Nightmares, What a Bitch. 11-16-11
Her eyes were closed tightly. The tears streaming down her face as she cried softly to herself. His weight above her was too much, that along with her hand being pinned over her head, had her unable to fight him off.
Kaylyn as a child: “Stop, please… I’m sorry, whatever I did.. I’m sorry.“
A breathless laugh was heard coming from the man, while he continued his assault upon her.

Kaylyn tossed and turned in the bed, beads of sweat pouring over her face. Tyler woke from all her movement, and seeing this put his hand on her to lightly shake her awake. No sooner did he start, she bolted upright and jumped out of the bed backing away only to realize where she was, and what was going on.
Tyler Brooks: “Babe, you okay?“
Kaylyn was still for a moment before she moved over to the dresser, pulling out a pair of blue jeans and a long sleeved black and white shirt. The pants were quickly pulled over the short shorts she had been sleeping in, and the shirt was pulled over her tank top. Moving towards the side she grabbed a hoodie and pulled put it on, zippering it up almost instantly.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Fine. I… I need to get out of here for a while. Clear my head.“
Tyler nodded and moved to pull the blanket from over him so he could get out of the bed but Kaylyn was quick to stop him.
Kaylyn James Evans: “No, sleep. I need some time alone right now.”
Tyler tilted his head slightly but nodded once more.
Tyler Brooks: “If you change your mind, call.”
Kaylyn nodded before walking back towards the bed and leaning down to kiss him on his forehead gently.
Kaylyn James Evans: “I will, promise. Don’t wait up. You need your rest. You got a huge match coming up.”
Straightening back up, she turned her back to him and headed towards the door. The second she opened it up, Jett came running over to join her.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Come on boy, go for a walk?”
The dog barked once, before running out of the room and down the hall, presumably for the door. Kaylyn looked back at Tyler and smiled softly before stepping out of the room and closing the door behind her.

Not even twenty minutes later, Kaylyn found herself walking around the park, and at this ungodly hour, it was no shock that she was not alone, hell, this was New York. Deeper into the park she went before finding herself alone in the field. Squatting down she undid the leash on the pup before letting him run off and tossing a ball for him to run after. When Jett got the ball he ran with it for a moment before running back towards her and knocking her back in the process. Her hand went to grab the ball, and after a short tug of war, she finally had the slobber covered tennis ball in her hand once more.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Would you believe Lilith thought she had it bad? Idiot, if she only knew the hell I went through after moving with those people.”
Sure, those people were her aunt and uncle, but it didn’t mean she had to think of them that way anymore. Did she ever tell Lilith about the hell that was her life? Fuck no. She didn’t need to know. No one did. The dog looked at her with a sideways glance before whimpering. Kaylyn shook her head before standing up and tossing the ball once more letting it fly through the air only to land across the field with the dog running after it.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Jesus, I don’t even know why I still do this. Sure, I love it, but it started off as a way to protect myself, and now… damn.. ”
Kaylyn closed her eyes as the breeze came rushing past her. The thoughts running through her head had her sighing. Speaking them aloud was even worse of a feeling.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Maybe at one point in time you had a dream… woke up one day and knew, just knew what you wanted to be. It led you to the ring, the fans and this business. You loved it, with all your heart…until the day you sold out and it became more about the money, and getting one over on everyone in the back than it did about what we actually do. I haven’t gotten to that point where I’ll suck that Corporate cock, no matter how I look or what YOU think of me. When I do, maybe I’ll have more respect for you than I do now. Now, you have my absolute disgust. Maybe then…you’ll have my pity. Because I will rise above even that day, and you will be stuck there, wheels spinning and wishing things were different.”
Opening her eyes she shook her head before seeing the dog rushing at her once more. She dipped down ready to grab the ball and the dog rushed past her wanting her to fight to get it. She laughed softly before taking hold of it in the dogs mouth as Jett tried to rush past again. Another tug of war had her with the ball before tossing it yet again.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Damn, I never thought those words would come back to haunt me. When I said them to Jackson just months ago, I never thought they would come true. God damn if I am not sucking the corporate cock now. Well, so it seems. Is this really where I seen myself heading?”
A deep intake of air was had while she looked up at the sky before letting it out. The one place she never seen herself was up a managers ass and doing someone else bidding. Sure, she had someone doing her own as well, but the fact that she sold out.. it was something she never expected to do. Was it for the better? To sell out and be in that top group that everyone hated, to be so despised. She still had to think that one over. Sure she didn’t care of others opinions, but her own opinion… was something she had to take into consideration, and soon. Sighing she started to walk across the dewy grass while putting her hands into the jean pockets.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Why is it I am worried about that right now? Hell, I should be worried about what I was thinking when I put myself in this match for Dead End. Myself.. the Perfect fucking Ten teaming with Hero and COLT COOPER!? What the hell?! Hero I can deal with but Colt… did I seriously think for one second that I will be okay with teaming with that egotistical son of a bitch? The same bastard who put Lilith up to attacking me. I don’t care that Tyler handled things.. he has got to know that I plan to get my own hands on him for that as well. Sure, Tyler took him out for… god, how long has it been since WWW? Oh right.. like ten weeks or so? Damn, my man is good. Hell, he still has to deal with me. Partner or not, Colt will get what’s coming to him.”
