!! EVERYONE IS DOWN!! EVERYONE!!
Crackle.. Hiss.. Crackle!
Mitch Law: "Are we back on?"
Ryan Johnson: "I can hear you Mitch, I can hear you. That son of a bitch Neville Sheldon destroyed our announce tables."
Mitch Law: "I'm not worried about that, but look at Dynamite and Donovan Carter, they are hurt right by our feet."
Ryan Johnson: "Meanwhile inside the ring both Black and Sheldon are down."
Mitch Law: "Everyone is down RJ, everyone."
Ryan Johnson: "Well then the next person up is going to win this match aren't they? All it's going to take is for any of these six competitors to get back to their feet and climb that ladder and it's over."
Mitch Law: "Easier said than done, look at the carnage."
Ryan Johnson: "Well folks, let's take you back to a replay of what Neville Sheldon did to destroy our announce tables."
Mitch Law: "We're just filling time until SOMEBODY moves."
The footage comes back on to show Neville Sheldon pushing a ladder with Donovan Carter and Dynamite into a ladder with Chase Sovereign and Kaylyn James Evans. The force knocks and pushes over the latter's ladder, sending both of them flying outside of the ring and into the five tables Neville set up earlier. Then just as quickly as he's done that he pulls on the same ladder, pulling both Dynamite and Donovan Carter over the top rope and through the announce tables at ringside.
Ryan Johnson: "Unsurprisingly, it's Corey Black who is back to his feet first. All he has to do is climb that ladder and he wins the Invasion Match III."
He stumbles towards the ladder and makes sure it's centralized, using every bit of energy he has to then try and climb it. It's like watching a turtle make his move, he's slow, sloppy, falling down with one foot as he pulls himself up. Meanwhile it's Donovan Carter who has somehow gotten back to his feet on the outside, falling down almost as quickly as he got up. The fans are willing Black to climb, urging him on every rung but here comes Carter.
Carter pulls himself under the bottom rope and goes straight for the second ladder, lining it back up next to Black's and deciding to attempt an ascent up it. The referee meanwhile has moved the carnage of the table from Neville Sheldon and makes sure that nothing dangerous is sticking out because both men are now above it.
Mitch Law: "Donovan Carter is making his way up that second ladder and I don't like the look of this. What do you think he's going to do."
He turns his back to the rungs he's on, both he and Black too tired to climb anymore and reaches over, grabbing Corey into position and diving off the ladders.. MONEY MAKER FROM THE LADDER!! ROCK BOTTOM!! ROCK BOTTOM!! Both men crash into the canvas and shake it to it's very core. Kaylyn James Evans meanwhile is down and hurt on the outside but Chase Sovereign has used the barricade to steady himself back up. The Metrosexual is bleeding from a wound on his forehead after falling through those tables and hitting the concrete floor but that doesn't seem to stop him.
Ryan Johnson: "I can't for the life of me believe that Chase Sovereign is back up after that."
Mitch Law: "Even Dynamite is stirring on the ground in front of us, the resiliency of the athletes is incredible."
Ryan Johnson: "But only one can win the Invasion Match."
Instead of getting back into the ring, Chase stumbles forward towards another ladder and closes it up, sliding it in instead. He walks around the ring and gets a fourth, sliding that in too for good measure.
Mitch Law: "What's he doing? That makes four ladders in the ring right now."
He has some time to spare and slides in, folding the second ladder flat and moving it to one side. He centralizes the first and grabs another closed ladder, placing it on the middle rope and the inside locks so that it's at an angle. He does the same with another ladder on the opposite side so that three ladders are set up with one in the middle and two protruding from the middle of the ladder and sat upon the ropes.
Ryan Johnson: "This is screwed up."
