“Fade to Black”

Kaylyn James Evans and her new client Chase Sovereign are backstage to a tremendous ovation. Kaylyn is trying to help Chase understand his opponent but the returning superstar really doesn’t appear interested.

Chase Sovereign: “Yeah yeah, tell it to someone else.”

Kaylyn James Evans: “Don’t give me that Chase, not when you won’t listen to my advice. I’m telling you his weaknesses and how to exploit them, if anyone knows them it’s me.”

Chase Sovereign: “And how is that, exactly?”

She quickly becomes cagey.

Kaylyn James Evans: “It doesn’t matter. If you want to beat him and make your return as spectacular as it can be then you’re going to need to know exactly what to do to him in the ring.”

Chase Sovereign: “Forget it!”

Chase stands up, smirking confidently at her.

Chase Sovereign: “I don’t need to know how to beat a guy like Corey Black, how many times have I gotta tell you? What I do need is some towels, so why don’t you be a good agent and go fetch me some of those.”

Kaylyn sighs at him, running a hand through her hair and leaving the room in a huff. Chase looks at himself in the mirror, flexing his muscles and checking himself out when suddenly Corey Black’s reflection appears behind him. Sovereign spins around quickly and to a massive right hand, then another, Black smashing him head first into the mirror for good measure and leaving him laying on the floor.

Corey Black: “She’s only using you for her own agenda Chase, but if you want to play it this way then fine.”

The camera follows Black out of the room, taking a look back at Sovereign who lays holding his head on the floor.
