Backstage: “More Questions Than Answers.”

While they spent some time together over the holidays, what happened at FrostByte was not discussed between the two at all. So when Kaylyn walked into the locker room the last thing she expected was a confrontation. She should have known better.
“What the hell was that?”
Kaylyn stopped just inside the door after putting her bag down and looked at Tyler. “Come again?” Hey, why not play stupid and see where it goes.
“Don’t play games with me Kay. What the hell was that about at FrostByte? You know, I lost my match because of you.”
“Wait what? How in the hell is you losing your match my fault?!” Typical, never taking blame for ones own actions when it’s negative.
“You walked out before my match. How could you do that?”
Way to avoid the question. Kaylyn shook her head and rolled her eyes slightly before turning her back to him. She had to get ready for her match, and worry about that. Not this.
“Kay, don’t do this. Answer me. What’s going on here?”
Kaylyn bit the inside of her lip for a moment before turning around to face Tyler. “I understand you might feel some sort of way because I was not there at FrostByte, but you can’t blame me for your loss. You should have thought about how effective Elacia was really going to be for you. Obviously, unlike some… she was unable to get the job done. Now, are we good? I have a match to get ready for.”
Tyler listened to what she had to say before shaking his head. As he opened his mouth to speak once more Kay cut him off. “I don’t have time for this right now.”
Grabbing her things she left the locker room giving them both some needed space. Was this the beginning of the end for The Corporation, or was this a ploy to make it seem like Tyler was all alone?