She continued walking, oblivious to the fact that Jett was right on her heels. Reaching the swings she sat upon one before seeing the dog coming to sit in front of her staring up at her.
Kaylyn James Evans: “And as far as my opponents go… Hell, they are on the wrong end of the match. Joshua Curtis? Eli Travis? and… of course, my old buddy, CJ Wylde. They will see that I don’t need The Corporation as back up to get things done. I didn’t before, and I don’t now. Hell, I might be in said group, but that don’t mean a damn thing. I have done plenty of damage to others before heading down that road, and what can I say… the side of me everyone has seen recently… the violent side… is here to stay. While were at it.. how do you think hes feeling? I mean, Colt did attack him after his match… fancy how attacks keep coming his way, isn’t it?”
Kaylyn laughed softly before taking the ball from Jett’s mouth and tossing it across the park once more. No sooner did the pup take off after it, Kaylyn pushed herself to a stand before lifting herself and standing upon the swing, holding the chains firmly as she rocked herself back and forth getting the swinging motion going.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Ah, finally, able to relax, and just let everything out. Holding things in for so long, damn.. does it do things to you. At least, to me it does. Like these dreams… damn, don’t you hate when something happens in life and you just can’t shake it away no matter how hard you try? Just when you think you have… it finds it’s way to creep back up on you too. Guess you can think of me that way Wylde. Just when you thought you had gotten out of my line of sight… just when you thought Gowan had taken it all into his hands… surprise, I am back on your radar, and this time… things will be different. This time I don’t have a monster in my corner doing my bidding. Oh no, this time… it’s going to be me handling things on my own. Like they always say, never send a man to do a woman’s job, otherwise he will just fuck it up and make it that much more work for you in the end. Looks like it’s time to put you down Wylde, and your partners, well, they are coming along for the ride. After all, beggars can’t be choosers, now can they?”
Kaylyn’s smile stayed upon her face as she swung back and forth while standing upon the swing. Her hair flowing freely as it got caught in the winds blow. Closing her eyes she leaned back slightly enjoying the peace around her. Peace it truly was too, seeing as Jett had taken to chasing a field mouse around, of course, when she opened her eyes once more she made sure to check that he had not gone too far.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Eli Travis, and Joshua Curtis… bet you had no idea when you went to talk to Norman you would find yourselves across the ring from me did you? Hell, your probably not even caring, and well… that would be your downfall. I am sure that you, Curtis, are looking to redeem yourself after that loss this week as well, am I right? No one can blame you. Hell, I didn’t come out on a winning side either, but, we all know I could care less about that shit. We all know that no matter what, I keep coming back for more. That’s something I can not say about the man you two have on your side this week. The man who was laid out by yours truly, and decided to allow others to handle what he could not. Wonder if you two are the same way? Curtis, let me answer something for you before you even ask… I don’t believe in angels, but, I sure as hell hope you do, because if not, you might find yourself somewhere very unfamiliar. Obviously I am not referring to a hospital bed here.
As for Eli… ah Mr. Travis.. What can I really say? Am I going to count you out from the start due to your… handicap? No, I won’t. I am not as stupid as those might lead you to believe. I can be rather intelligent at times, but why let everyone see it day in and day out? I’d rather let them believe so much less of me. It makes for quite the surprise if I do say so myself.“
A soft smile stayed upon her lips as she continued.
Kaylyn James Evans: “When all is said and done, it’s going to be a Dead End for someone… and while I plan on coming out of this match with a win… I believe the dead end will come to Colt. Mr. Star studded himself. You see boys… this here is a lesson for you… Wylde already knows what its like when your on my bad side. Eli, Joshua, you two will not only get the pleasure of being against me in the ring… but you also get to see up close and personal, how well I don’t let things rest. You fuck with me… you will regret it for a lifetime. This is something Cooper is going to find out real soon. As for Hero… hate to break it to you kid, but you got put in a match with an unpredictable outcome. You see… I would have no problem costing us the match just so I can get my hands on Colt. Surprise boys. This week… no matter what side you’re on.. I am the wild factor, and this party… is already chaotic.”
Kaylyn’s smile grew into a smirk, and before she knew it she heard someone approaching from behind and clearing their throat. Not expecting such, it was no surprise when she was startled and slipped back falling off the swing… lucky for her, or maybe unlucky for her… she fell right into the waiting arms of the man whom had made his way up behind her. Looking up her eyes widened a bit before her lips parted.
Kaylyn James Evans: “Oh shit… what the hell are you doing here?”
Sadly, we might not ever know who it was as the scene ended before we could get a glimpse.
