Sunlight shattering off of glass, the dawn breaking over the cityscape as the wind blew through cleanly. There was no grime, no grit or decay...only the clean lines of the man-made mountains of glass and steel though there was no other indication that there was any habitation here by human beings. No sound of early morning traffic to filter up and dismay the purity of the wind, the sun and the golden glitter of light fractured through glass.