Instead of leaving it at that, he slides to the outside and grabs Dynamite, pulling him back to his feet and rolling him back into the ring. Everyone bar Kaylyn is in there now and it's Chase Sovereign who's in control. He gets back in himself and tries to pull Dynamite to his feet, Dynamite instead punching at his mid-section with big right hands, shot after shot until he has Sovereign on one knee. The Silent One slams his head off the nearby ladder and gets back up, rolling him on so that he's led across it.
Mitch Law: "Oh man, this isn't a good idea Dynamite, this really isn't."
Ryan Johnson: "This kid has been acting strange for weeks now and I'm not sure if he realizes how much of a big mistake this truly is."
Mitch Law: "He's climbing the top turnbuckle with the ladder connected and Chase Sovereign on it. A bad idea? This is pure insanity."
Dynamite stands on the top turnbuckle and doesn't even think twice.. FROGSPLASH!! FROGSPLASH!! CHASE MOVES!! CHASE MOVES!!! The crunching of Dynamite's chest on the ladder is excruciating as he lands upon it, bouncing off it like a rag doll and landing across the ring.
Ryan Johnson: "He could have fractured ribs right there! I can't believe he did that."
Chase Sovereign gets back to his feet again and this time here comes Neville Sheldon. Sheldon kicks him in the mid-section and grabs his left arm, wrapping it around Sovereign's own neck before drilling him head and arm first into the same ladder Dynamite just bounced off of! The Geek Out!! This is just brutal! The bloodied Sovereign leaves a head print of blood upon the ladder but Sheldon doesn't even take notice, instead deciding to go for the Invasion Contract and victory.
Mitch Law: "Neville is climbing that ladder but how much does he really have left."
Ryan Johnson: "Here comes Donovan Carter though, he just hopped onto the other ladder and is walking it like a balancing beam to meet Sheldon half way."
With Donovan Carter now on the other ladder that sits balanced between the middle rope and the middle of the ladder, he's already as high up as Neville and starts punching away at him, hoping to stop him from getting anywhere near the contract. Neville fights back with some fierce shots of his own but Carter is relentless and with one big swoop knocks poor Sheldon back to the canvas. Donovan hops onto the ladder and starts to climb but Kaylyn James Evans of all people is up and back into the ring.
Mitch Law: "Oh wow, Kaylyn is back on her feet!"
Ryan Johnson: "How the hell? I can't believe any of these competitors are still going."
Kaylyn climbs up the ladder behind Donovan Carter and grabs him as best she can, oh wait, you don't think she's going to try and.. she leaps backwards... KY BOMB FROM THE LADDER!! KY BOMB!! KY BOMB!! She and Carter smash ass first into the canvas and if she wasn't done before, she surely is now. Dynamite and Corey Black are both back to their feet though, each holding their backs and stomachs in pain as they make their way over to the ladder, each deciding to climb the opposite side.
Mitch Law: "This match needs to end soon because all of these people are hurt badly."
Ryan Johnson: "Dynamite and Black still want this Mitch, they're climbing the ladder towards the briefcase with eyes not on each other but only on the prize."
Mitch Law: "But wait!! Here comes Chase Sovereign! He's busted wide open and bloodied but he pushes the ladder, no Chase, don't do that."
He uses all his strength to push the ladder and sends both Dynamite and Corey Black crashing over the top rope and to the concrete floor, both of them landing in a heap on the outside. There is no-one left bar Sovereign now, no-one able to get up and stop him. He pulls the ladder back up to it's central position and starts to climb.
Rung..
After Rung..
After Rung..
He reaches up.. can he take it, can he get it down.
He does!! Chase Sovereign does it! He wins the Invasion Match III!
Ryan Johnson: "He did it! Chase Sovereign is an Invasion Match winner at last! It took him two attempts but he's going to face the World Heavyweight Champion!"
Mitch Law: "What an unbelievable match!"
The fans roar as Chase sits upon the ladder with bodies strewn across the canvas and floor, bits of table, blood, everything you can imagine below him. His face is still bleeding but he doesn't care because he, he defeated five other opponents to become the Invasion Match III Winner!
